CAG GTAIV Night: Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel[ 9/2 @ 10pm EST ]

I'm starting up the game in a few minutes. We'll probably start with some DMs as people join, then move to GTA Race and hopefully some Turf War, Car Jack City and Cops & Crooks. Headsets recommended or you'll be banished to the mic-less team! :)
 
Im in if anyone wants to invite me. No mic though but i like to listen to podcast while im playing games so it probably would have been annoying.
 
Thanks for playing, everyone. It was great to have a full GTA night again. I can't believe that SuperKing and I apparently died just as we got to the boat in the second to last Cops & Crooks.

Did anyone else's headset die out partway through? I didn't hear anyone talking after the first 3-team TDM, but I still saw the mic icons flashing. I think Mana said it's an issue with the latest firmware.

I think this Tuesday is the new MGO night, but I'll gladly host again next Sunday.

Thanks everyone ('specially metaly). This was my first time playing with CAGers and I had a blast. Looking forward to more. 9Eastern is a tough start for me as I usually can't join until after 9:30 central. What we did play was fun though.

I think I friended everyone I played with so looking for my add request.

I was going to jump off the bridge as well, but seeing as how you two died, I decided it was best to go back to the ramp that I missed. I was laughing my ass off when that happened, lol. :lol:

Good to see that GTA night isn't dead. With more games being added to the CAG List, I think I'll just stick with listing Sunday's as GTA nights. Hopefully I'm around next week to participate.

This was a huge GTA night... we had around 12+ different people, with 9-10 on at once. Maybe metaly should mass message people every week.:cool:

Bwahahaha! That was all me! I figured if I followed you guys toward the boat, I would be too late, so I made a run toward the end of the adjacent dock and sprayed both of you. Had to take you out first, since you were the driver I think. :lol:

Oh man, I thought that might have been you. I hit triangle to get into the boat and it instantly brought up the round results screen, then showed you standing on the pier menacingly. I was like... buh?
 
It was definitely great to get a good sized game of GTA going again. Thanks for organizing and prodding people to come and play Metaly!

I'll be there again next week. :bomb:
 
Dunno if anyone's adding PSN IDs to the OP at all, but mine is "ohvermie" and I'll be down for some GTAIV action with CAG peeps on Sunday.

It's that time again... time to start getting hyped for this Sunday's GTA night! Let me know if you want to see any specific game types or courses/maps this time, or else I'll stick to the stuff we did last time because everyone seemed to enjoy it. I'm thinking:

Well i just saw this and added a couple of these tags. Note: when I tried adding Gshocker got message that said "this tag is not on xbox live" or something like that.

Melee only dm...:drool: I don't think I've every successfully hurt anyone with the knife...

And GTA race == bad in my book. Especially if it's going to be with stuff like that. Someone will always steal a different vehicle to win. Regular race with service vehicles would be win though.

The plan is to go for about 90 minutes. If there are any headset issues like last time, we'll continue on regardless.
 
Thanks for the invites and the game. My first time playing GTA online and I really enjoyed it. I think I'm gonna have to get a mic though so I can play crooks and cops better - I had no idea what was happening.

The one session of cops and crooks that I got in was great. I saw someone was waiting for me in the boat. I was trying to swim over but My hand gave out on me and I got killed.

The rocket launcher death match was pretty good. DD83 and me were trying to have a prison knife fight but someone came out of nowhere and hit me.

When i could keep a connection the games we played were great. Hope to see you guys next GTA night. Hopefully I can a mic that works.
