Wow... seriously? No, he didn't say he counted it at all. There were 12 seconds remaining in the 3rd, and he had just scored to make it 14-3. It was a defensive battle, but I had a couple good drives, one ending in a pick six after I had gotten to the red zone, and another interception led to a touchdown from him. I definitely did not expect shenanigans like this.
 
Nobody commented on it, but I still wanted to mention this after re-reading what I wrote in post #889: When I said, "We didn't get that far", I meant in post-game discussions, not the game itself.

In order of whom Id wanna deal first

Todd Heap, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Derrick Mason, Kelly Gregg, TJ Houshmandzadeh, picks

Want: Younger secondary, Speedy WR's that are young, any rookies, possible draft picks. . . anything else that would make me want to trade ray rice if necessary.

Now that I thought about it again for a second while moving pictures off my SD card, I wonder why it even gave him the option to quit and count. I've had opponents who were kicked back to the lobby or had to reset their systems, and I was only given the options "Quit and Don't Count" or "End Game". Yet somehow I was still in the game while I was sending him those messages after it told him I quit, and I was able to back out to the league lobby without any problems.

That second game is a large enough margin where it's reasonable for you to ask for him to drop and let you play the CPU, though it's not necessarily automatic that he should have to agree. I agree you shouldn't have to settle for a sim though, so at the very least he should replay you.

Trade Submission:

The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to send Todd Heap (TE, 84) to the Chicago Bears in exchange for 2nd and 5th round picks in next year's draft.

Steggy drove a hard bargain, but I think we're both happy with this deal. Cutler's been great this season but I feel like he's been missing one more receiving threat, and now he has it. Plus, I can now run some pretty fearsome 2 TE sets. :D

In fact I'd like to trade Brandon Manumaleuna (TE, 76 OVR) for a similarly rated RG or C if anyone's looking for some TE depth. He's actually a pretty good player (good blocker too) but I prefer Heap as a pass catcher.

I would like to advance no later than 8PM today. Considering we only have one game left which needs to be played, I don't want to delay any longer than necessary.

Not yet. I pmed him this morning just to verify that he will be good to play this evening. His pm on Monday said he would be available to play Friday afternoon at the earliest, so I'm guessing there is a chance he might not be back tonight.
He's in my division in the other league and I've never had any issues scheduling with him so I'm certain he'll either be on to play this evening or I'll at least get a response to go ahead with a sub for him. I'll keep you updated.

Alright, concerning the Seahawks-Chargers game which was counted without permission following a disconnect: After considering it and discussing it with the parties involved I've decided there's not going to be any disciplinary action taken against the Seahawks this time around. I believe it was an honest misunderstanding, and he was apologetic and Matt is fine with letting it be, so that's what we'll do.

I would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone that this is expressly prohibited by league rules. If this is unclear, please take the time to brush up on our official disconnect policy:

Just because no punishment was applied in this case doesn't mean there won't be in the future, especially now that it has come up specifically in this league and I'm telling everyone again. To reiterate: No disconnected game should ever be counted as a win without the express permission of your opponent or the commissioner.

i wanna say yea but i cant guarantee it cuz i got the Ravens/Seahawks game in the other laegue AND i'm possibly subbing in this league. If time permits, i'm fine with playing tonight but i'm heading out around 8 so we'll see what happens. I may be able to push it back to 9 but i'd rather not.
 
At what time should I contact Deuce to sub-in? I want to wait for silent, but, if our game is holding up the league for almost 24 hours and we miss a full afternoon/evening of getting games in today, I could just play deuce now (who has a better overall record).
 
I'm usually all for advancing as quickly as possible, but if I'm not mistaken...Seattle still has a chance to make the playoffs this year so I think we should wait a reasonable amount of time for him to show up and play his game.

Edit: Crap lol I just mixed up the two leagues...it was bound to happen eventually...
