I've seen so many different thrread that the forum is getting messy. Since we have an official trading thread, maybe we can have an official one for questions too, because after all, this is the Canadian HOT DEALS forum! It's not right when we have more questions than deals. You can ask any question you wan there, ranging from the cheapest 360, HDTVGame delays, Canadian game rental sites all the way to where the cheapest copy of Burnout is. I can assure you that you will get the same amout of replies here, if not more!

Any good deals for an xbox360 arcade?

Not sure if the RV deal that comes with COD4 is the arcade version or just pro and up.
Well, looking at the websites for Best Buy and Future Shop has Brawl in stock now. A shiny penny to anyone who can figure out a way to get those early.
Do you have a perdy mouth? If you do, let's get to work! :D

All versions I think. It's your best bet.

Anyone know any good trade fodder I can get from somewhere like BBV to use towards the EB Trade deals? Just need 2 more games for a PSP deal. :\

I don't know how big of a deal this is, but I was at RCSS and they had Bully on PS2 for $15. I was tempted to buy it...but I know I'll probably just get one of the new versions. It's a cheap price though.

Just have a question does anyone know if you lost your edge card(ebgames) if you can use Eb edge number instead, as well as if they pricematch :bomb:

If you have an older receipt with the number you can use that instead of the card.

EB doesn't have a PM policy. You can always try I guess.
Wireless is the way to go buddy! You're better off buying a wireless router IMO.
Wired > Wireless. Wireless is a pain in the ass and is slow as heck compared to a wireless G connection.
Wired > Wireless. Wireless is a pain in the ass and is slow as heck compared to a wireless G connection.
Eh... I never notice my wireless G connection being any slower compared to wired. TF2 pings on my clan's server aren't any different.

EDIT: My remark wasn't isn't about wireless use with the Wii. Thought the statement was about wireless in general.
Anyone know the cheapter price on the Wii Wired Lan Adapter? Used or New.
Saw one recently at a BB in the opened box section. It was about $25. It's a longshot, but maybe start checking there?

Wireless is NOT the way to go with the Wii. The wii has the single worst wifi capabilities ever. Playing Brawl with wireless is a joke.

Well i guess it depends on the user. Mine's working fine along my 360/wii/laptop.

Try streaming media... Sure, my pings are fine for gaming but wired is ALWAYS the preferred option. If I could redo the wiring in the basement I would. Using wireless is such a PITA for transferring files or streaming video.

I finally played a bunch of matches with some people last night, one Canadian and rest US. Lag was slightly better with the Canadian person. I experienced randomly lag splotches more with the US players. I'm using a Wifi dongle (not the Nintendo one) to play since my Wii isn't really near my router.

Have you tried playing Brawl online?

I'm not saying wifi in general is bad, everything I have is hooked up through wifi, I'm saying the Wii's wifi is garbage, which is a rather well known fact.

I have a wireless router. It's just Brawl has been a complete pain with wireless and if a wired connection helps, I'd definitely go with it.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for fixing scratched discs? I got Mass Effect from the RV 2/40, but it's really quite scratched. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd suggest paying someone like Blockbuster or EB to do it before trying to homemade remedies, they're really hit or miss...more miss than hit.

Well if it doesn't work he can always bring it back to RV...

Not if he destroys the disc doing something to it, then he can't  Just bring it back to RV, if they have more on the shelf they'll probably just swap for a working one.

Does anyone know where I could find a new copy of Tales of Legendia in the Toronto area? Might be impossible, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

What are the most reliable sites I can find for the market prices of video games?

Also, are there any sites which has a complete list of all video games released, with a list of their respective manuals, inserts, etc.?

Thanks in advance.

I would guess that the best market prices to be either eBay or EB/Gamestop, since they're the biggest sellers of games.

Wikipedia might have the entire libraries of systems: I know Nintendo.com lists their entire game library. As for manuals and inserts, that's probably near-impossible to determine.

Gamefaqs has every video game listed. But also lists japanese and foreign releases so you'd have to sift through those.

Inserts no clue.

Half.com is the site I'd use for pricing games.

That right there is enough to not want to buy it.

What is the PS2 fromat software?
Are there any guides to shipping games to the U.S.?
economy airmail is generally the cheapest method $4.20 after tax, if you're shipping a normal game in a dvd size case, ds games tend to be slightly cheaper and if you plan on selling 5 or more, get a 10 or 12 pack of bubble mailers from staples (try and get the lightest one, since heavier weight = more $)

So would I just put the game in an envelope and take it to the post office, then fill out the forms there?

you would need a bubble mailer for it, stick the game inside, then take it to the post office, show them the address and ask for the cheapest shipping method, fill out the form (value in CAD/USD, label as gift) and voila
