Do u guys have any suggestions for time periods on the weekends?
I was thinking sunday would be a good day cause everyone is usually home...

i wanted to do a ONE day tournament with best 2 outta 3 matches and best 2 outta 3 rounds on Sunday the 19th of April!

Prelims if necessary would be played on saturday.
There would be 30 min time periods to play 5 rounds with 10 minute breaks.
so 50 mins + 150 mins so about... 3 hours total as a general idea.

i think the best time is.. 12 PM PST sunday the 19th? what do u guys think?

Is there a way to do evenings again? I mean I don't mind it being on the weekend but on the weekends im working till about 4 ish pst.

I vote Sunday please. But I would much rather have it on a weekday. From experience, it's quite hard to gather CAGs on a weekend, they usually are doing their own thang.

no worries, it isnt capped at 32 :)

those signing up are for ps3 since the 360 tourney hasnt even occured.
 
I'm just curious, those that took part in the ps3 tourney last week:
Did you use a dualshock 3, a fightpad or a stick? And which kind?
 
I used a SIXAXIS controller though I really want a stick but everywhere I go it seems that it's backordered. I am just waiting till some retailers restock again.
 
I've gotten used to it since the SIXAXIS d-pad is almost similar to the Dual Shock 2 in which I used to play Guilty Gear a lot. When I play with a stick, I am so precise with moves and overall it feels good.

Some of the challenges in SFIV that you to do charge moves to those super moves where it required you to charge twice were somewhat hard. I am surprised I passed all of the charactes Normal Trial and a few Hard ones with just the controller.

I regret buying a stick before the game released but I hope in the future I can get my hands on a HRAP 3 or SFIV Tournament Stick... maybe just make a custom with Seimitsu parts but that will be for next month.
 
So, who get's what prizes? Congrats to the winner and I'm definitely down for a Sunday tourney in the afternoon. If anyone wants to get some matches in the meanwhile, send a FR and mention CAG.
