Definitely get a Wii. Tonnes of solid exclusive titles and they are pretty cheap (and will be even cheaper when Wii-U launches. You can mod it to emulate all NES, SNES, N64, GB, etc, etc games. As well as foreign games for those releases that don't come Stateside. It's definitely under-appreciated, likely merely to the marketing targets and non-HD, but it's got plenty of titles worth playing.

Would someone be please kind enough to let me know if Counter Strike GO has any restrictions playing online with gamesharing? or is it like every other game where we can play online no problems?

You just have to start finishing more games, those 0% games kill your percentage lol.

ha ha, yes crackerjacks are pretty delicious :) Well, in my experience, the ' classic controller ' pro had to be attached to the wand or whatever the thing is called instead of a standalone controller. By this, the controller would always have a very loose connection because the wand had to always be in sync with the bar. This killed the momentum and feel/experience with any game i would play...
 
Maybe there has been a wireless standalone classic controller developed since then?? i'd be stoked if this were the case. But the old classic controller pro had to be connected to the wand which was such a dreadful experience sadly

I enjoyed Mario Galaxy 2 a lot more, and I'm not the biggest Mario fan to begin with(blasphemy right?)

I was all about Zelda/Metroid.

Get the Classic Pro Wii controller and just use the wrist strap to hold the wiimote to your wrist. For games:

Monster Hunter Tri (an acquired taste, and I still play this a few times a month)
Xenoblade
Last Story (maybe, I haven't actually played it yet)
Opoona (strange RPG)
Punch-Out!! (especially if you played the original)

There's probably a few more.

On another note, I wasn't able to get any LoL codes at PAX. They are apparently going to sell the one they were giving away on the store, so it's not exclusive like the previous years.

Yeah, the Classic Controllers do attach to the Wii Remote but I guess that never really bothered me. You don't have to have the remote synced to the sensor bar or anything though, it can be completely ignored while you use the Classic Controller just as you would with any standard controller. I do think there are also third-party wireless "classic-style" controllers but I'm always suspicious of the quality in such cases.

And for Turk:

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a great game. You should also get the Galaxy games though, they are incredible. A few more recommendations that haven't been mentioned (if you can find Metroid Prime Trilogy though, GET IT):

turk, play Metroid: Other M imo it was pretty cool and I liked it. Madworld is pretty good also. Red Steel 2, Kirby: Epic Yarn and Donkey Kong Country Returns and for Gamecube games: Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Wind Waker, and MGS: Twin SNAKES!!!

You can play G in the US, I do almost every day.

Edit: I should say it is very easy to be able to play it on a US console.

If i ever get through my Gamecube and PS3 backlogs, i'll definitely pick up a Wii. There are about a dozen truly amazing exclusives i'd love to play.

I know that feeling. There are some truly great Wii games out there I'd like to try but I'm still trying to take down my PS3 backlog. Which this thread isn't helping by the way lol
