I'm for WKC if someone else is playing and invites me, but otherwise it's a shelved game.

White Knight Chronicles is the worst game I've played this generation, and I own Ninety-Nine Nights and Metal Gear Portable Ops.

I have zero problems with any foreign language films, in fact I have a framed poster of a French film hanging on my wall right now.

I wanted to be nice, but WKC is a slab of ass served with a heaping side of ass, covered in a gravy made of ass, with a glass of fine ass to wash it down.

You guys talking about the single player, or the multiplayer? Cause the single player was like Episode 1. Multiplayer is a lot funner. Kinda like BC2! :D

Oh and @freaky... You didn't know how to heal when you started playing...
 
I'll be showing up for Allahs final beatdown tonight. Not sure if i'll be able to get any Mod Nation in. Haven't really played it yet. Kinda like WKC.

On a side note. I'm almost out my mafumofu garb.
 
I'm new to playing this game online and I read the first page. So, how do I join the game tonight? Do I get an invite? Do I have to search for a specific match?

I don't remember which site I originally suggested...here's a few from my bookmarks that I refer to regularly:

AllRecipes.com (most are vegetarian, not vegan)
The Veggie Table (again, mostly vegetarian but easily adaptable)

I love Delicatessen. Jeunet and Caro are two of my favorite directors ever. Have you seen The City of Lost Children? It's excellent. I have the poster for it hanging in my bedroom. What's the poster you've got?

I'm a big fan of modern French cinema, actually: La Haine, Nikita, District B13, Irreversible, Cache, Amelie, Au Revoir Les Enfants, Belle de Jour, The Battle of Algiers, and on and on. All great movies.

I'd get it if you and Mr. B are planning to. I was also surprised to see it's $30, especially since I think Tetris DS was only $20. But they also only made like 10 copies of Tetris DS, so maybe $30 will look like a bargain in a few months!

guy makes me look bad. i do everything in good fun and good taste (or at least you all know me well enough to know that). but this guy is just [weird]. seems to take the stuff seriously in the PMs he sent me. and even if he doesnt take it seriously, crosses the line a bit by PMing someone you dont know and making strange jokes.

Hey, don't look at me. Cheapest has been leeching the internets the world over. ;)

I think the issues with my internet connection have been resolved for the most part, since I now know what causes the seemingly random disconnects. It's my system that freezes that's the problem. I'm going to have to buy a Slim to fix that, I guess. :/

Wouldn't a more appropriate comparison be "GodBomber" or "ElohimBomber" or "YahwehBomber"? Since Allah is just a word/name for the Christian/Jewish/Islamic god, not a nationality nor a religion.

Good races, Randy. Unfortunately my connection started acting up so I decided to call it quits (after browsing through tons of mods). I'm pretty amazed at the quality of all the custom tracks I've seen so far. Even the ones I didn't care for as much were still pretty fun. More people should get this game!

I used to have freezing issues on some games. You might wanna try running Restore File System from the PS3's safe mode menu before grabbing a slim PS3.

Here's a link to a site to tell ya how to do it:

Just be sure to back up any saves/files you might not want to lose, as the restore file system thing may delete those if they come up as being the corrupted files that're causing the freezing issues.

I had Red Dead Redemption freeze once on me and since I did the restore file system thing it's even solved the framerate/slowdown issue the game had on my system.

Yeah, that was a lot of fun. Those dudes were pretty cool, too...I snagged almost all of the tracks they loaded up for future reference.

No worries about leaving...I was getting pretty tired at that point.

I definitely think more people (people that I know, anyway) should pick up the game. Having all of the GFB folks in a race would be a freakin' blast!

Metaly and I were discussing the load times last night, actually. They're not that bad. The game definitely HAS load times but I think the length of them has been greatly exaggerated (lol). I've never found myself bored or angry during a load screen...they're pretty zippy considering how much work is going on behind-the-scenes.
