I have a question. I haven't played COD4 online in a couple months. I just started a couple days ago. Is there a reason why when I played team deathmatch over the weekend a kill was worth +20 whereas today it was worth +10? Is this something new or am I just crazy?

Can't believe I had a week of vacation, didn't go anywhere and still didn't even play Cod until last night. Had fun playing with 8 or so CAGs with some randoms. I wasn't actively seeking to join up since I knew my ten month old would be up and I don't like dropping out in the middle of matches with friends, but I only had to drop once and was able to rejoin still in the same match. Something about Cod must be soothing to a baby, but she grabs my mic cord in her sleep which means I have to run silent sometimes. Anyways, it was fun and I jumped from 37 to 41 including some headquarters matches with Patwrik who got online after everyone else signed off. I got a lot of points in headquarters with double XP on!

Hope you guys don't mind me advertising here since CAG COD4 was discussed.

I have never had any sort of broadcast experience, much less podcasts. However, Tim AKA twenzor was in need of a co-host and I offered my services. The first episode with me in it went online today after being recorded last night. Hopefully, I come off okay. I've been told I have a good radio voice.

The show is called UAV Jammers. There is no dedicated format and we did not have anything planned beforehand, but it's mainly about games and life in general, with some wrestling discussion thrown in.

Just finished listening.

Pros:
I liked the layout on the actual website with the podcast highlights.
Getting name dropped like six times. haha You all forgot about our Lost parody where we lost contact with JQA after the helicopter was shot down.
It was actually really easy to listen to. I would have expected from our COD madness that this would have been an episode of random shouting and the Undertaker.


Cons:
Matt was mixed a little low. I had to really listen to hear what he was saying.

Overall it was pretty entertaining and a good listen.

There are lots of awesome casts out there (www.cyberpunksgaming.com), but the UAV Jammers takes Podcasting in a different, more chilled out direction! See, Twen, a COD side-cast may be a good idea after all!
 
Listening to the end of it now. Other than Matt Young being hard to hear sometimes it was great. Twen and Matt seems like it is going to be a good hosting combo.
 
Yes, I was pleasantly surprised at the casual atmosphere. My only complaint is that Matt was very hard to hear.

And Matt, if you didn't choose Fire Pro Wrestling D, I would have disowned you. ;)
 
I'll have to give it a listen. As long as it's not just a bunch of shouting about random HD DVD purchases and what not, I'm sure I'll enjoy it ;).

Thanks. We have no show format. We go in talking about whatever we feel like it, gaming or otherwise. Hence, why when Wombat doesn't do his work for the CAGcast, he'd be perfect for the UAV Jammers.

I guess I missed the party tonight... I signed on at 1:00am eastern and I had a whopping three friends online. Tried playing by myself and ended up running into an entire clan running with Juggernaut and Extreme Conditioning with everything silenced. My team of random noobs did nothing but complain and die alot.
 
i got the 360 edition a week and half ago and ive been playing the single player on veteran and the mission, no fighting in the war room is pissing me off so bad, im near the missle silo's near the slow door and i have 5 mins left :( i keep dying!

A few of us got together for some pretty good matches, including a match on Crossfire
against a team full of 1st level players. It was pretty fun, they where just wandering down the middle of the street looking or people to shoot. :lol:

Then of course Karma had to bite us in the ass later, we played a Clan on Bog, got the bad spawn and where totally annihilated :cry:
I can still remember the wise words of DC. "Make the pain go away......"
we sure could have used some Hammy Love for that match.

the only "dispute" between me and twen, is the fact that he strongly "dislikes" JQA. and, well, its not possible for me to hate JQA.

Twen takes it too far some times, with kicking JQA out of the party, or not listening, and doing random crap.

Twen knows that i have a bad connection issue, and will often not back out; once i cannot get into a game, to pick me up.
 
I'll probably hop on some tonight if there's people playing early enough (i.e. don't know how long I can stay up after the game is over).
