I started exercising routinely last fall (stationary bike and walking). When I started, I weighed in around 310 lbs. Today I weighed in at 259. My goal is to get down to 230, then see what I feel like from there. It's been a tough path to stick to, but well worth it.
Wow man - 50lbs. That's no joke. Ever try lifting a 50lb. dumbbell? They are heavy! Keep up the good work.
Javery, the yolk has half the protein
Gym wasn't bad tonight.
Squatted 135 2x5, 145 1x5, 165 1x5, 175 1x5
Bent over row 135 3x5
Bench 135 3x5
Dip 190 3x8
Bicep dumbbell curl 40 3x8
Isn't the yolk the bad part though? Cholesterol, etc? I'd much rather just have a normal scrambled egg for breakfast!
Looks like you are right back into it at the gym - those are some solid numbers. I bet it felt good. I've been lifting more but super-light weights. I did some straight bar curls this morning with 2.5lbs. on each side! I'm really trying hard to not balloon out and when I lift heavy I can get too big too quick - I have a pretty wide frame/broad shoulders, etc.
Gracias, senor. I've grown to understand why some women ponder breast implants. I've pondered having the fat layer surgically removed. I know I have bad-ass abs under it and it drives me nuts. I've worked years in refining my body but that darn layer stays put. And I've been on T for months and it still survives! What the heck. It's probably nuke-proof. This is what happens when I spend the senior year of high school eating entire cakes and pizzas, and stuffing my face with cheesy Quiznos subs. Grr.
I feel the exact same way about my midsection. I just can't get rid of that layer which is why I think people who are all ripped up have to be doing it unnaturally (not necessarily steroids or anything but at least some supplements). I'm at the point where I'd entertain a good recipe. When I was in my early 20s and ephedra was still sold everywhere it was much easier to maintain a six-pack - it was almost impossible to gain any weight.

EDIT: And damn you for being three years younger, Troy! That's cheating! ...

He's got 13 on me! Getting old sucks, believe me.
