Dead Space 2 + Severed DLC ($7.40 a share)

Zuttasoxx changed the password for this share and i've given it a brand new password. It doesn't seem any of the original slot holders have sold their shares, so i'll shoot you guys pms momentarily with the new password.

Hmm so if i understood correctly, you can deactivate remotely only ALL systems every 6 months. So basically we can exploit this to share an account to 4 People : 2 of them activate, then we deactivate, and 2 others activate and keep their spot for 6 months ? Better than the renting system i've read here if you ask me.

Somebody tested if an account has 5 activated account if you can deactivate and reactivate? Also somebody found a way of how to identify your own ps3 on qriocity site?

CAG name is "better" (less worse, really) than your psn ID. Putting the latter is equivalent to calling Sony and saying "fuck you, I gameshared and I still will, here's my PSN username" LOL

Here, i believe, is an accurate list of the current slot holders for the Splinter Cell share with stolen slots:

5. NSYNC (Original slot holder) - ACTIVATED

If i'm mistaken, please correct me. I'd like to ask each person to contact me for the new password

I already told Heavyd814life what I'll use to identify my PS3 in the future. I didn't use either and went for a third option.
 
So PS+ groups are literally wasted money now? Never did like that program. Sorry, for everyone that gameshared that and UC3 Fortune Hunter DLC.
 
Are all ps plus content reduced to two accounts immediately? Or are the pre-Nov 18 downloaded content still 5 slots? Either way I can't really test this until next week.

It won't protect your account from anything.

However, if you are not connected to the internet how is your PS3 ever going to know that it was deactivated?

If the game does not need to be online to play then you are safe with no connection

For the love of God! People, please stop changing the password for shares you did not host. If you are worried, contact the host and have him change the password. I hosted this share - i'm sending you a pm right now
 
So I know I'm a bit out of the loop on this, but where is everyone finding the info about the changes that just happened? It's not on the playstation blog, and I just want to make sure I'm not going to lose everything I just stocked up on. For the time being I guess I'll just disconnect my system from the internet though, just to be safe.

Delete that persons name
Enter the new name
Change the subject

So if someone changes the password does that mean the stuff downloaded on that account wont work on my system, or does it just mean I wont have the password to sell the stuff once I'm done with it? This is where my confusion is coming in right now.
 
It means you can't sell your stuff or download it for the moment. You better hope you have it on your HDD, because people are taking it upon themselves.

To be fair I did contact everyone who owns a slot, told them about the information because I had been sold a slot that been sniped before I purchased it. I agree in general you shouldn't move hosts, but I had informed everyone and I went through most of the trouble figuring out information that jlazenby1 didn't even know. I figured if there was a sniper I could locate him/he by reducing the number of people who know the password.

Also I agree, please do not change the password if you're not a host. That makes things much more confusing.

Thanks. It sucks if I wont be able to resell it again, but it's a relief to know I wont simply lose the content. I'm stocked up well, so I don't see myself selling anything anytime too soon.
 
You can sell again if you track down the host. Unfortunately, they don't all post here everyday. As a third party, it was a pretty selfish move. You should have just as much access to the account as the person that decided their security was more important. Now you have to worry about host, scammers and the unknown.
 
Got a question guys. A little confused and I'm sure many others are. I just checked some slots and the passwords have been changed, no surprise their. My thing is I have 16 accounts full but i have a few more slots out their and I wanted to delete an account so I can check on the others. If I do that or deactivate an account does that count against the group as far as the 1 time every 6 months or against me and I cant activate again for 6 months or is the 6 month policy only for the all accounts at once deal. I'm really confused about that and if I do deactivate account does that mean the slots go from 5 to 2 or? I wish I could get a quick reply cause I really want to check on those other slots to see what's up with them. I just don't want to do anything hasty and ruin it for others in the group. Thanks so much.
 
If you deactivate an entire group, it'll still be five. If you deactivate on your PS3, things stay the same but you open yourself for sniping. Use Qriocity instead.

The once every 6 months Deal is the inactivation of all slots. You cAn deactivate you own slot any number of times you want.

What you can do is delete the profile of the psn accounts you know the password to. That does not deactivate the account from your ps3 na dit prevents purists sniping your account. You should be able to add the psn account back after you check all your account.
 
I completed one sale, but have another one pending my deactivation, their activation. Not gonna be happy if someone tries to "help" me, haha. The host barely comes on CAG anymore.

I know this is a retarded question, but if you sale a account. Deactivate it and someone else activates it. Does that still work correctly?

I haven't read though all the post so I was wondering.

I also wondered if you log into a certain gameshare account if that screws up anything.

and why are you saying that? I ALWAYS check my PMs, and if I don't reply it's because I forgot, or because I'm on most often at nights...
 
 
This is getting chaotic.
People, calm down.
Everything is going to be fine.
Don't randomly change passwords/reset all ps3 activations
(protecting yourself + screwing everyone else over).
There is risk in gamesharing.
If you can't handle it, then buy the game at full price for your primary account.
 
Ok guys thanks for the help earlier. But here is a problem I have come across. Some host are refusing to give up the new passwords because they are afraid of what might happen later. I'm agreeing on that to a degree as long as other members in that share agree as well. I think we need a new system in place and I have a 3 step system that could possibly work if everyone agreed. This is just an opinion so please don't bash. Just trying to help all those who are afraid of the future.

1. Host has password to the share (but also should be held accountable for what happens thereafter)

2. If someone decides to sell their share it must be brought before the group for a vote. (That way we can keep trustworthy individuals in and scammers and the sorts out, or make it easier to identify who "the bad guy is")

3. And for the ps plus groups who are in a long term share and now reduced to 2 games forward on an account, The 2 people who get all the ps plus extras must give a partial refund to those who are unfortunately out of luck. Or set up a system where the 2 activations can be shared time wise with the other members so it is fair to all those involved.
