CAG PS3 Unreal Tournament 3 Night [On Indefinite Hold]

Do you guys still do this every Monday? I just got this game last week and I'd like to get in on this if I could! :D

Yep every Monday. You should join us. I think a couple of us are going to play Thursday when the Titan pack comes out,but that hasn't been confirmed. xD

Yup we still play it. Going almost a year strong! With all the maps, this is going to be a game that's played INDEFINITELY
 
Awesome! I think I'm already set with the maps and mods, I have about 60 installed. And today I tried playing with the mouse for the first time ever in my gaming history but it just felt weird o_O
 
make sure you get the mod browser CBP as those are cooked for 2.0. If there's a 2.0 cook you want to have that one as we need uniformity.

Hey, I've had plenty of good runs and kill counts, and there's never been a kb/m hooked up to my PS3 ;)
 
I dunno. I think it's going to be with the PSN store update so it won't be on till later tonight.

Ah, I didn't realize that was how they're handling it...I assumed it would just be an auto-update/patch kind of thing.

If it's going to be in the store that means that people will have the choice of NOT downloading it? Seems kind of weird to me.
 
Why the hell does everyone keep calling me Luis? I can understand it from the Mexican side as it does sort of slip out as LUIS but I expect better from you Americans :p

Titan Pack is up, but the regular PSN store update doesn't show just yet. go into and out of a few menus until you see an UTIII ad block on the front page of the store.

556MB. Somethin' like that.
 
ahh. so it is on PSN..thats weird that they didnt just auto update it. altho, i suppose it wouldnt be required since its just a mod.

d/ling now...only getting 100KB tho...weak :(


EDIT: Titan add-on now listed under New Releases.
 
one of my friends already has it downloaded. I'm like HOW did you get it so fast? Damn speediness. I want it now. I'm only 23% done getting it. USE ALL OF MY INTERWEB CAPABILITIES PSN STORE!
 
Yeah, I'm STILL trying to download it, and it took forever before I could get on PSN. I kept getting those stupid 807something errors.
 
Got into the Store once, clicked on the Titan Pack, and got an error message. Restarted my PS3 and now I can't even get into the Store.

Weak.
 
I'm thinking of hosting another game tomorrow. So many people joined that were not only from CAG, but my own friends who wanted to get in on the fight. I think at the very end, I had over 200 people join my server in a little over two hours. Not bad considering how dead Unreal Tournament 3 was a few months ago.
 
Is it just me or do some of the weapons look like they've been touched up? Maybe I'm just expecting changes so I'm hallucinating or imagining it.

Hopefully CAG interest will be big enough that we can get some nice, large games going. And to any newcomers, I implore you, use a Shaq-fuing headset. Without communication between teammates you may as well be playing against bots in single player. Seriously.
 
I got out of work late so just passed yesterday, I'll try to take care of the titan pack today, unless something else comes up...
I should have my headset the next time i'm on, I actually left it charging this time for once...

I thought the exact same thing about the weapons and a few other things. At first I thought maybe I just think they are since I heard there was tweaks to the game. I recently started using my headset, and honestly I play better when I don't have it on. =/

That's because you're being thrown off by holding a button to talk. Especially when you're using a dual shock. I find that it actually helps since playing capture the flag, I can tell my team mates where I am, how many people are coming after me, or them, where to possibly aim, and how to position themselves to get the flag if I die and it needs a quick pick up.
