Unfortunately I am too much of a COD4 addict to touch any of the 6 games I got during that sale last Friday. I did however start playing NCAA 09 finally.

P.S. Won't be able to make it tonight... I got advanced screening passes to Step Brothers tonight and then I have to work again. Also last night I got to see Pineapple Express. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes the other Seth Rogen movies. In a nut shell it is a mix of Half-Baked, SuperBad, and Knocked Up.

You didn't miss much. We were pretty much sucking (myself especially) and we all disbanded around 11-11:30 EST to go play other stuff.
 
Yeah, I haven't gotten much sleep the past few nights due to some sort of head cold I've got now. Towards the end of our session I started feeling dizzy and like my head weighed around 300 pounds and I couldn't hold it up anymore, so I decided to call it a night.
 
Is there room on the COD4 list? I was on the list for awhile but I think I'm probably off it now. A RROD and work killed my gaming for a long time.

I've got some time now and I'd definitely like to get back into some COD4 with CAGs. I've played with a few of you before and it was a lot of fun (if it matters, I'm pretty good).
 
Yeah, the CAGCOD4 list hasn't been updated in something like 70 days. We need to make sure that Dave is not in charge of the COD5 CAG list as I'd like it to actually be kept up to date.

I think you're actually on my friends list still though, so I'll keep a look out for you.

i started up a name for everyone in this thread to use the way he old one was. the name is COD4CAG if anyone really cares to use it, i do check it every now and then to try and keep it updated. (the stats on that name are terrible because my brother's friend who never played the game before wanted to cage match against my brother, so i let him us this account for the time he played).

Fleshie and Khondor: I saw both of you in my game earlier today and tried to talk to you guys but apparently my mic isn't working or something. I know I was chattering it up the entire game and no one really ever said anything back on my team.

I saw you and flesh on so I joined your HCTD game
but flesh had left.
My headset was acting up so I didnt have it plugged in.
Then you left, so I switched games

I have done that exact same thing, not know my mic wasnt working and i kept talking... It was rather a lonely conversation :)

Last night was some fun... I will probably miss out playing tonight, but then I will be making my triumphant return tomorrow night and probably play every night except Saturday until next Friday.

[PAIN] Clan was fun last night. Darktower (I think it was him) suggests switching all of our Clan tags and then they just start grilling me despite the fact that I had the highest score by about 40. Also I couldn't stop laughing when Chase changed it to [PAN?]. Also I don't know who made the comment following the absolute rape that happened on Domination, but it was something like "There clan tag is pain because they take so much of it"

Oh yes. Just from hearing them talking all serious about how they told that one guy how they'd appreciate it if he'd remove his clan tag like it was a huge deal was great. Then to back that up with them absolutely sucking made it all the more awesome. I mean, I went something like 41-13 using the G3 of all guns just picking them off on the right side of Ambush as they came for A.

Them backing out to the tune of "I don't even really like Domination anyway..." was hilarious.

No no... I was there for that... It was against the AIDS clan. They first said that Juggernaut was cheap (which it somewhat is)... But then they said that the M21 was cheap as were silencers, uav jammers, and P90s. Not even grouped nonetheless. Not to mention, one guy sent me a message saying I was a piece of shit because I used the .... Drum roll please...

Yeah, that was pretty fun. I tried playing hardcore a while back, when I hadn't been playing CoD4 for long and was still learning the ropes, so....it didn't go so well. Until we played Saturday, I hadn't tried it since then. Knowing the game a lot better made hardcore a lot more fun. I'm still not as good at hardcore as I am at regular team deathmatch, but it's fun nonetheless. I'd like to play some more sometime.

No, I'm just running a big research project on the opposite coast....plus conferences, visiting the girlfriend who lives 500 miles away now etc.

Though last time I was out of town a couple weeks ago was just to visit my parents.

Yeah, I'm loving hardcore for two reasons. One, the G3 kills with one bullet every time unless they've got last stand and even then unless someone else gets them you get the kill. And two, Claymores are devastating. I'm loving dropping them around practically every corner and getting kill after kill. Basically as long as they set them off and don't make it behind a wall or anything they're dead.

It seems like hardcore rewards playing well better than the regular mode. The regular mode is more forgiving if you run out of cover or rush or mess up.
 
oh yeah, and to that extent, there's no fucking martyrdom in hardcore except for the random person who has it on. It seems that noob tubing is the annoyance of that gametype, especially at the beginning of rounds when they know their team hasn't made it across mid-map yet they'll just launch them like crazy.
