I updated the master list. I sent out PMs to some to update their info, and I greatly appreciate those who did it.

Anyway, I'm thinking of (before Warhawk night on Saturday) have CAG Resistance 2 beta night. Since the online works pretty well, I think we can make a CAG night work.

I doubt it's necessary but is there a Little Big Planet night? I don't see it as a need, but if people would want it. something like collaboration nights or something.

Since LBP is a little personal, many prefer to not play with those they don't know so well, and would prefer playing with friends. I leave LBP up to friends, like I've done with other games. The most I can do is maybe some sort of match making type thread (getting people together who are available during a similar time to be friends).

I had no problems playing Competitive, Cooperative, and so on. If I log in during the early morning time or late in the evening, that's when issues occur, but during the day it's fine. SOCOM had tons of issues, LBP had issues, and R2 has them (although IMO, the least out of all the online games by Sony). I will not ignore that I did come across some freezing and network issues, but I've seen worse (the beta was even smoother than Warhawk launch IMO).

well there are lot of people who have the same problems I do on the IG board for the beta, so it's pretty wide spread it seems. You haven't really had any issues since the one time we tried to play you could join games and I couldn't. I mean the fact is, this beta is pretty useless to me if I can't play it online.

Then later on that day, I played a lengthy co-op match with people without issues. The next day I had issues in the morning, but after that I was able to play without problems. I played everyday except yesterday that I got the beta, and I was able to get into games everyday. I could say the problems I had were no worse than CoD4 retail (except my party actually stuck together). If you are complaining about R2, you should have tried SOCOM for an example. I heard that the R2 Private Beta on the other had, had major issues everywhere, and the public beta is a significant improvement.
 
well, I'm just saying that it isn't really a similar comparison b/c I've been plagued with this problem while you seem to be able to connect fine. You further prove this point.

I mean sure it's a beta, but it's also ending within a week of launch, so I'm not sure if I buy the game if I'll be able to connect.
 
IMO R2 blows anyway hone. I mean who wants to unload two clips to kill someone. Anyways Mana I and many others have played Socom every day since launch. There were instances in the R2 beta (for the short time I played it, before most people even had it) where random problems would happen all the time. It was nearly impossible to finish a co-op match to completion b/c people would keep getting booted.

The only thing I would say that R2 beta has working to perfection is the party system, which worked well

Favorite genres to play online: I would say 'strategy' but the only offering there is Civ: Revolutions, which made me throw up in my mouth a little after playing Civ on a PC for a decade. So uh... what else is there? FPS, I guess. I don't really enjoy FPS games, since I suck at them, but I can stand Warhawk after a few drinks - if the people I'm playing with aren't serious jerks or the silent type.

I also slightly updated the schedule a little, such as adding PST and added Buzz to the mix (since a few CAGs want to play it together) for Sunday, but no time is set yet. Resistance 2 time is 100% set for Saturday, but the time for Wednesday is still kind of uncertain. I don't want to start MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (I know not many have it right now) until a little later, unless tons were to have it and want to play now (and I'd work something out). If people want Battlefield in the schedule, I can insert it. I've also noticed a decent number of people playing Far Cry 2. If people want a CAG night for it, I can try to work it in (I just gotta talk to those who are interested).

LBP will never really have a main CAG night, but it will mostly be friends playing with each other (best way to handle it IMO). Rock Band 2 would need a match making thread to make something work, but if people badly want to play RB2, I'll see what I can organize.

If Resistance 2 is definitely going to be 9pm on Sat, shouldn't Warhawk move to 11?

Resistance 2 is estimated for 9pm EST, but MIGHT be pushed ahead. Whatever happens, I'll make sure there's a 2 hour separation between that and Warhawk.
 
To let everyone know, I do not plan to schedule an Official R2 night on Wednesday for this week, but there will be one for Saturday. Next week and every other weekend, it will be Wednesday and Saturday.

Also, MotorStorm: PR will get a night soon, although attendance may be on the small side.

We have plenty playing RB2, but not sure yet if I'll make it Official.

Like I said before, I look to push SOME Buzz games on Sunday, just need to hear from evergoo on what times works for him.

Well, first off I wanted to apologize to everyone for things being a wash the last 2 weeks, where next to no game nights happen (partially because of several releases), me not being involved anywhere near as much as usuall, but I look forward to making things right again next week (or the week after).

The ONLY game that's still tough to figure out something is LBP, since many own it (the game is very awesome), and it would be quite a mess to organize several 4 player groups (so I just leave it up to people scheduling with friends of theirs when they want to play LBP).

My goal is to get many newer games in the main schedule this weekend, and ready to go for next week (or the week after).

I'm not ready to give up yet (I also understood people wanted some chances to play newer games almost everyday).
