Basically get lucky. Use Bomb Squad and try to lure the guy back into the field of his claymore/c4. Or, set your own claymore just behind their claymore and hope you blow up the guy who set it. I know I had someone blow up my claymore with their martyrdom earlier today basically showing that I killed myself.

3 days of play time is nothing... i am up to 18 days and 5 hours. certain maps are problems for camping... most are fine and easy to beat a team that is camping, but creek is damn near impossible if the other team is good and you got the barn side spawn. the defense from the house side is so easy it is insane. trust me, i have a good team and think that i am pretty damn good. in the 15 or so 1v1's i have played, i have never lost (even to a camper) and i have a very good team. if you have sigs disabled, here are my stats:

78,900+ kills with a 2.44 kill/death ratio, 24.95% accuracy (i have fired probably close to 700,000 shots), and i have a 3.98 win/loss ratio with a 52 win streak and over 3,700 wins. i know i am not the best at the game, but i also surround myself with good players which is probably why my stats are so good. i built my clan from scratch and got players that i could rely on. not having to watch your back at all times is nice.

I like the house spawn, because i book it over to the ridge, maybe throw one or two claymores, and snipe from there. usually my first kills are kids rushing over to snipe, or capture B if we're playing domination.

its nice in domination, because you can cover A and B.


but, i actually have a question. on Ambush, how do you get onto some of those odd houses? and on District, how do you get onto that one archway, that is by A?

There's a group of us on every night, pretty much. Some people are on around 9 (Eastern), but the most activity tends to be around 10:30 to midnight. Thursday nights tend to be the nights with the most CAGs online. When you're online, check the CAG COD4 list, send a message to anyone playing COD4, and ask for an invite.

The new map playlist was available only for the first weekend the maps were released. The maps are now integrated into the regular playlists. I see them come up fairly often in Team Deathmatch and in Ground War.
 
I am probably going to trade my ps3 version for the 360 version now that I have a 360, but what do yo think is the learning curve for that? I wasn't too bad on the ps3, but I didn't play every day.

The first weekend the maps were released, there was a seperate playlist for them only. That's what I was talking about.

I'm gonna TRY and make it on tonight. I'm usually one of the earliest, so maybe around 9 EDT.

You'll be fine. I mean really, some people take these games way too seriously...drop me a friend request, we've got a pretty good group (dvdtalk, cag, 8-bit brigade, TTL), and we can get you leveled up pretty quick. Most of all, we just have fun...win or lose.

I just picked the game up today. I only had to pay 2 bucks with the 25% off coupon, edge and cod4 ps4 trade. So pretty much the same price as if had to mail it to a cag. But my 48 hr xbl code ran out and my damn 12 month one from buy.com hasn't come yet. Hopefully today, the mail hasn't come yet. I guess I'll just play the single player until I can get online.

edit: I haven't gotten the new maps either, obviously. I guess I'll buy them when I get some points...

I quit a game due to being stuck with 4 horrible players, so instead of being mad as I said I just quit the game. So as I try to find another game I get thrown back into the same game. That sucked so again I quit. Then again im in the game. And repeat that process 9 times and I decide to just switch playlists. Jump into S&D game 2 on 6 down 3-0 and playing offense now. Not my night :|

Me and my friends (ranks 16,41, 54) go up against a team of 55's, all with golden guns. I think we lost 12 matches? lol.

man, i feel bad for you. my glitched win streak (i lost 2 after winning 78 and it continued to like 107) ended in a 750-740 loss. we had one random player on our team and he went 3 and 12 before quitting right and the end. i was 24-10 (not great, but they were all camping building 1 one pipeline with m16's) and another teammate of mine was like 28-12 and we still lost. so we scored 520-220 between the 2 of us and the 4 other players on the team couldn't go 23-52 between the 4 of them... that sucked!
 
Im not afraid of rank it really has never effected me, I always give my team of random people a chance its just once they show that they have no real idea how to play the game then I quit. If they just suck but know how to play that is fine, Headquarters doesnt need the most skilled players just ones that go for the headquarters as I can pickup the slack on kills

I had that happen once. I joined a headquarters game on Crossfire 245-0 on the 0 team with pretty much nine minutes to go. I tried playing it, but the 245 team was just camping at the top of the hill not capturing the headquarters. It was literally impossible to even make it halfway up the hill. I tried for about two minutes before I just said screw it and quit, taking a loss. I searched for another game, and got put in the exact same game on the same team, just in time for the other guys to caputure the headquarters and win the game. I got two losses for the same crappy game.
 
I am giving up my goal of having all of the challenges done before GTA comes out. Only ones I have left are Sabotage and Hardcore TDM Operation challenges. After winning 3 games of sabotage in like a hour and realizing I am going to need 50 wins I realize it will be nearly impossible to do that and finish my required homework for the semester. Kinda pissed about that :|

Sorry I didn't realize what you guys meant about China Town being a campers paradise. Finally got it in the rotation and played it about 3-4 times.

Wow, it's really annoying, people are hiding in like every nook and cranny. To many windows to hide in.

And, IAmTheBiggestInuyashaFan. I'll play you 1 on 1. I want to see yo skills.

i think i am pretty much done with this game for a while... today and monday will probably be the last of it for at least a couple of weeks since GTA IV will be in my hands at midnight (04/29). what is your gamertag? i usually don't care for one on one since i am usually running around an entire map looking for someone, but i am willing to give you a shot if you really want it. just so you know though, the last "1v1" i played, the guy brought his clan member in (free-for-all private room) and i beat them both. they were both opfor players and i was a marine, so they didn't shoot at each other... i still went 15-3, my first death being a grenade launcher kill from the guys clan mate who had a golden ak that they claimed was legit.

i will say this, if i have played you before (if i recognize the GT) and i remember you being bad, i will not waste my time like i did in that last "1v1", cause that got extremely boring considering the 2 of them could barely kill me.


edit: by the way, if you are looking for the best CAG that plays CoD, -BigC- is probably better than me. i am sure there are some others that could top me as well, but i am more than willing to play you.

i never use dead silence, even on my stealth class (it is a waste of a perk if the other team talks at all). i do however use a silenced mp5 with bandolier, uav jammer, extreme conditioning. if the stealth stuff bothers you, i will use a different class for you, i want it to be fun and a little challenging.

edit: just sent you a friend request from xbox.com, i am tired (6:30 am), but if you want to do this now, i think i can stay up for it.

i know what dead silence is, but if an entire team is sitting close together and they communicate, the perk is wasted. now in a 1v1 it is fine, but i dont ever change my classes just for a 1v1.

edit: i think i learned more than you did there... i was underestimating you going into that, so i was blindly running around getting shot almost every corner i turned. you will have to give me the chance to redeem myself sometime for that and i apologize for underestimating you before playing you. next time i will use my favorite class (my mp5 class).

i love the g36c, it is becoming my favorite gun. it doesn't deal as much damage as say the m4 or the m16, but its accuracy makes up for it easy. i am going to show blood covenant some spots he was trying to learn if he is still interested, so if you want to hop in there i will send you an invite if you are on.

Id say normally, I/we are on anytime from 7-12pm EST each weeknight(i do tend to say up later alot of times), BC usually will be on until 10 or 11.
 
i should be awake by 7 tonight... i am eastern time too and i have been awake for close to 24 hours now, so i have to pass out for a little bit now. i will probably be appearing offline to do it since i have people from my clan playing at all times, especially around those times that you mentioned. i will send you both a message and an invite. if you have others that want to learn how to get up on the archway, on top of the ambush buildings, etc., we can invite them too so long as they dont start killing. last time i tried to show people spots that they wanted to learn, they started killing when they couldn't get to the spot while others could and that just gets annoying.
 
sent you a friend request xcoax. i can show you all how to get on top of the buldings on crash down by the marine spawn as well, though that one takes a little more time to get the hang of. i dont have much room on my friends list, so anyone else that wants to see how to get to these spots needs to send me a friend request soon or i guess add one of the others that is coming in if they will allow it.
 
i am online right now if anyone wants me to show them... today is pretty much the only chance i am going to have since i am going to play with my clan tomorrow for the last time for at least a couple of weeks. i already have a ton of my clan memebers online right now, so i would really like to do this ASAP.

how many of you are looking to learn these? i can probably do another one really quick if you just want me to show you the spots. i may not be able to make it in all of them, some of them are difficult to make it to and take some practice which i havent perfected them yet.

have heart, pawn, dcriminal, and johnquincy, that was a blast with those acog snipers on shipment. i havent had that much fun in a long time.

Haha, I was goofing around on Ambush practicing those jumps and Chase joined and scared the crap out of me. I was just aimlessly shooting at my dead bodies in the pit of death between a few of the buildings and out of nowhere I'm getting sprayed with M4 bullets.

Yep. I quantum leaped into your game, saw you on a ledge with your gun focused to the ground, and thought, "Hmm, that's peculiar," then fired a few shots. Just a neighborly hello. ;):D

I also used the remains for a nice hamster barbecue. Mike Tyson's Bawbwee-Q Gwill is phenomenal and "bitch slaps the fat" as its motto proclaims.
