CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]

Just found out there is a small console repair shop 2 minutes away from my apartment that is selling refurbished PSP 2000s for $80, I might just go pick one up sooner than I thought...
 
I say we all buy UNO and play that instead of RFG. Now if only we'd get Catan or Carcassonne.

Since Mod Nation Racers beta is up in the UK store, anyone else going to download it? Maybe play that one night?
 
prolly wont be on tonight unfortunately. internet has gone out a total of FIVE TIMES today dude to the crazy on and off southern cali storm stuff goin on. have fun :\

or maybe ill show until it dies again. well see.
 
so y a. guess since my internet died during that game, im done. dont wanna screw over teammates or anything. play some mw2 so doesnt matter if d/c :\

Uno is a kick ass fun card game... though, for me, most card games don't translate well into a digital form... so who knows why I was trying to get people to buy it. :lol:

Also, I'm more interested in just about anything over ME2.

You know, I really really enjoy terrible films, I can usually laugh my way through pretty much any film, so it takes something really special for me not to be able to sit through it, which brings me to this... Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun-Li

Wow, OMG, this film is just unwatchable. I gave it about an hour and had to turn it off. When I saw Chris Klein getting second billing I smilied knowing I will get lots of terrible acting to keep me happy. Too bad he has literally 2 scenes in the first hour :cry:. Nothing fucking happens in the first hour outside of a 2 action sequences, that's unacceptable. The only part that got me laughing was this sequence:

Gen: Why are you angry?
Chun-Li: Because your hurting me.
Gen: I'm not hurting you, your hurting yourself.

Sorry to rant, but its not like this is a stickly a thread about RF:G ;).
 
Have you seen "The Wild World of Batwoman"?

That is the worst movie I've ever seen... EVER. Even MST3K didn't help much. My brain literally hurt after watching that.

I enjoyed it, its a really fun game. Hard to explain, its basically a puzzle version of mario where you can reverse time.

Braid is great. I beat it on 360 when it came out, bought it during the Steam holiday sale for PC (and I'm a Mac user), and I just bought it on sale on PSN. Takes a special kind of game to induce triple-dipping (or a person with compulsive game-buying issues).
 
Hah man, I simply cannot wait for Mass Effect 2!

I'm currently trying to power a Paragon Vanguard through ME1 so I can import him into ME2 tomorrow night. Dunno how I am going to pull this off since I have like 8 hours of game left to do....
 
I thought I read that you can change classes on your imported ME1 characters.

I probably won't be there tomorrow unless you guys are playing pretty late.
 
I've got another inventory in one of my PA stores tonight so I won't be able to play, unfortunately.

You can change classes, but my only Paragon game was my first character which was an infiltrator.... and you know that class sucks ass in ME1.

And because it sucked, I don't think I did all the side quests, and on top of that I don't think I made all the BIG DECISIONS the way I wanted.

Well on that note we're going to need someone to volunteer to handle hosting duties as I've just been unable to do so for the past 3 weeks now. I will also be on kind of late since I need to complete this Mass Effect character I'm working on.
 
I don't think I will be around for either tonight or thursday :cry:. How long does it take to get confirmation emails from the rf:g site? I tried creating two accounts and haven't gotten an email for either one. I really could use that 4870 too...

Mine came rather quickly. When I entered, there were only two comments before mine.... I hope the rate of entry remains at a glacial pace..... ups the chances of winning.

Not sure if I'll be making the game tonight.... hopefully I will.

Unless you're really set on finishing your playthrough, you can also just create a new character and it lets you check off a list of how you handled each decision. I'm definitely doing that instead of finishing the game with my lesser four characters.

Edit: Got that last info from Penny Arcade and they've now posted that it's wrong. Great!

Hmmm I might have to think about doing that Metaly. It depends on how much progress I make on my Vanguard today. Lets see if I can git 'er done.
