CAGLS: Madden 13 Gentlemen's League - We Finished! Thanks for Playing!

Played a good game (for me, anyways) with the Jets in preseason. Was up 27-0 at the half after some good defensive turnovers and lucky offensive plays. Ran the ball 100% in the 2nd half.

Them's the Seahawks of old, stopping people from scoring and all! They kinda disappeared at the end of last season. Need that D back this year, even without Browner. My new Rookie CB Karter got a pick in the game, looking forward to seeing how he does as a nickelback.

The 49ers improved their team better than the Seahawks IMO and will win their division. Michael Turner had 33k xp!?

If anyone is looking for a good quick cb with man coverage pick up David Olive.

Nolan Carroll has decent press and man and nice speed for those of you that care about that
 
Also bucs you gotta leave Pierre Thomas on the waiver wire for two weeks amigo I'd drop him so you don't get a strike. Any players you cut you can't sign for 2 weeks just a heads up man
 
Managed to get Madieu Williams, Abram Elam, Sen'Derrick Marks, some depth for my O-Line including Doug Free, and a K. Tried to get McDonald and Breaston but they were long gone lol
 
Just an FYI I still want my fa pool pick Allen baker, I realized I forgot to sign him after someone pmed me. I can't connect to XBL at the moment so I'll sign him tomorrow before or after I go to work.

Yeah, I saw his stats and almost signed him, then looked at the name, and was like "Dammit!" lol. I guess somebody else wasn't paying attention. Whoever got him, drop him now. That's Flyersfan's pick.

Also, it seems that Kaster's dad signed Ty Warren. Kaster, want to let your dear old dad know what he stumbled into? lol ;)

Yeah he already dropped him and realized his mistake, he pmed me about it. It's cool.

Ryan Matthews and Johnny Knox. Not a bad pick up. I was expecting it to be wiped out when I got up, but there are still a few decent players left. I still can't believe the Chargers dropped Matthews.

Also, MaGahee went to the Giants. Have fun! He has 83 SPD!
 
Matthews is going to play just like he plays in the regular season. Randomly and always disappointing ;)

Knox is a nice pick up for you though, another player for you to not throw to :)

Yes, that is correct. The game won't allow him to be dropped in game because he's injured. He started in Denver, then went Texans-Colts-Steelers. I don't think there was anyone else.

Yeah Troy, I think that Matthews will do what I want him for. He's 90 SPD but decent trucking and elusiveness.
 
damn im gonna get screwed with low 70 players once im able to get on.. i got a couple people id like ot pick up but i dont know if theyll be there lol

there might be a something ur dad might be able to do to fix that problem

going on the xbl website and signing in there and changing the settings on the account he might have a parental block that they might not be aware of that he might be able to change or even be able to up the age on the account to get access to the site.
 
ya the only way is the website its not possible to do it any other way. if he still can't log onto the site talk to n8 and he can trade him to me for some random pick in next years draft and ill log on the site and drop him.

I'll check the parental blocks, but the age is locked. I was on the phone with MS before because I wanted to use his Gold acc't to watch MLB.tv (which I paid for), on the Xbox instead of my PC, but I couldn't do it because he is a minor -- apparently MS doesn't want kids hooked on baseball. Anyway, the service guy said that they can do a lot of things, but they are not able to change the age on an account. Not even supervisors are allowed to do that.

I might have a conundrum here... That's exasperating.
 
That is one reason why I have been 18 or older on the internet since I was 12 lol. But like I said, if it comes down to it we can just do a trade of a pick (this is the last year so it doesn't really matter) and I'll cut him on the site so you aren't stuck with a wonderful DT...that never heals!

Thanks Troy. That might be the simplest way to handle this, but I will still try EA support to see if there is something they can do to get his Origin acct linked to his XBL acct. It would still be nice to get into the website.

I temporarily had Knox but wasn't really impressed with his numbers. He's fast...that's about it. His catch ratings were low. His route running wasn't great. And his release was horrid. He also was a surprisingly bad return man (his carry is in the 50s too, I believe). I felt like Brandon Tate brought a lot more to the table. Similar speed...better hands...good returner.

I did try to get Mathews last night though, but somebody had signed him when I went to grab him. Guess he got thrown back out there and I missed him again. I'm suspecting we'll have a lot of players like that as people give different players "try outs".
