CAG League Sports: Madden 12 "JV League" - We Finished 3 Seasons! Thanks Everybody!!!
"I fucked up" doesn't really explain what happened though. But it's fine. I said I'd get over it. New day. I'm over it. I'd still like to play you since we've never played before, and I actually enjoyed my game as Miami last week. If you're available tonight at the same time (8 PM EST), I should be available. Weekends are much more flexible for me.
I pm'ed you, 8pm EST tonight works for me. PM me to confirm if you see this.
Sucked, I didn't realize Manning was out till around the 2nd half. I would have stuck to running the ball much more then I was. I was wondering why my passing game wasn't at least ok.

I'll switch to the Titans if that is cool. I'll have Chris Johnson muaahahaha
Yeah, I think that's fine. Unless Dark Rider decides to come back, of course. Without Manning, that Colts team is UGLY. I wouldn't wish that on anybody.
RAIDERS BEAT THE UNDEFEATED CHIEFS, RIOTS BREAK OUT IN OAKLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chiefs 23 raiders 30
This leaves only one last undefeated team and they have to play the packers next who shut them out in the playoffs

Dolphins - 28
Giants - 16

Battle of attrition in the rain at the New Meadowlands. Miami jumped out to an early 14-0 lead thanks to the running of Reggie Bush and Kendall Langford. The big 6'6" 295 defensive end scooped up a Peter Newcomer fumble and rumbled 48 yards with it for the TD. Not to be outdone, on the ensuing kickoff, Giants kick returner, Jerrel Jernigan returned the kick 99 yards to the house. Miami answered back with another long drive, culminating in a 4th and 1 with 1:13 to play in the half. Not taking anything for granted in these condition, the Dolphins again opted for hardnose football, giving the ball to their FB for his second score of the day. The Giants got a field goal in the final seconds and trailed 21-10 at halftime.

The second half was mostly defense, with Miami limiting the Giants to two field goals, pulling them to 21-16. With 3:22 left in the game, the Dolphins got the ball back and began to eat the clock. Though their offense had been stifled most of the 2nd half, Reggie Bush picked up some big yards...even after being injured twice in the game (HE PUT DA TEAM ON HIS BACK!), and Pat Devlin completed a few big first down throws. After the two minute warning, Bush came back into the game and broke off a 34 yard run to put the game out of reach. The Giants tried to rally, but Newcomer was picked off by Karlos Dansby to seal the deal.

GG, LV. I thought for sure you were going to come back when my o-line couldn't block anybody in the 3rd quarter.

Dolphins
Pat Devlin - 6-10, 101 yds, 0 TDs, 1 INT
Reggie Bush - 14 att, 143 yds, 1 TD, 1 rec, 20 yds
Charles Clay - 3 att, 5 yds, 2 TDs
Davone Bess - 2 rec, 44 yds
Brandon Marshall - 2 rec, 24 yds
Cameron Wake - 3 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF
Karlos Dansby - 4 tackles, 1 INT

Giants
Peter Newcomer - 7-20, 80 yds, 0 TDs, 1 INT
Ahmad Bradshaw - 7 att, 57 yds
Hakeem Nicks - 3 rec, 33 yds
Domenik Hixon - 2 rec, 22 yds
Antrell Rolle - 6 tackles, 1 INT
Marvin Austin - 4 tackles, 1 sack, 1 FF
If anyone needs a sub, I am available tomorrow morning.
What time? Doc won't be back until Sunday, so I need someone to play as Chicago.
Lvpatriots what happened? Thought we had a game scheduled for 930cst this morning where u at?
I know he is PST, so he may think its for that time. Hard to say for sure.

Good, exciting game right to the end. Poor Kaster, having to put up with Tebow's inaccurate arm. :(
Yeahhhhh, Tebow pulled a Kobe (6-24)

I'm in the market for an accurate quarterback. If anyone is looking to deal one, please, for the love of all that's holy, send me an offer.

Just a heads up - I am moving today and tomorrow, so I will be back and forth between two apartments (though they are in the same complex). I am probably moving my TV tomorrow, so I will try to be around tonight if we advance , if not, I wont be available until late Tuesday since my ISP is coming Tuesday afternoon and I work throughout the day. I will still respond to PM's on my phone so i will keep my opponents updated.

Texans- 23
Ravens- 0

Vikings- 34
Chargers- 24

I subbed for the Chargers game so it could get played. Shutdown Campbell through 5 1/4 quarters so that won the Texans game, and started off the Vikings game decent. Then I couldn't stop Adrian Peterson for the life of me and he went off for 294 yds and 4 TDs. I had a chance at coming back in the 4th quarter down 4 or so, I throw a pick to a guy that was 5+ yds in front of my guy that was wide open, and this pretty much was the end. He goes up another touchdown afterwards, I make a last second bomb catch it, hurry up, and then catch another pass with no time left to end the game.

Too bad both games weren't cumulative...lol

Thanks again for subbing guys and playing so well. I'll be back tomorrow in the league! So glad to be back.

Anyone else besides blade and I have new Vitas with MLB the show?

Looks like the only games left are

Steelers vs Browns
Packers vs Rams

I know Packers vs Rams is happening tonight, but was a time ever set for Steelers vs Browns? Ultimate Matt X, did you ever hear back from Matt Young?

I gotta say, I am a little concerned about LVPatriots missing another scheduled time with an opponent. What is going on here?

Packers 33
Rams 30

Rams fall again in a heartbreaking OT loss against NFC Champion Green Bay. After three costly turnovers in the first half, the Rams fell behind 16-0. St. Louis finally got some rhythm in the second to cut the lead 16-7, but then Aaron Rodgers, with his ridiculous arm, threw an 80-yard TD pass at the end of the first half to go up 23-7.

With its back against the wall, St. Louis clawed its way back, scoring a TD plus two-point conversion in the third and another in the fourth to tie the game at 23. The Packers answered with a TD of their own, and then the Rams drove the field once more to tie the game at 30 at the end of regulation.

It was clear that whoever won the toss would win this one, and unfortunately for me, pitfallharry won the toss.

SMH ... I just don't know how I was so successful last season and so abysmal this season. I'm really trying to vary my playcalling and feel like I'm finding a way to move the ball in any kind of situation. I'm just having horrible Madden luck this year. I turned the ball over FOUR FREAKING TIMES this game, and pitfallharry had no turnovers (despite several passes hitting my secondary in the hands).

Great game, though, pitfall. I guess I should be thankful I was even in this one after being down 23-7 in the first half.

Well, LVPatriots never promoted me back to Commish after our game yesterday. I messaged him letting him know he didn't need to do it right away (since he was watching a movie), but I'm guessing he forgot afterward. So, I can't advance us right now guys. I'm starting to think I just shouldn't have a secondary team so this shit doesn't keep happening.

Or assign a deputy commissioner who you're confident in and can rely on. ;)

EDIT: Damn, I ended my sentence in a preposition

LOL...I've considered that too, and that actually is a better idea. It just seemed so easy to say "hey, after I play you, promote me back." It's partially my fault though because I usually don't exit the game until after my write up, so that can be like 15-20 minutes later. I thought for sure an entire day would give him enough time though...and I know he played Madden today. I guess he just didn't think about it.

ya i wouldnt mind stepping up im usually always around and other than leaving on the 20th till the 28th im open to doing so afterwards. im sure kaster is also good for the job as well. hes one of the only other guys always in here

That sucks..it is going to make it very difficult to get my game in this week. I was really hoping to get it in early today. I would be cool with another commish but it would be nice if everyone could just take 2 seconds to help out.

Ok...I got a PM from LVPatriots about 2 hours ago saying "SHIT, my bad. I'll do it now." So, I get Madden loaded up and he still hasn't promoted me back. I'm starting to actually get a little pissed off now. It's ridiculous for it to take this long or to "forget" this many times.

All right, guys. We are finally advanced to Week 8! BV called him up and asked him to do it, so thanks to BV for helping us out there. Anyway, hopefully we can still have the deadline as the 21st since there's still a lot of time to play today.
BV called him up and asked him to do it, so thanks to BV for helping us out there.
My pleasure. LV is my brother, so it's not too hard to get in touch with him. ;)

Also, we have two openings in the other league: Jets (Ubernes is retiring ) and Redskins. Both have pretty decent rosters. PM me or post in the other thread if you're interested.
4-2 Colts are #1 and the 7-0 Panthers are #4. That sounds about right.
Yeah, I don't get how I put the Colts down 19-0 and they stayed at #1. That shit is ridiculous, lol. I thought for sure I'd help someone else out with the top spot. Freaking lame.

cowboys ranked number 2 have lost to panthers ranked number 4 panther zero losses and cowboys 2 loses lol hmmm

Texas - 24
Titans - 21

In a game which went to OT the Texans squeezed out a win on a game winning FG in OT. Chris Johnson absolutely dominated my defense and at one point I was Down 21-7. Schaub absolutely went off in the second half though bringing the Texans back in it hitting Foster on a streak up the middle as he was matched against a LB and three a strike to tie the game with 20 seconds to go.

Schaub - 24/38 and 355 yards, 3TD.
Daniels - 12 catches for 164 yards and a TD.

Eli Manning - 5/8 and 119 yards, 1TD.
Johnson - 22 touches for 132 yards and a TD.

As always good game Blade.

Pretty positive you were never down 21-7, I think we were tied at 14-14 at one point...

I am dropping the Titans as my secondary, I have just been playing way too much recently. I was playing Docs team, my team, a secondary team, and the main league team, and I subbed a couple of games. These last couple weeks have just been too much and are discouraging me from even wanting to play at all. I will still sub if I am available, I just don't want to be tied to a secondary team for awhile with as much as I have been playing cause it's burning me out.
