This drawing made my day. Any time you can give a detailed explanation using MS Paint (or whatever it was done in) for an extremely elaborate game deserves kudos.

I was playing domination the other day and the opposing team was all CAGs! My team won but it was a damn close call. I did okay overall but I could not, for the life of me, kill JimmieMac. Either he lags, or he is quicker, or something... it pissed me off something fierce.

Also, noticed not a single CAG had "CAG" clan tags. Tsk, tsk!
 
i hope IW puts winter crash online for the 360. crash is probably my favorite map, yet it comes up the least on team deathmatch :(

I actually got into a CAG match tonight and it was pretty nice playing with people who don't completely suck for once. haha I'm on the CAGCOD4 list, and if anyone ever sees me on and playing, give me an invite @ hamsterXcore.

I used the "map," and made it through the tv station successfully. See, this is one of my criticisms of the COD franchise--the infini-spawning. The terrorists keep coming out of that office, but once you occupy it, there's nowhere for them to spawn and you get the "all clear" line. I think I prefer the Rainbow Six Vegas model of a finite amount of foes, figure out the best spot to kill them, then advance. It always struck me as odd that in the COD games, if I run to a spot, I may not have to kill anybody, but if I stay where I am, the enemies will be infinite.


I'll probably try for one level per night on veteran, with some multiplayer mixed in. If anyone wants to send a FR, please do.

I just started playing the campaign on this the other day its a good game but I'm not seeing why everyones so unbelieveably amazed by it atm. Maybe I just need to do the multiplayer to see what all the fuss is about?

UPDATE on the dilemma on my bro in law returning from training after he leant me his copy COD4:

I put Assassin's Creed in his mailbox and called him this morning and told him it was there, then I asked "Do you want me to return COD4 or do you mind if I hold onto it for a little longer?" He said "No, you can hold onto it for longer."

Hopefully this will be the last time I ever hear the words COD4 come out of his mouth. Maybe he will just never, ever ask for it back and I will have time to bring my K/D ratio up to at least 1.
 
Well i started over again, Prestiege #2....I feel...dissapointed, once i got the red tiger camo for the M16 it went downhill from there...i prefer the blue Tiger...its sexy.
 
Anyone know if COD4 is going to get website support like halo 3 now that its proven to be popular? I would like to see stats offline. I know its prabably not going to happen but I can dream.

I beat One Shot, One Kill on Vet just now. I'm exhausted. What an intense firefight.

The part that killed me the most was
getting the captain into the helicopter at the very end. The last time I was literally screaming "don't you die, you son of a bitch" as I was running into the back of the helicopter as I was literally inches away from death.

The Blue tiger isn't a tiger pattern though, it's just some splotchy pattern. I have yet to get the red tiger on anything personally but doesn't red look more, "tiger"?

I really want the red tiger on my M14! I LOVE THAT GUN!

The last match was the best, after a few lead changes we won, 200-199.

just finished it through on veteran and the mile high club wasn't so bad once you got a strategy. i think i had a harder time with certain choke points in the game.
 
well i just got this game a couple days ago from amazon...i just suck at multi player, so i tried single player...this game is fun...awesome graphics and a solid storyline. the misson when crawling on the ground in the grass, sneaking from area to area, then sniping,and carrying your buddy..good stuff, but nerve wracking. i never been into military type shooters in the past, mainly only liked the GoW, past halo games, also Rainbow 6 but now i'm converted. i'm playing on the beginners level and its still difficult at times. now i just need to work on my multi player skills. i also have halo 3 on the way from newegg tomorrow, so my attention might be divided, i'll see how it goes
 
That match was freakin insane!

Got another late night session going, and while we weren't undefeated, we still kicked alot of ass. Will definately have to do it again ASAP.

Sorry, I know a few of you invited me to matches tonight, but I just finished the game on Vet. Very satisfying. Gotta go back and get 10 laptops and do the 20 second ship run, plus Mile High Club, but 940/1000 on my first runthrough ain't bad.

i think its the 3rd mission theres a room that tooke me 20+ tries to get through. i felt more satisifaction after making it through that room than a lot of games give me for beating them. this game has a great difficulty/satisfaction level. though i can see vet being too hard for some.

Now that I've beaten it on hardened and put in 1 day and 14 hours of mulitplayer I dunno if its worth a buy.

Just as a reminder to anyone looking to play with other CAGs, send a friend request to CAGCOD4. You can use it to see everyone else on the list, which makes up all the other CAGs interested in gaming.

Short version: add CAGCOD4 + Friend of a Friend = CAG Love
 
do we still have a cag night for COD4? i know we have the list and all, but i think having a specific night will get more cags online together.
