CAG Madden 11 League 2 - Season 2! Week 10 Deadline Sat night. TEAMS OPEN!

Alright guys we is advanced...Buccs over Colts, Bengals over Browns. Bengals are simming their way to an undefeated season so far...3 sim wins in a row lol.

New Deadline is set for Saturday night...we seem to basically be on the same exact pace as the other league, so I'm just gonna set the same deadlines unless we get off track.

I dont think he knows that's why he booted him but this week sucks for me I have a game in both leagues that don't have owners so should I just play tremor what

You should wait until bvharris or masterawesome instructs you to do what they deem necessary. You've got until Saturday night. You've got plenty of time.
 
I sent an invite to Kay last night immediately after I booted him but I went ahead and PM'ed him just now to explain everything and I also gave him the league info too in case he didn't get my invitation.

Shane who/what is "tremor"? Are you too busy to fit a game in tomorrow or Saturday? If you absolutely have to play today then we can work something out...
 
Also, your opponent in league 1 is: CAG: Tanabeo or XpG Tanabeo (on xbox)....Correct me if i'm wrong....but he's still an active member, may have just gotten booted temporarily (LIKE Kay) because he couldn't play the game before we advanced.
 
Ok cool Shane...don't worry, if something comes up tomorrow or Saturday and you aren't able to play...I'll at the very least just sim the game. I definitely won't boot you so your opponent can play the CPU...it goes a long way to show that you're trying to get your game in as early as possible.

Holy embarassment... I dropped a game to the computer in overtime. Sorry I couldnt wait for a sub, I was heading to my hometown after today to clean my old apartment and was unsure when I would actually be around this weekend. Oh well, lost anyways.

Only highlight was Fords kick return on a seahawks squib with under a minute to put it into overtime. Where I than threw a pick and killed myself. This just aint my week... everything is going wrong so far :/

He was online watching something on Netflix. I'm texting him now to find out what the deal is.
 
Cru invited me to a party chat last night, but I was in the middle of my game for the other league and my headset was acting funky anyway, so I didn't join him. Not sure what's up with him since he did mention being busy with personal stuff in one of the league threads.

Anyways, before he even gets here....i'd imagine he'd rather you play a sub instead of the cpu (easy wins and all)...... so i'd plan on making plans to play a substitute for (kay holiday) tonight.

I could be completely wrong.

Looks like Lexxon is going to be out for the weekend. Can anyone sub for the Lions at 6:30pmEST today? BV you will need to temp boot Lexxon as well.

You play each other next week in the other league, only he's the Vikings and you're the Lions. This does get confusing sometimes, lol

Kay holiday I was disconnected from xbox live for some reason sorry about that but if you can get back on sometime tonight because I might not be able to play tommorrow
 
RamesuThe1 wont be able to play until midnight or later tomorrow. I wont be up that late as I have things to do tomorrow and I don't want to call off my plans for a Madden game, so I am unsure of what to do about Eagles\Cowboys.

Injuries aside, I'll never for the life of me figure out how you get every single lucky break every time we play. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you don't play well, but I don't think a single bounce has ever gone my way in one of our matchups. I need a better rabbit's foot.

edit: To clarify, just so you don't think otherwise, I'm not saying at all that you're lucky to beat me. I'm just talking about the little breaks like that ridiculous CPU pick in the rain and the two strip sacks of Smith when my guys couldn't seem to tell the ball from their ass. Nothing cheap or untoward, just I can never seem to catch a little break to get the edge.

Gg lol...4th freaking injury on my team. 11 weeks too....damn.

I don't really recall getting any lucky breaks that game (not saying I necessarily didn't)...which ones are you talking about? That Goldson interception was pretty crazy but I wouldn't say it was lucky....he was at the right place and the right time. That's one of the bad things about deep lobs, it gives the safety a lot of time to adjust and run to the ball. There are a lot more ridiculous interceptions than over the shoulder catches. Defenders do crazy one-handed interceptions and most interceptions by linemen are pretty ridiculous (when the QB gets hit and the lineman picks it off 0.5 seconds after it leaves the QB's hands). I see a ton of over-the-shoulder interceptions (McNeill did one that game at the end too...those I see a LOT).

It's one thing to say that I've gotten every lucky break in these 2 game we just played recently (I'm not agreeing to that though), but to say I get every lucky break every time we play? I don't recall getting any lucky breaks in our most recent Panthers/Chargers matchup where you beat me pretty bad. I can't really recall any of our games before that...I don't think we've had too many.

And losing Patrick Willis and Taylor Mays for extended periods of time don't seem very lucky to me either :(
 
Those are the only three franchise games we've played, I guess I'm just talking about the two this season.

No, the injuries aren't lucky, that's why I said injuries aside. You've got to admit the momentum of this game completely turned on a dime though, and it wasn't as if my D wasn't still making plays (like the strip sacks I mentioned). Maybe it was more that you avoided any unlucky breaks.

And in both strip-sacks you mentioned, after your defender stripped Alex Smith, the only players around the ball were my own offensive linemen. I don't recall seeing any of your guys even close to it. I remember one of my guys diving 5 feet over the ball and it took 5 seconds for the other one to pick it up. That would have been complete BS if one of your players had gotten to it before my offensive linemen did lol. I see what you mean about avoiding unlucky breaks...but I'd say Frank Gore losing that fumble was definitely an unlucky break, and Alex Smith completely overthrowing 2 or 3 receivers back to back on that one drive was kind of unlucky too but not really since he sucks lol.

I do definitely consider myself lucky though since Alex Smith (a mediocre quarterback at BEST) should have been much more inaccurate in the rain. Roethlisberger was pretty accurate too but he's rated much higher so that should be expected. That was also really lucky when you got hit as you threw it and Bowman happened to be at the EXACT spot the ball sailed to lol. But that happens from time to time when you try to get a pass off while you're getting hit...a lot of those result in interceptions, I do that WAY too often. And although kickoff returns for TDs aren't necessarily "lucky"...that did kind of suck and definitely got some of the momentum going my way.

I thought it was a really good game though, our games are always so intense...that game was crazy. You scored 17 straight and then I scored 21 straight and that was the game.

And sorry Pacer I saw this kind of late...I wish you luck in the sim, but I have to warn you...Cru is a sim-winning machine.
