CAG PS3 Unreal Tournament 3 Night [On Indefinite Hold]

Nice games tonight lads. Pretty fun. I'm guessing my mic was only working in one direction again? I could hear everyone perfectly, but either you couldn't hear me or ........... I was being ignored. :whistle2:#

while i consider adding that map, i say we save DM for another week. so then is it TDM, war, or bombing run for this week? I vote war because if we get as good a turn out as we did last week, we can actually play against each other instead of stupid bots :)
 
Yeah. Lets sign up for EL WARO. Though I think all the maps in the mod browser should be required as they have some warfare maps in the mod browser now.
 
you know what could be interesting...warfare and titan...save up ure titan until the core is open (if the game even lasts long enough) i you can waste on it mad fast :p
 
I guess I'll download the maps in the mod browser today... I don't know how serious ya'll are about keeping this attendance since I'm not thrilled about downloading so much for a game that I play once a week so I may be alone in this, but I'm not even thinking about downloading any files not listed in the mod browser.

awww come on, theres only 3 maps it only takes a few minutes. without the extra maps, it would be boring playing the same stuff :(
whats gonna happen when we play bombing run, that game moves so fast that you need all the maps and its not on the mod browser. its much a great game tho.
 
Someone should tell metaly that we're playing Warfare...he used to hop on for that in the past.

Maybe we should include the gametype in the thread title?
 
I'd love to join, but I promised my friend I'd Co-op with him for RE5. However, I got a question. How do you know if an online campaign is Insane difficulty?

It goes from difficulty to RAPEICULTY. That's how you know.

im totally against opening the game unless absolutely necessary. since its warfare, having fewer people is ok. if it was deathmatch then ya we would probably have to. so lets see how many we get first ok? i think other people also feel this way about having an open server. cags are just less douchy :p

Alright. If we can get eight people on then we won't need it. I'll invite a few friends if we're under the numbers and they're on. However, if we don't have enough, we'll open the server for the week. I'd say numbers are more important on Warfare simply because of how big the maps are and the territory that must be transversed.
 
I'm against it, too, esp. since Warfare requires communication and teamwork. Random people are less likely to have headsets, it's like having bots on our all-human team, and it sucks.
 
decent turnout this week. next weak will probably be deathmatch. there will be two new maps also. im still deciding which to add. ill try to never have more than 5 required downloads per week for any new people that join. (5 not counting the CBPs)
 
unfortunately our only other option is hone and hes a douche nozzle and never shows. if i would have known that was gonna happen, tonight was a rare night where i could have actually had hone host.

lulz, make sure you tell us that kinda stuff from now on, default game time is minimum 1.5 hours :p
 
I know it's a shitty thing, but I can leave the PS3 up as a dedicated host when I leave. The speed will be better. Anyone want to host the week after next? I got finals all that week. Then after that, I'm free. For the summer anyways.
 
Nope. Freaky dropped too. And why hate the variety of the maps? They help keep the game always fresh and on your toes.

I wouldn't say that. I could put up a dedicated server on that day. I won't be playing, but I could still host a server which has a better connection speed and less lag.

the problem is, sometimes we need to make changes which is why its nice to have the host around. i dunno, you and randy can figure it out :D

whatever you two decide, i need to have your server map list that includes no more than 5 custom maps (non mod browser, cbp, etc) so i can get them listed in the op. thanks.
 
I dropped after we finished the game on the beach....I haven't really played warfare before, didn't know what to do...and I didn't have my mic on today...oh well, maybe next time we play, I know by then...later

its king of the hill basically. but sometimes you have to capture certain points before you can get others. to know which, just look on the minimap for the node flashing yellow. some maps also have a node that youll see on the map has no lines connecting it, these are bonus nodes that give different things for capturing them. like one map has a "tank" node, you can guess what it has, another map a "flood gate" node that floods the enemy base and damages their core if you hold the node long enough. :)
 
required maps for next week are set. the unlinked maps will have links tomorrow night. as soon as the links are up, i recommend not putting off installing them, or else youll probably forget until gametime :p

and shrapnel, you wont regret spending 5-10 min installing these, theyre pretty good and look nice

everyone else, feel free to send me map suggestions, whether from the mod browser, or otherwise. im always open for that. just make sure its not already in my limbo list ;)

I really think you all are going to enjoy Babylonian Nights. Very nice level with a lot of area to fight in. Though it's going to need at least ten players to make sure there's enough people going around the level otherwise it's too big.
