CAG Halo 3 clan for newer members (Registration closed for now.)

I agree. It's a shame that some of the best game modes, like infection, are custom only.
 
GT Frag Off Kindly, you either need to post in this thread or update your CAG profile with your gamertag info because I cannot find you registered on this site.

As for playing with people, yes you would have to add people as your friend to see them in game. But with this group organized, you have a central location to know who to send friend invites to as I've made sure everyone in the clan is a registered CAG member.

With almost 60 members now I think this is a good time to close registration down before things get out of hand. If Wombat, Shipwreck, or some other CAG VIP wants in of course we'll let them in, but I want to avoid what happened with the previous CAG Halo clans as much as possible (see the above posts which links to the Wiki entry on CAG Halo clans.)

I will start a couple of threads tonight on our bungie.net forum to see what people want to do Friday, nominate a couple of more people to be admins, and maybe schedule some daytime things so people like CheapyD have an option for playing with CAGs at a time other than Friday nights.

I know it says that I'm a "CAG Veteran" in years, but I don't have a huge presence on this website. (Although I am a CAGcast listener dating back to episode one.) Hence, I don't feel right nominating myself to assist you as an Admin, but in the event that no other more established CAG member steps up, let me know.

This idea was given to me by a couple of other CAG's. Basically, switch your Halo 3 service tag to C4G. Not only is it helpful in recognizing a CAG, but it confuses the enemy when teamed up with other CAG's so your best player can remain hidden at all times.

It would have to be C46. And IIRC, when two or more people have the same service tags, it assigns them a unique random one for the match.

I can't post on bungie.net while I'm at work because something on the site crashes my work computer's IE 6 when you sign into Windows Live ID, but xbox.com works fine?

First off my town is without power tonight so I won't be able to play, and I probably won't be free to play until Monday or Tuesday night (I'll be with RLF on Saturday and Bears are in primetime on Sunday night.)

Second, if CAG's mcgavin27, ahou, kromax, punk_raven, xeno, and aw004g (I think that was everybody) want to go ahead and put a request in on bungie.net I'll let you in the clan if Cheapy or ThatDamnDave haven't done it already by the time I get to a computer that will work on bungie.net. Kromax I will nominate you for admin status.
 
After a whole bunch of people flake out or there is drama in the clan because of it's casuals vs hardcore please let me join.

But I was in the Halo 2 clan for a bit and that seemed to happen pretty quickly in that clan. But while I did play it was a blast. So I'm just going to follow this thread till more spots open.

Yea, consider me interested as well for whenever the registration is opened up again. GT is Megaten, and I suppose anyone can feel free to add it even if it isn't just for the clan-related playing.

It was a blast. Tonight sounds good, I should be able to get through a level or two before my wife gives me that look that says "Thursday night is our TV night, tell your friend you're leaving or you won't see my naked body until 2K8."



If anyone is keeping score, this is the third thread in which I appear to be under my wife's control.


Oh, and Saturday is usually movie night.

I wouldn't mind joining a clan if there is one to be joined at all. Finding I like the team games more than I do the lone wolf stuff. Lone wolf just kinda annoys me :/.

I had a busy week with work and wasn't able to get on much last week. As a result, I missed some friend requests that came through. They timed out and disappeared before I could answer them. Again, I'm up for Co-op run through on Legendary with anyone. Shoot me a Friend request.

I should be able to get on around 9:30pm - 10:00pm CST.

I would but as frustrated as I was finishing legendary last night with my buddies(Cortana and Halo stages suck! >_

I beat Legendary by playing through the last two levels on my own last night, waiting (and hoping) for someone to send me a message that they were ready to go. As horrible as Cortana was on Heroic, it was brutal on Legendary. Anyway, if anyone sees me online, and Halo is in my tray, I'd be willing to help a fellow CAG'er out on any level.

I would also be interested on partying up for some slayer.
 
I'm also up for some campaign, send me a friend request. So far ive only played Legendary with 1 other person at a time, and its been really hard, I'd love to join a group :)

I played through the campaign 3 times and I must say that Co-Op makes this game replayable. Any game that has the option to include a co-op campaign and doesn't, for whatever reason, fails.

So now who is down for some Team Slayer sometime? :)

I agree with you that co-op makes the game replayable. My only complaint is that it isn't GOW style--where you can jump in and jump out, but I'm sure that Bungie, in its infinite wisdome has a reason for not allowing it.
