CAG NBA 2k7 Draft League: 5 Games Total Played by Sun 11/5

9pm is good. Is DST still in effect? Switching timezones and going halfway across the world so often has completely screwed up my sense of time.

And what happens if not everyone shows? Do they auto-draft, or are we screwed?

anyway, i'm not gonna set the draft in advance...just wanna make sure everyone who is gonna participate in the live draft is ON NBA 2K7 > XBOX LIVE > LEAGUES > MY LEAGUES > CAG DRAFT 2K7 exactly at 9:00 EST (use your cell phone too keep track of time since cell phone time is universal)...i will then set the draft for 9:15 EST just in case the draft starts immediately after i set it (i have heard that it starts the draft nomatter what time you set it, others say it actually does what it's supposed to and waits til that time to start the draft...i dont wanna take the risk...BE THERE at 9 PM EST!)

wth? I set up my pending players while I ate dinner and it didn't draft who I set. Is there anyway I could pick up a player from free agency? I looked and they didn't get drafted...

it would be awesome if you could exchange players in free agencey but you can't...and for pending players, they usually draft until you have one of each position no matter what order you pended the players, then it will do it in order after you have at least one of each player position type

I'm calling out the punk nijira (I think that is his name). I was stomping him by 45 points in the 3rd and he lagged himself out so the game didn't count. What a loser. Halftime score was 45-12 lol.. najira or nijira whatever your name is.. that was weak. loser

EDIT: okay almasy81 or whatever your name is, I did not lag myself out and I'm not even going to defend that because that's fucking stupid, I've wanted to be in this league for a few weeks just so I could cheat and piss off some other CAGs? Makes tons of sense. Why don't you PM me before you come on the board and accuse me of cheating? Yeah I'll play you again because you're in the league and I'm sure you'll get your 70 point victory, but I probably won't have to play you cuz crispy donut will boot your ass if you cheese against him like you cheesed against me. Read the rules next time asshole.

Nijira might have actually had lag issues tonight. I started a game with him after the draft and after he won the jump ball there was a connection problem and it ended the game.
 
lol cheese it up... how do you figure? Broke league rules by beating the crap out of someone? How does that work? In no way did I cheese. He has no offense, and no defense. Almost all my players where in double digits. I don't have a super human player such as Kobe or Lebron. If Pierce scores 25 on you you have some defense issues. I dominated on d and o. I don't understand how playing solid defense and solid offense is cheating. I pressed a little, but it is easy to press break, it isn't my fault he doesn't know how to switch to different players to inbound the ball. Grow some game before you accuse someone as being cheap. Also as far as the lag issue goes it is amazing how the game ran perfectly until the last 30 secs on the 3rd quarter. Whatever, you can defend him all you want.
 
Your team is also loaded with very bad ballhandlers. Horriable team imo. Is it my fault your team blows...nope. Indianfilm guy in what way is beating some one badly through regular defense an offense cheating? Also it also isn't my fault he doesn't know how to run different d sets or different offensive sets. I would understand if I played with Kobe and went off for 50+points which he can do even double teames so can areanas. Maybe you can teach him how to play Indianfilm guy.
 
My team is going to be hard to handle. Look at the board stats of my inside players. My overall team speed and my ballhandling. Really going to be tough to stop. Anyone who wants to avenge him...I will be on at 5:15est in the lobby. I can be beat look at my record 40ish -6ish...

That's cool, so we've got 3 Filipinos here. Renegade, I remember a thread you put up while you were in the Philippines a few years ago. I went there around the same time you did. I just came from there this summer actually.
 
look man win or lose i don't care, fuck it it's over i've never been in an "online fight" and this is seriously ridiculous. I'll let others in the league decide whether you cheese, and I'll play you again later, but don't fucking accuse me of lagging.
 
not an online fight... lol I dont' take it games seriesly ... I just thought you were lame to quit that way. Also the fact that you had to make an excuse for your lose saying I was cheesy..sure
 
alright, almasy, you have one warning...if i get one more complaint about you breaking the "sim" rules, then you're out...but for now, you are still in...just try to play in a way that people would call "sim"

EDIT: however, since i did not have the rules up yet before you played the game, i will not hold you accountable for that game...plus the game didnt register anyway...

so, just remember everyone to visit the website as frequently as possible and check the rules, read the trading block, respond to trade offers, post contact information, post when you can play, etc. etc.
