Corvin, I've yet to give Zombies a shot, hasn't really been a thing I've enjoyed, though.
I think the problem with Zombies for me is that I had a terrible first experience with it in World At War. I got into a group with a buddy of mine and 2 of his friends, and instead of running around getting chased by zombies and having...you know...fun, their plan was "Hey, let's sit in this corner here and make a 4-person formation for 30 rounds and only run out when we need ammo." It was the most boring thing I've ever played.
Ever since then, Zombies doesn't seem appealing at all. It scarred the "Zombies are fun" part of my brain.
Dead Ops is cool, though.[/QUOTE]
LOL... my condolences. The farthest I've ever gone with a pack of randoms is the 12th round on Five. I normally avoid public horde modes because of scenarios like yours. You're either bored out of your mind or get screwed. There's nothing more annoying than getting abandoned on purpose by a bunch of moronic 12 year olds giggling through your television speakers after you've bought open their escape route. Now that I've gotten the hang of the mode though I've been using it as quick stress reliever to MP.
Thankfully the team I was on was completely different though our tactics were similar to yours. I mean sure we initially started dicking around just testing the waters and stretching our feet a little because each of us assumed the worst from the rest. Surprisingly by the eighth round we had gotten down the routine of elevator camping, cover fire, ammo runs and knowing when to haul ass between levels to safely revive each other. No one got left behind. The only reason we died is because we got overrun mistiming our reloads during the next round wave and two of us were down blocking the path to the elevator switch.
