Actually, after playing around this afternoon with my R700 and sleight of hand, having stopping power helps out alot. It was way easier to snipe with it than without. The only way I was guaranteed a kill was with headshots, otherwise it took two bullets pretty much every time.
Good games tonight fellows.
Starting to hold my own in our games a little better! Had my best game ever right before joining up with the Cags. 20-3 on Ambush, got the chopper challenge finally (actually called in 2 choppers that match--my first 2 every in 30+ hours of play!) and got team deathmatch MVP as well.

That was fun owning that one guy talking so much trash. I was trying to use the mini uzi for the first time, and ended up something like 11-21 in the match. They were all like dude you suck so bad, so the next match (Bog) I pull out the trusty old M16 with red dot and go like 28-6 and outscore their top three players combined.
Of course I was a cheater because I called in a few airstrikes and choppers though.

Since I haven't officially said it anywhere, the reason I haven't been on as much is because of my job at UPS. I went back there a few weeks ago. My schedule is now 4am EST every day meaning I'm in bed at 10 the latest if not earlier. I'm usually poking my head on whenever tho, if you guys see me physically online, send me an invite, it doesn't matter what I'm playing.

so, im just not excited about playing this game much anymore. feel burnt out on it, ive been playing less with cags ( i play less period and cags havent been on at the same time) and the little ive been playing has seen a sharp increase on douchbags.
I dont think ill pick up the maps so I may be finished with this online ( i suspect everyone still playing will pretty much get the maps).
anyway, dave, if needed feel free to remove me from the list.
most of the regular cags have me on their FL anyway.

Darn I have 600 points and I really dont feel like spending 20 bucks to buy another 1400 right now...since 1200 will be left over and I pretty much could care less about XBLA stuff...

I'd say the odds of me not picking these maps up are about the same as me getting run over by a pink Ford F-150 with purple flames driven by an escaped walrus from the local zoo the next time I walk out my front door.
Of course I'm going to get them. I've been saving the points for the maps since before this game was out.

Did we get 7 in a row on them? My high win streak was 6 and now it's 7. I started that first match 1-8 and finished like 28-15 or something. I even had three or so matched in a row with 20some kills to single digit deaths. Part of it might have been the fact that they ran around together like siamese twins. I've never had that many +20s and +30s pop up before. I think the main factor in my playing well was having such a good team. That's the most I've gotten to play with CAGs and I gotta say you guys are good.

Seems like I hear that "using _____ is cheating" in both games I've played online (Gears and this). What's next I play Madden and I'm cheating for using a stiff arm or throwing a pass?

Thats exactly it. It is really nice to not have to carry five other random people. Like in our massacre earlier this week, everyone was contributing. It wasn't like there was one person dominating and everyone else just cleaning up whatever they missed. We had a bunch of people getting team MVP every game.

Those Headquarters matches that happened at the end of the night were awesome. Once again owning the trash talking 12 year old really hit the spot. I hadn't really played that due to typically being on the team of noobs that clans own, but we dominated those games. I know I was averaging around 1000 XP a round. With those kinds of numbers, who cares if I ever get 150 kills with the AK-47 or the Mini-Uzi?

Last night's matches were some of the best I've had. We really had a good team going: we communicated well, we covered the flanks well, and we were on top of our game.
That lobby we were in for a long time really was the best lobby, like hamster (I think) said. I almost blew our cover with that forum line

I am probably going to get the new maps but I won't be able to play with them until Monday, April 7 because the day they come out I will be recording my podcast and that weekend is the big VS. System Mega Weekend series of tournaments in Chicago so I will be at that all weekend.

I'd say the only people switching over are those that have already done it by now for the most part. Most nights someone will ask us if we've played R6V yet, and the answer between all of the regulars is always no.

Yeah, I have no interest in Vegas. Still CoD4 for me. Haven't been on since Wednesday due to a combination of getting robbed at gunpoint Thursday night and having internet problems.
Should be on in the next couple of days. Actually may be on afterwhile if I'm up for it after watching one more episode of Band of Brothers.

Hopefully they'll catch the guy soon, we gave them a good composite, and after that they got him on video using some of our credit cards in local stores before we cancelled them (late Thursday night, we canceled all them shortly after getting done with the cops). They're hoping to get some prints out of my roomates car as well as he left some soda bottles and what not in it.
