CAG Halo 3 clan for newer members (Registration closed for now.)

We need to get an official Halo 3 CAG clan going. I don't have the time to be an officer on anything like that though. I think anyone could start the clan, you just have to go to groups in your bungie.net profile and there should be a link for create new group.

I'm in the IGN 360 GB group so the create new group option is there for me and I could do it if its not available for others, but I would really like someone else to be the head person.

Edit:
Group name is CAG and the ID is 124494. Sign up through the Bungie.net website. Membership requires being a registered member of this site. Officers will be Linkin Prime, shrike, ThatDamnDave, CheapyD, Wombat, and Shipwreck once they join to help with the workload.

Looks like there were 2 already established clans from Halo 2, but for whatever reason, they didn't/aren't recruiting new members so if you want to join a CAG clan, come over to us. Our focus is to have fun and be halfway competitive, but not cut-throat in a MLG type of way.

With almost 60 members now I think this is a good time to close registration down before things get out of hand. I will start a couple of threads tonight on our bungie.net forum to see what people want to do Friday, nominate a couple of more people to be admins, and maybe schedule some daytime things so people like CheapyD have an option for playing with CAGs at a time other than Friday nights.

I think I played with you co-op in Halo 3 on Legendary. We both kept dying :(.

I'm up for it only I suck at multiplayer. Twin and I already changed the letter and number to C49 or was it C46. Oh well.

Yeah most of the people I have been on with have been from here. Tried to get a friend on last night that I went to high school with. Only he never accepted the invite. He was on with 2 others later playing normal on co-op. The guy just got the game but I hope he was just looking for skulls.

Anyway my nice 42 inch LCD HDTV just went out again. For the third time and again it was the light bulb in it. So its pay another 300 bucks to get a new one or through the tv out and get a new tv. If I get a new tv it will be a thin one and I go from 42 to around 20. So I wonder how it will be with a smaller screen. As of now till I get a new one or get a new buld I will play on a 15 inch. Let this be a lesson learned, don't buy from American electronics and Hitachi. 3 bulbs in maybe a year. Thats about 4 months each. Not even three thousand hours each when from what I have always been told they should last 50,000 hours.

You can't dispute it with your card co? A lot of credit cards have a faulty merch policy...you should check it out (if you already haven't)
 
I'm also in, if anyone else doesn't want to start this up I guess I could create it, but I'm really busy with work during the days and stuff so I can only play in the evenings here. So I am not electing to be president/leader or anything, only to get it started? How does that sound? Clan CAG?
 
How exactly does the clan system in the game work? Is it just a tag that gets applied to your name, or does it allow for easier partying with members of your clan / the ability to view which members of your clan are online?

Anyways, if anyone can make one please post it on here so I could join if possible.

There is no clan support in the game.
 
Ok I just created the clan since no one else wanted to do it. The group ID is 124494. You have to sign up through the Bungie.net website. Membership requires approval (ie being a registered member of this site.)

It may take a while for this to get going and I would like to designate some other people to have the authority to be officers or whatever. I'm looking at Linkin Prime, shrike, and ThatDamnDave as soon as you three are in I'll do whatever to make you officers.

Hopefully this can run smoothly.

If any other mod for this site I've neglected to mention joins, please inform me of your mod status and I'll make you an officer. Should Bungie implement clan support, the actual CAG clans are already around and ready.
