Ok, we have advanced to Week 7! It looks like the Cardinals are open, but I'm hoping they won't be open for long, since I just received a PM from billymcdugal saying he's picking up the game and would like to be added to the waiting list. So, he's got great timing there.

Week 7 games will be due by 10/23!

Not trying to be a dick or anything, just out of curiousity. If you plan on trading Mike Williams and you need a decent returner, why'd you cut Ted ginn for Mike Williams?

I realized that after I did it, and I might be trying to acquire another receiver currently. So moving Randy Moss and/or Mike Williams will be needed as I currently have Randy Moss, Michael Crabtree, Mario Manningham, Mike Williams, and AJ Jenkins.

I think that was the worst game of Madden I've ever played haha. 7 INT's by Schaub!! Holy shit your CB's man defense is insane... the only plays I got completions on were screens (for zero yards), and comeback routes. None of my receivers got any separation. And when I thought they did and were open, your CBs made some plays. I also messed up on that kickoff return, thought I had a TD there for a second haha.

yeah, your defense was holding up pretty well and stopping me especially early on. Those interceptions were killer for you. i think my corners are the reason im doing so good in this league. in the other league it seems im getting torched trying to play man and in this league my corners are awsome!!
 
.i know we are having the cards coach leave and a new one join, and i know the Injury might reset so i just wanted to point out the Dont'a Hightower is injuered for 3 weeks so he will be able to play again week 11.

My second straight game of no offensive points (and a terrible no good very bad horrible day of passing--rushing was actually pretty good) but a late pick-6 and a rough fumble by Michael Crabtree will the Seahawks to another improbable and undeserved win.

Seahawks improve to 5-1-1 with what has to be one of the worst offenses in the league. Wow.

I have to say my offense screwed me out of that one. Particularly the dropped pass fumble by Crabtree, and the missed 56 yard FG. Also the Seahawks D is pretty legit.

The missed FG was pretty rough--it looked good but I guess it was a little short. That or the crabtree fumble not happening would have turned the game in favor of the 9ers, assuming I couldn't do any scoring.

My D has bailed me out all season. This game was hard fought on both sides, and the 9ers D was even tougher--shut me out completely. None of my regular passing routes wanted to work at all...I might be looking for a new playbook next week.

GG overall for sure. 9ers play a good classy football game as all of my opponents have thus far.

Not really sure why you're pointing this out. We haven't been tracking injuries this whole time, and we've had plenty of owners come and go. Honestly, I could have sworn a few of the injuries held up after replacing an owner though. Blade should be able to attest to this, as I know Gore was out for several weeks...and we've replaced an owner practically every week so far. I was starting to suspect that that bug wasn't actually affecting us.

i didnt know. it was the first injury i had and i knew it was a problem in the other league, just trying to help

Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9a-10:30a and Fridays are 9a-11a, saturdays are always different but saturday nights are generally good. Off all days sunday so I can generally fit in a game. I understand. It's fine. I just really didn't want to bother with all the work they're doing to track them in the other league. I definitely don't have time for it. And for whatever reason, replacing coaches doesn't seem to be affecting us in that way anyway (see Blade's post). Maybe we just got lucky.

Damn...Chris Johnson wins his 2nd consecutive Offensive PotW award, and 3rd overall...and in a do-over game no less (his stats in the first game were even better). What an odd sensation. I'm almost starting to feel like I know what I'm doing with this game. I'm sure it won't last, lol. :lol:

Just so everyone is aware, Week 8 is the last week that trades can go through, and you cannot have played that weeks game. So if you are considering doing any trades this season, this is the best time to do it before it's too late.

I'm guessing that's due to the bug where both users have to be online to get the trade to go through. You'd think they would have fixed that by now. That's what I thought, maybe you do have to just be on at the same time. I haven't attempted having played my game cause I heard that was a bug.

I seriously got lucky on defense as I have started to try new things an have recently discovered I can actually run haha rather than pass pass pass pass!

bengals fall to the steelers

bengals put up all points in the first quarter and after that was shut down on scoring. steelers defense was tough not giving much up for foster to help take over the game got a few good pass in though but other than that Swift played some incredible defense.

GG bro cant wait to play again im hoping i can write a better story for the bengals next time
