Incorrect. One UPC was on clearance a few months back. There was also a sale on the other UPC, IIRC.
 
Anyone have a full list of the PSP, DS & GBA games that are $16.96 (And until the end of tomorrow $12)? There are quite a few older titles at my CC that I'm wondering if they are clearanced or not.

How much did you get Full Auto for? It was marked 12.96 at my CC. Would 25% come off of that price?
 
I managed to pick up Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy for $12.72 (I didn't even know they had the 25% off sale going on). I may go back tomorrow and get a price adjustment for Phoenix Wright which I bought for 16.96 a couple weeks ago and pick up Xenosaga III which I saw there. They also had NBA 2K6 for the 360 on clearance, I wonder if I should pick that up. This 25% off sale on clearance games is still valid through Sunday the 14th right?

I was able to grab a copy of Phoenix Wright and the last copy of MotoGP 06(360) for $12.72 each at the Pearland, TX CC.

They still had a few copies of Phoenix Wright if anyone else in the area is interested.....

Edit: if anyone was able to pick up Amped 3 or Full Auto from this sale, I'd be willing to trade either of those games for either of mine...just PM me!

Sunday is the 15th...
 
Well unfortunately I couldn't find the time to jet over to Circuit City today so I couldn't pick up Rocket Slime and UG'nG for the $12 price, but ah well, $16 is still not a bad deal for Rocket Slime and I can get UG'nG for $1 less at my CompUSA I work at.

...and then I can always try to get Circuit City to match my Sony Best Buy coupon as well.
 
You could still check. Today, some games remaining at my store had new, white $12.72 stickers on top of the older $16.96 ones.
 
How are you guys still finding these games? I went to my CC the day we found out about this clearance and didn't find Pheonix Wright. :( I did see 2 Rocket Slimes and a Pokemon Torzei though...

Anyone know what the price is on the XBOX Live starter kit with the headset, PGR 2, and the XBOX Live arcade game at CC ? They had one left that was on the same rack at the 360 subscription cards. I was wondering if they were discounted.

I would have price checked it myself but it hard enough finding help at the CC by me any day. But the day I went they were redoing the whole gaming section taking down the game racks.

I keep waiting for the next drop as well. My local CC still has copies of the PS2 RPGs that I want to pick up, but I want 'em cheaper than $17 apiece. :p

A few of them have dropped to $12.96. Drakengard 2 and Chicken Little: Ace in Action are the ones I remember seeing from this clearance, along with others from previous clearances (Lost Magic, Scurge: Hive, Metal Gear Ac!d).

At the CC I went to today Drakengard 2 was still 16.96.

It's a shame that stuff isn't dropping like it was last year. Games that were $16.96 in Fall 2005 were down to $2.96 - $5.96 by April and May 2006 since they dropped to $16.96 then $13.96, then $10.96, then $8.96 then $5.96 then $3.96 then $2.96 and some got to $1.96 and a very few made it to $0.96.

Even the games from last year's $8.96 clearance have either been rasied in price (Meteos for example) or still stuck at $8.96

So, games are just steadily dropping to $16.96, or have all of the games that were going to drop...dropped?

I have every PS2 game that I could possibly want, save for God of War II, but there are quite a few Gamecube games I'm waiting for. Less so with the Xbox games, but eh. Guess I want Stubbs the Zombie...

The May clearance should be this week (they've been clearancing select titles the first week of every month so far this year).

It will be great to see what they put up for clearance next I snatched some pretty good titles from CC in the last month....

that was 2 weeks ago I believe, and it was only for the cool deals stickered games specifically.

Actually every game I purchased that day from the sale bin was not a Cool Deals game and they rung up 25% off the marked price..

The Games were:

I bought several DS and PS2 games for $16.96 (not knowing about the 25%-off working for clearanced titles) and went back about 20 days later to get the difference back when the 25%-off sale started. No problems receiving the discount. The manager was surprised that the 25%-off applied though since my games didn't have a "Cool Deals" sticker.
 
Not everything at my CC has hit that price yet but some of the titles in the bin did go down to about $12. I picked up Scurge for the DS but the others I price checked still rang up at $17.
 
got xenosaga 3 and was looking around and found the last copy of guilty gear judgement for cheap. I then noticed the games were up like something was underneath, lifted up and looked under to find monster hunter freedom for 16.96. Couldn't believe it, had been wanting a sealed copy of this for cheap for a while.

Agreed... I remember around this same time last year I got a ton of awesome games for $1.96 - $3.96.

This year, they are just stuck at $16.96.

It dropped to 16.96 on the website, and now is OOS. People are reporting it in store for the same price. Its probably a part of this month's clearance drops, which surprisingly, anyone has yet to post.
