You know, I actually rented Existenz a few years ago because some movie site said if you liked the Matrix then you'd like that movie. I was not impressed with Existenz.

Anyway, I think I may have come up with another Free Mode mini game: Demolition Derby

We could set up a game for the airport with the following options:

*Melee weapons ONLY
*Friendly fire OFF
*Cops OFF
Respawn NEAR

We could use the main runways as our arena or the parking lot outside of the airport or if you guys want to we could do it in Algonquin in "The Exchange"(Times Square).

For added difficulty if we choose to do it in The Exchange, we could have traffic set to HIGH, so the NPC's vehicles would be damaging our vehicles during the match as well.

Anyone up to try this during the game? If anyone wants to play test it before tonight's game, lemme know as I should be on early afternoon to try it out.

I play gta for fun. I guess not everyone is welcome to the high society that is cag gta night. Maybe if I go take some writing classes you dirtmerchants would understand exactly what I am trying to tell you.

New idea for a CAG GTA 4 night game(actually kind of a retread of the OJ one): Fugitive

It could be played during the first round of a Cops & Crooks match. One team would consist of ALL cops and the crook team would be 1 person.

Game would be played as follows:

*Blips: Near
*FF: Off
*Weapons: Weak(pistols)

The task is to apprehend the fugitive before they can reach the getaway vehicle. Basically, it's just C&C but with one man alone against the rest of the players.

Another potential version of this would be done with friendly fire on and with 1-2 players from the cop team choosing to betray their fellow cops(like I did with the gas station incident) in order to allow the crook(s) to make their escape.

Anyone have ANY opinions on these potential game modes....or the Demo Derby one at the airport or in Algonquin?
 
Personally, I'd also like to see how the second round of the C&C 'Fugitive" game would play out, with one cop versus a team of crooks. Whoever it was would have to be REALLY inventive to stop everyone else. :lol:
 
Alright, so my idea for the 'Fugitive' game mode didn't work out TOO well, but I would've made a hell of a standoff if they had an easier way for me to get outta the damn burning car.

Till the car caught fire I thought I was going to make a getaway, but sadly that was not the case. :(

GTA Race
^ Vehicle Class: Police | Everyone chooses a Police Cruiser or Police Patrol.
^ Track: Exhaust Fumes | 1 or 2 Laps
^ Weapons: Weak (Macgun, 9mm Pistol)
^ Traffic: Medium

Honor Rules
^ No one moves at the beginning of the race.
^ 1 person impersonates OJ and has to find a Pickup or SUV and returns to the starting line and gets a 10 second head start.
^ Only OJ can use weapons and has to reach the finish line to win. Cops can only ram OJ to death to win.
^ If OJ dies then the cops can finish the race. Whoever killed OJ is OJ the next round.

There's an arena that's perfect for demolition derbies somewhere West of the airport. I forget what that part of the city is called. I used to do this with another group of people, except no shooting at each other, and we'd have someone with a rocket launcher preventing anyone from re-entering. :D

The Ghostbusters game was only missing one thing and now some modder has delivered, except when will people learn that the siren is crucial?? I'd consider getting a copy just for that if it only had the siren and working lights.

I played through EVERY GTA game multiple times, but after finding the 'realistic' slant they put on this game and how shitty I still think the driving and drive-by controls are, I couldn't bring myself to play through the story mode a second time.

If they were going for realism this time around in the game, then how come Niko(or my online avatar) can pull multiple weapons out from behind their backs still?

C'mon now. The driving controls are like in real life now, but I can still pull an rocket propelled grenade launcher out of my characters ass right after shoving a shotgun back up there?

Anyway, I'm down for Wednesday night as usual. I'll bring my typical laggy connection. :razz:

Anyway I got comcast high speed internet with boost and am still getting accused of using turbo buttons and lag switches by people that suck.
I have a wired connection, a comcast modem, but I bought a cheap 40 dollar router. I am pretty sure Im not lagging and people just cry when they see me in a zone.

I was about 30% finished with the campaign in IV when I accidentally deleted my profile and lost my progress. I tried to start again recently, but I think I'm moving on to something else. Not sure if I'll ever buy another GTA game after this one.

I much prefer the driving controls in the older games from the series. I absolutely dread the missions in IV when you have to jump on a motorcycle.:bomb: I still say that San Andreas is the best game from teh series.

If they gave you the ability to swim and not drown in little more than a wading pool worth of water before San Andreas, then Vice City would've been my all time favorite.

Although the way it is I drove around for HOURS just listening to the classic 80's music and taking in the sights of what was supposed to be Miami in the 80's.

San Andreas had it's fun points though, like monster trucks, base jumping and the super bike jump trick.

what exactly are lag switches? ive seen this mentioned before a few times and it makes me wonder about some diff experiences ive had in gta4 and codwaw running into players who move in a jerky fashion. could these 2 things be related?

Well, as we all know, my connection sucks. So if someone else wouldn't mind playing host tonight, I'll switch back to GTA 4. Otherwise I'm going to play some Red Faction and decide whether or not I wanna return it before my 7 days from GS are up.

Why does it seem like every time Metaly is busy, CAG GTA night just doesn't happen?
