Keep in mind that the CAG group isn't fixed; there's a different group of people playing each night. Sure, there's a core group that's on most nights, but the overall lineup is rarely the same. As a result, we don't practice together or plan strategies or work on teamwork. We play just to have fun. Winning's great too, and it happens, but we're in it just to have fun, not to be extremely competitive. There's nothing wrong with being in a clan that's really competitive; it's just not our thing.

As for Rivers, he's really good. I consider myself to be somewhat decent at CoD4, but compared to him, I'd say I'm average.

Dont let the shit talkers get to you, people behind a mic can say whatever they please without anything coming back to them that is why they talk so much shit. It actually makes running into cool people in the game that much better. People who actually say good game or "nice _____". Even the few newer players who accept my help by giving them some pointers so they can help the team/themself makes the community seem almost decent every other month

Good post. We don't have a fixed lineup either so I know exactly what yer talking about. Somedays we have people who haven't even rocked their first prestige yet, other days we have our Varsity Team in. It's good fun all around.

Rivers isn't a bad player by any means and sometimes I hop in his room to watch ya'll play. I used to play with him but out grew him pretty quick. I have more free time on my hands (layoff) so I put in more hours. Doesn't necessarily means yer better, I.E. the thousands of 10th prestige kids we poop on every night.

It's all in good fun. I enjoy CAG forums, they're definitely more laid back from the MLG OT that I'm accustomed too. Hopefully we play again.

Funny, I've never played against you, so how do you know?
CAG wasn't even the main reason I posted: it was to let them know they have some shady users. Someone deleted it, they got the message. Mission done.

And calling people $$$$$$s over live like you do is way more worse for CAG's reputation.

Question: What time do you guys start tomorrow night? I can get on an hour earlier due to no Lost, although I will be watching Smallville.

Also, whomever runs CAGCOD4- please accept FrankySox and A Happy Panda today if you can. I just played with them, and they're really good, and eager to join CAG games.

You gotta understand, Jimmie, that [CAG] is not just a website anymore, bro, it's a community of gamers. So it's only natural that when we're constantly insulted, to make light of the situation.

Also, if someone's going to tell anyone to keep CAG out of their mouth, it'll be CheapyD, and CheapyD only.

So Thorbahn's post was not stupid or pointless, and he definitely does not suck at COD, man!

But, Jimmie, I can understand where you're coming from...from what I hear, you're pretty much the same as these guys on XBOX LIVE, talking trash and insulting people for no apparent reason. So if that's the case, I don't think any of us expect you to understand, and I guess it's good that you aren't a part of our daily gaming nights!

I've got to say last night was actually alot better. I don't know whether it was that we were actually winning against the shit talkers, or that we were just letting all the crapola they were spewing into their mics roll off our backs. I know I personally made an effort to say "good game" after every match, win or lose.

We actually played one group that was super friendly win or lose (and we destroyed them both matches) and that was really really refreshing.

Oh, Matt Young, I've got Panda on my friend list, so if he's on, he's in.
 
Letting my friend play at my house a lot the last 3 days, my stats have gone down in every category. That is an accomplishment for him considering it takes me a week of good games to go up .01 in kills

Another one based off the "Sins of our fathers" mission, gives an interesting angle into Zahkeav and his son's character.

This one is even Better.

Its 10 min, but its worth it to relive the mission in a different view, and this time you get to see Capt. Price kicking ass.

anyone see the alternate ending for the game? you have to register a hit on the helicopter on the final mission. I saw a video on youtube, but im not sure if its legit or not...anyone know anything about this?

Also, whats everyones best score on FNG? 13.4 :)
 
Just gotta proclaim to everyone, FINALLY got Mile High Club tonight...ran out of ammo, got lucky, and was able to knife the last two guys around the corner without them shooting me, and believe me..I made the head shot COUNT!:whee:


I had to have played that atleast 6+ hours over the last three days...that equates to atleast 600+ attempts easy.


F.N.G., I got 13.8 secs with the accuracy bonus. Its not 13.4, my hats off to you. That mission also took up way too much of my time.

Now that I'm done with the single player, I might have to join the CAG clan on Thursday nights. Is everyone absolutely sick, cuz I just got the 360 for Christmas and it'll be my first time on live. I don't want to look like an idiot.

I beat mile high club in pretty much the same way you did. in the last room i threw a flashbang and knifed the last 2 guys. i missed the terrorists head the first time, but luckily got it the second lol. It took me about 6 hours to complete it as well.

Im considering joining the CAG clan too, and im not as good as my stats say i am. I doubt anyone will care what type of skills you have though.

Oh, one more thing about last night, though. The funniest thing ever was when we were in Backlot I think, and the entire team started the match knifing each other and laughing for like 30 seconds, and then in an instant, the entire team was wiped out by the enemy. Which is hilarious, cause that KILLCAM just showed an enemy going around the corner to see 9 dudes frolicking and jumping around all happily and shit, and then he just starts opening fire!
 
Alright Jimmiemac, I'll play with ya. Let's say sometime next weekend on either April 5th or 6th.
That way it gives everyone enough time to make plans.
 
I may lead some of the leaderboards, but I think I'll sit this one out. I play as well as I feel, and if I'm not in the mood, I'll be a bigger burden than I am in most games. Hahaha...

I still say the most akward moment was hearing you talking about me not wearing anything under the ghille suit and then feeling that little vibration in the controller as you knifed me in the back. I didn't know sexual harassment could exist on XBL in a physical form until now! haha

Man, I just played in my buddy's clan going against another clan. Playing Deathmatch and playing with clans are so different. I thought I was good... until I played clans. :cry:
