I actually sold this game, but over the holidays, rebought it. The problem is, do I have enough time to play again. With all the other handful of games I got as well... Damn you cheapassgamer!

I still find time(usually later at night) to play this, though most times it's just showing people who are willing to stop shooting at me for longer than 5 seconds all of the glitches and how to exploit some of them.

Of course, that only happens very rarely, since the bulk of idiots coming into the no friendly fire Free Mode games I make tend not to understand why I'm not dying after they spend 20-25 minutes shooting me and empty 2-5 different types of weapons into me.
 
Popped this game in last night and played a couple rounds of Hangman's Noose. This game surprisingly still looks good and the soundtrack is great as always (more of a Liberty Rock guy). It was just hilarious as always when someone (usually me) would botch the escort.

Well, I already 100%'ed the single player, I guess I'll get a crackin' on that multiplayer. But considering they haven't updated it, I would have to play for several straight hours for those damn trophies...

Considering AWP needs to be done in one sitting (~9 hours, double that or more if you want to help those who help you), plus the game likes to lose money you earned sometimes, getting all the trophies will be pretty time intensive.:lol:

I am having a good time going through the single player. Like it better than I thought I would.

Good lord I forgot how much fucking fun the insanity of GTA4 multiplayer is. GREAT games guys and Randy dude, stop trying to re-create that flaming car fiasco from last week. It was a complete fluke so just stop trying to do it again!!!

I'm usually on in the evenings, starting around 8-9pm most nights, so anytime around then should be good. Although probably whoever has the better connection(probably you since I have measly 768 dsl :whistle2:X)should host.

I usually make the free modes with 5-10 open slots, standard weapons, no cops, lotsa peds(or cannon fodder as I call them), auto aim and friendly fire OFF. It keeps the people who just wanna hang out and have some fun causing mayhem to the peds and in general and gets rid of the people who wanna come in to practice for deathmatch. :roll:
 
I still prefer Free Mode to C&C or Turf War, but if you're up for some TDM/DM I might consider playing. Just be sure to watch out for flaming kamikaze cars coming down the road straight for you. ;)
 
Im glad you guys convinced me to rebuy the game, those games last night were tremendous. That hour we spent finding ways to glitch the game was cool also, forgot how terribly coded that game was. Its always nice to end a night on a cannonball run.
 
Glitches? That sounds like a typical night of me playing the game. Exactly which glitches did you all happen to mess with? Underwater glitches? Rotterdam Tower? Airport hangar glitch? Airport terminal glitch?

As for me, March can't come quick enough, since the DLC disc version will certainly take over for the base game once it comes out.

Hopefully Gamestop will get the pre-order listing up for it soon, before I splurge on a PStwo bundle to play my remaining PS2 games and mess around in Vice City on.

Now all Rockstar has to do is release a compilation of GTA III/Vice City/San Andreas on PS3 and I'll be set and not need to buy a PS2.:D

LOL I have only managed to get to that 'too drunk to see' point a couple times in my life. Thing is, I haven't drank in over 10 years now. I turned 21 and the bars were friggin' boring. Same shit every night I went.

When I was underage it was a thrill to get served and get a lil buzzed, but once you turn legal age it gets a lil boring and repetitive.

I played freemode. I just love the freewheeling aspect of it - its so insane. Some guys pile in a car, someone jumps the helo, I like that rocket launcher action atop the building.

The only annoying thing are the guys who repeat "wants to kick XXX" - that shit is played

I always make my Free Mode games with friendly fire off, but the cops could be on or off for some added fun. There's nothing quite like getting into a police standoff at the lawyer's building in southern Algonquin with a bunch of friends(or at least decent shots lol)and holding off the SWAT team for an hour or so.

As for people trying to kick other people, that's why I almost always make my games private games. That way I don't have idiots coming in trying to kick me from my own game, which has happened to me before and is quite frustrating.

I never said ya weren't, but I gotta hope either xxx or kube gets another copy of GTA IV, since I know my chances of getting an invite from any of you is slim to nil.
