CAG Gaming Group - Call of Duty 4 Thursdays
I'm most likely going to watch the Celtics game tonight, but I'll be on after that.
DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOIIIITTTTTTT BAAAAASSSSKKKEETTTTTTTTTTTBBAAALLLLLLLLLLL

Here's my experience last night:

I get on COD 4. The CAG party is full. I play Eternal Sonata. I get invited to play not more than two minutes after I start playing ES.

I log onto COD 4 again. I get invited to Carcassone with DCriminal and Simon. I play one game and lose. Everybody is off COD 4 and so I go to bed.

Ugggghhhh.

Maybe, just maybe, one of these days I'll be able to play with you guys.

What the fuck, weather? After a week during which the temperature hovered between 90-100 degrees, it's now 52. Scary part is that I woke up to a tornado warning, after dreaming about a tornado hitting. After experiencing the tornadoes that destroyed a lot of shit in my hometown in March 2006 (Springfield, Illinois- Here's the aftermath) that scares the shit out of me.

Right now it's raining pretty hard, with thunder and lightning and all that jazz. The gods are conspiring against us playing together, Simon!

It was the same thing here. It's been getting fairly hot around here, and all of a sudden today there were like six to ten tornadoes in my general area. They aren't sure the exact number yet but it was at minimum six. One tore through a small town about 15 miles from here. Now the sun is back out.

I just started playing CoD4 again after like a month of not playing it. Been playing for 3 days, but I swear that I am better than before - which isn't saying much. I see some CAGs online but they're in a party and I can't join . Send me an invite if you're looking to play. Look for Unsavory Niblet on the CAGCOD4 friends list.

Just saw a report on the news tonight about a 1mi wide tornado there in Colorado. We have tornadoes yearly here in Central Texas and severe thunderstorms, lighting, and hail are the norm. Fortunately, my family has not been affected too bad.

Was fun playing those few matches with fellow CAGs, until I started getting autobooted for not having the map pack when those maps would come up =(. Guess I'll be buying that map pack.

Sorry for bailing at the end but I kept getting disconnected so instead of messing up the game I just decided to turn off the 360 and start downloading the new videos released on the PS3 store update today.

Great games guys! It's nice when we get altogether in a ranked match. I loved after that one game when we got that lobby with 18/12 players and that Microsoft error message....that's some good stuff

Yep. We need to try for ranked CAG on CAG action every Thursday. I got to shoot Simon in the face and unlock an ACOG. haha

I did pretty terrible in the later, big CAG vs. CAG battle. So apologies to my team mates. I just couldn't get back into the rhythm I had earlier, which really angered me, as I hate looking bad. However, it was fun, as Simon mentioned as he left.

Twen and Alt I wasn't trying to ignore your invites last night. I was playing with a buddy of mine who usually get off early but he was still playing when I left last night. I'm sure you guys missed my usual 5-13 score.

I bailed around 11pm last night when my intenet connection dropped for some reason... there was a Big Cag v Cag match i missed yet again? Dammit

:(
Yeah, you killed me a lot last night, Heart!

Anyways, last night was, without a f'n doubt, the most fun I've EVER had on XBOX LIVE. PERIOD.

I mean, we had Matt Young, Twenzor and I in a room. It was like "KARAOKE REVOLUTION"

...in Hell.

But once again, thanks for everyone that played all night, it rocked!
...and after watching that Mr. Bucket video...I can't believe that used to be played on televison. WOW.

Then again, those "ejaculation" Super Soaker commercials were apparently on TV too. :twoguns:

A tornado here isn't all that unusual but the group of them all in the same general area is what made these strange. Not something we are used to. I too have been lucky when it comes to tornadoes, a couple of close ones but never really anything major.

That mile wide tornado was insane, if you get a chance you should try to find the video they have of that one. I'm not sure if it is online or not but they showed it on the local news.

Edit-here is the local 9news video

ehmmm... You seem to be forgetting someone... Like I said to twen later on... I really don't know if you could get a worse room in COD4. Worse as in loud, obnoxious, random as hell, and creepy. I mean we probably had the 4 loudest people on the CAGCOD4 list. I am so glad I got drafted by twen.

It is hard to pick a favorite part of the night, but hearing Mr. Bucket out of the blue from the Undertaker...er I mean Matt Young... may have been the best part.

The 4 Whoremen - Simon D I, Twenzor, Zeus Rambo, and yours truely AttackingMVP.

OHHHH MAN, I'm so sorry, dude! You WERE crazier than all of us!! I like that,...the Four Whoremen!! YEAHHHHHHH

Well it was a lot better then being on the other team; I managed to be on hamsters team late last night after you left Simon, and I was like trying to start a convo and nothing was said by anyone on the team, I promptly quit the game (I was the host) and went to pass out for an hour before work.

That is good news, sir.

Also, I saw Have a Hamster Heart playing NBA Street Homecourt. I assume he was the Spurs. ;)

Already fellow bros - I will be on tonight for some zaniness for sure. I feel like I've been missing a lot these last few weeks. I need a virtual group hug tonight. But not from Simon ... I don't trust where that guy's hands may go :).

I'm idling at the dash, but I'm setting up recording for episode 2 of my podcast, I'll be on after tho.

Ok. It's official. People in this game have gotten way too good and I don't think I'll be on much anymore. It came to a creshendo this evening with us playing domination on Bog and me going 9-35.

And JohnQuincy's constant yelling didn't make matters worse .

I still love you Rudy. Bog is the most lopsided unfair map in the game if you ask me. You can join my team and I'll accept you unconditionally.

Haha, yeah I've been jonesin' to play that game for a couple of days now Chase, and it really hit the spot. I will say after the crushing loss tonight I almost empathize the Spurs. I still won't cheer for them, but I don't really hate them as much.

Dont give up on it Rudy. You can join in my party anytime.
and dont let JAQ get to you, he's just a very intense player,
whos trying to motivate his team the only way he knows how.

Poor Khondor. I assume razzing was had, or will happen later. ;) Hehehe...

As for my "stealth mode" late last night, I just wanted to test my skills, prove things to myself. One thing proven? The need to reset my Internet connection after downloading things.

Yeah Rudy, if you haven't played for a while, it can take time to get your groove back. Plus Domination sucks ass.

I'm on Pacific time like you, and since I'm an insomniac, I'm almost always on late when I do play. Join me anytime!

Alright ... I won't give up. I need a few good games to get me back. Khondor ... I felt bad for you watching the Spurs getting their ass handed to them last night.
Alright ... I won't give up. I need a few good games to get me back. Khondor ... I felt bad for you watching the Spurs getting their ass handed to them last night.
I didn't. Kobe and I have been tight ever since I moved to Southern California.

:D

I'm just pissed that my boy Ray Allen isn't shooting the ball well at all. I'm the biggest Sonics fan, and I want him to get a shot at Kobe or Manu.

Haha, I've noticed that you do that every once in awhile. Just join my games, play until the end and then leave immediately, leaving me to wonder if you were really there at all.

Haha, after that beating it would just be plain mean to comment on it. That would be kicking a dying horse, especially when they've had extremely little rest. I know if the Spurs had been 100% it would have been closer. Also, Ray Allen started play well in Game 2, but had too many fouls to be able to do anything. I was just as pissed as you were.

But anyway, back to COD... I played a couple of free-for-all's and mercenary team deathmatches after I quit playing with you guys and I've got to say if you ever want to feel good about your skills play those with a room full of noobs. I was practically sniping across the map with an ironsights P90.

Weirdest thing ever just happened. I lagged out of a game, got some error message, the game said there was 0 players in my party, and then the game demoted me from a 42 to a 41. I know for a fact that I was a level 42 because thats when the Humiliation challenges happen, also I had finished P90 II, and it wasn't done when I just checked.

I blame Twen because he joined my game right when it happened. ;)

Ahh, dont feel bad for the Spurs. I Dont.
Even if they do come up short this season....

Well....

they had a good run
Woah, woah. I want to join this clan. Is it still active?
Pretty much nightly. I don't know if the list still gets updated regularly, but send a FR to a few regular posters here in the thread and that'll pretty much guarantee that you'll make it into games.

Samus, it's so active (at least on Thursdays) that there's often not enough room for everyone in a single party. But I say, the more the merrier!

Is anyone else experiencing an infrequent-yet-still-irritating "knifing instead of shooting" glitch? It only started recently, for me, and it's pretty bothersome, especially when I have my sights on a sure-kill. :whistle2:$

Hey man, don't take it personally, someone has to coach the team :)

We were doing fairly well for that match considering we arent a coordinated group and have many different skill levels.

There's a group of us that play pretty much every weeknight. This weekend has been pretty sparse though.

I played a few mercenary team deathmatch games against Chase "The Ghost" Murata around 2am.

Chase, I take it you are stealthing your XBL presence to avoid talking to us or do you just have a little sister who enjoys pwning random people on your friends list playing COD4?

Well, it certainly isn't done to avoid talking to you guys. :grouphug: One reason I go ninja is to test my skills against the team's key players. I also do this to Ham Heart. It's just for fun. :D

That's awesome. I just got a 360 (if you saw my topic in the Bragging Rights forum), so I suck pretty bad and I need a headset. Once I get one I plan on joining you guys.

I've been raised on WiFi so I've been pretty deprived my whole life.

Does this involve practically yelling at everyone for whatever reason, including playing your guitar during the lobby, making everyone else leave.

Yeah, Samus, I'm one of the freaks who play Call of Duty 4 a lot. I have a couple spaces open on my friend list, so feel free to add me. ^_^
