CAG/PS3 Red Faction: Guerrilla Night [Thursdays @ 10pm EST]
I saw a disturbing side of Randy tonight... the side that shoves a man's face into a paper shredder. :whistle2:#
I hear a lot of his managers see that side of him quite often.

Awesome. :applause:
You mean before White Knight Chronicles night tomorrow?
THIS

And I have a different friend code: 2279-0390-6648

Just added both of your friend codes.
Wait...which one is your Tetris FC, Mr. B?
The second one: 2279-0390-6648

I grabbed the wrong DS when I put the game in the first time.

Also, just played some and already I have some minor complaints, but its still tetris so its awesome.
Mister B & DD we playing WKC tonight?

(yay legitimate reason to bump this thread!)
If psn is up by then...

I think it's already up...
I think I might go finish my second playthrough and open the chests I missed until you guys are ready to play.

BONER.

Unless it's as as much of a rehash as City Folk, in which case ANTI-BONER.

Although the mere fact that it would be portable again could get me interested. SEMI-BONER.

By the way I'll be on PSN/Tetris in about 20 minutes if you or Mr. B want to play for a bit.

I played Wild World fairly obsessively for the first year or so that I had my DS but I couldn't get into City Folk or even the original GC version. I'm wondering now if that was an isolated, one-time affair or if a new portable Animal Crossing would reignite my passion for the series. I would kill to be able to somehow transfer my character (and my hard-earned bells) into the new game.

So, around 9:30 EST for Tetris? I can do that.

1980s
Crazy Train -- Ozzy Osbourne
Here I Go Again -- Whitesnake
I Love Rock and Roll -- Joan Jett
Just Like Heaven -- The Cure
Rainbow in the Dark -- Dio
The Power of Love -- Huey Lewis and the News
Sister Christian -- Night Ranger

Dammit, my love/hate relationship with Harmonix will continue with Rock Band 3.

I never tried the GC Animal Crossing, but I had friends who were obsessed with it and they seemed to have the same reaction to ACWW that I had to CF. So, I'm a little paranoid about the next installment.

And while it is really early to be speculating about the next AC based on just a rumor, I'm sure a 3DS version is inevitable. It's gotten me 1000% more interested in Nintendo's press conference this year, at least.

...

What's this Rock Band 3 business now?

Just Like Heaven -- The Cure
A co-worker informed me today that the new Guitar Hero is going to have Fascination Street by The Cure, which is easily one of my Top 5 Favorite Songs Ever.

I might need that.

I played the crap out of Wild World for over a year but when I bought City Folk I just never got into it at all. Sounds promising though.

So umm yeah, lots of new stuff in here...

1. Much faster combat
2. Dual wielding swords
3. Charge up attacks
4. 400 new armor/weapons (I think that's what its saying lol)
5. 6 person online co-op! (Hopefully the quests scale or we find more people)
6. Customizable knights for online
7. New attacks for all weapon types
8. UI tweaks (selected attack is now larger & highlighted, not just highlighted)

Here is a second video which is more gameplay less japanese text

That's kinda lame... it better come with a free option to change your character since they now allow the different races... or did they before, just not the little bunny guys?

Randy probably has vertigo from his eyes rolling if he watched those videos.

Also, did you noticed the "Lvl 63" on that one weapon? Must be a big level cap increase.

Am I seeing that right? Comes out in July or August in Japan? Hopefully they don't take as long to localize as they did for the first one.

Hopefully we'll have TRW with us for WKC2. I am going to be so much hotter in the sequel. Also taller.
YEAH.

Oh yeah. Game night.
BUMP-OS!
Yeah, that is weird
I wasn't... honest. I was talking about zen's avatar... honest.
We thought the wife had told you "No more gaming with those hooligans."
Nah, I just had a friend visiting and didn't really game much (outside of playing Borderlands w/ him) while he was here.

I'm done for tonight because of all the connection issues. I think we had some of the closest-fought games ever during the first hour though.

Glad you left MrB, we got a bunch of games afterwards. Probably still be playing but we all got dropped, well, I did anyways.

Was that the vegetarian friend that you had mentioned? What did you end up feeding him?
New RFA trailer in honor of game night!

http://community.redfaction.com/content/red-faction-armageddon-e3-2010-trailer-1
Nice. Didn't seem to offer anything that last week's trailer already did but it certainly looks pretty.

Yeah the vegetarian friend indeed. Actually it was pretty interesting having him over since it inspired me to try a vegetarian diet for a while. It is something I've been thinking about for years so finally doing it was great.

Some of the meals I prepared were vegetarian varieties of some personal favorites like butter chicken with paneer instead of chicken, cheese enchiladas w/ various peppers replacing the meat I also tried making some eggplant parmesan casserole, and a pretty incredible cheesy potato soup.

I've actually continued to cut out 95% of the meat I usually eat and it has been pretty good so far. I might actually just go completely veg soon.

Metaly, are you around tonight? Up for some Splinter Cell?

I used to cook with paneer a lot when I was a vegetarian. It's one of the few cheeses that are made without rennet...hooray for no cow stomach mucous! Saag Paneer is still one of my favorites...I just use tofu in place of the paneer. The taste and texture are fairly identical.

Congrats on cutting your meat intake...I'm a big advocate of that, obviously. ;) I remember noticing a huge difference in my mood, my energy level, my skin quality and, um, my libido when I went veg. I also lost about 40 pounds in the first 3 months. Just be careful that you don't find yourself eating cheese 3 meals a day!
So thinking of making an impulse purchase on a 32gb Zune HD ($228 on Amazon!). I know there's a few people here with them, so convince me!
I have a 120GB Zune and I'm a big fan. I've had Ipods and Creative Zens in the past and the Zune is by far my favorite DAP.

I love the device, love the software, love the Social, and I love love love the Zune Pass.

Freaky actually has an HD so he's probably better equipped to convince you to buy that specific model.
