Many of these games have been listed in the other thread that was started but I'll put up this thread with the entire list. Thanks to maccabee72 for starting that thread. Some are new additions, some are markdowns on previous games. These should qualify for the 25% off sale that starts 7/8 so buy now and keep those receipts for pricematching. Same as last month, if there are new additions throughout the month I'll be adding them.

Here are links to the June and April/May clearance threads as well.

Went back and happened to dig up a copy of Fifa 2006. With that, I'm done this time around.

I was hoping for a copy of Phantasy Star, but no such luck. They did have Bionicle, NBA 06, DDRU, Tony Hawk:AW, King kong and a few other commons, as well as Avatar and Robinsons for the Wii.
The cashier I got matched them 110%, I didn't ask for it, she just did it, told me she did it, then winked.

dammit, she was cute too.
Go back and get her digits.:D
Similar situation with me this morning. Picked up Myst III: Exile and Need for Speed: Most Wanted - Black Edition, both ringing up at the 'regular' prices ($8.96 and $16.96 respectively) without the 25% off. Because the price tags on each game weren't updated (NFS still had $59.99 on it!), the cashier assumed the discount was applied automatically...
Went back for the price adjust earlier today, which was painless and took less than an minute. Cashier scanned the reciept, hit a few keys, and I got my cash. Even got the extra 10% back!

Thanks for the heads-up guys!

went back and got my adjustments and picked up some other games...there was a Metroid Prime Hunters marked $16.96 but came up at the regular $34.99 price but they adjusted it, that isnt on clearance right?
I thought that Just Cause for the 360 was on the list?
It was on the June clearance list. PS2 and 360. Well worth it IMO if you can still find it.
I thought that Just Cause for the 360 was on the list?
It's clearanced, if that's what you mean. I picked it up two days ago for 12.72.

Hell yes. Go and be all, "If you regularly give 110%, we should go out sometime." A'iiight. :)
Go back and get her digits.:D
No, but I think Metroid Prime Pinball was a while back - they must have mixed that up. Good news for you!

Indiana Jones - exactly. Now that it is automatic, it is even easier. Just say you heard the game dropped in price since you bought it and want a price adjustment. They will just look up the new price and credit you the difference. You only need the receipt.

I'll be finishing off a couple of price adjustments myself tonight.
So how do you get the 25% back on previous purchases? Just take in the receipt and ask for it? It this their policy to pricematch themselves?
Yeah, if it's within 30 days you should be ok. They only recently updated their computers so you should be able to just walk in and ask for the price match.

I did this yesterday. While it could have been faster, it couldn't have been any easier. The Circuit City rep went through both my receipts and adjusted all the game prices, no questions asked.

Went today and got:

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath XB 9.72
Meteos NDS 12.72

Oh and Gun XB was 6.97, but I didn't bother with it.

Just cagged the last of my 3 CCs today. 1 MtR, 2 Avatar, 2 DoAX2, 3 DDRU (all going to GR) and a lone copy of Fullmetal Alchemist on DS for the gf.

Damnit! I can only find one of my receipts. :(

It doesn't matter if I take my receipt to a different CC than the one I bought it at, right? Since they're not individually franchised.

Yeah Jones, that's fine. I had receipts from three or four different CCs. Took them all to my local CC and she price adjusted the games from all the different stores.

I had someone go in and price adjust my two receipts for me on Thursday (*after* CC fixed the prices in their computer).

The good news: Received $3 off a $4.96 game.

The bad news: Received $2 off *each* from 5 $16.96 games (deductions on those should be $4.24 each). Then, on another receipt I received $3 off another $16.96 game. Who knew 25% off fluctuates so much? ;) Way to be consistent. ;)

I think I'll have him go back with games in hand and just return/rebuy on the spot to save him any extra hassle. He said it took the CSR 20 minutes to adjust 7 games over 2 receipts. How fun. I would expect that before Wednesday, but not now. Now I know how it feels to be slidecage.

all the prices on these games at my CC are still showing the retail price, this is supposed to be a nationwide thing, right?

Yes, and I personally guarantee if you bring up a game like Meet The Robinsons for Wii or Just Cause for the 360 that it will be $12.72 (through this Saturday) ;).

At the store I went to today it was totally hit or miss (in terms of location and accurate tags). Gun and Lego Bionicles were in the clearance bin marked $16.96. MtR was in the Wii section and there were 2 copies - 1 marked $16.96 and the other $49.99 (and the $16.96 one was actually a large CC sticker, not the little ones they paste on for reduced prices). Same with a few other games in the 360 section. (I just picked up one more MtR in case I find other things to pair it up with for EB).

Oh, and no problem getting the rest of my receipts adjusted, but as expected, since the 25% is automatic I did NOT get additional discounts on my $11.96 games ;).

Have we determined if things like Bust-A-Move have dropped during the sale (ie, from $9.99 to $7.49 this week)? I forgot to ask her about that one and I'm not sure if she checked it or not - she may only have checked the $16.96 ones.

anyone know if they have a way to lookup your receipt? I made 2 purchases. one small (just MTR & Avatar) and one larger. I lost the receipt for the small purchase :( But I would still like to get my $9 back. anyway for them to look up the transaction (possibly by credit card like you can do at Target?)
anyway for them to look up the transaction (possibly by credit card like you can do at Target?)
I've never done it, but it sounds like they can. While I was waiting for my price adjustments last night, the people already at the desk in front of me were trying to return something without a receipt. She made a point of saying that since they paid cash she couldn't look it up because there's nothing tied to it, but if it had been credit card or if they had given their phone number at the time, she could find it.

There are plenty of copies of DDRU and at least one copy of MtR at the Florida Mall CC in Orlando, if anyone is still looking.

Also, anyone check any of the MICHIGAN stores lately? Might save me a trip if I know there is nothing. Looking for PS3-CH2K7, any 360 games (mainly Just Cause, VT3 and a few others possibly).

I stopped in today to price adjust 5 games on 2 receipts.

The girl I had must have been new, because she looked terrified. I gave her the receipts, and asked for a price adjustment and she got nervous, and said "for which one?" And I told her I was pretty sure all were adjustable.

She excused herself and ran into the back to speak to a manager. Then came back out and was asking other cashiers. Then ran in the back again, then came out and asked me if I saw them on sale cheaper somewhere. So I told her Circuit City, and showed her the ad.

She was just looking around for someone and I said "I think if you just scan the receipt, the computer does it for you" so she scanned the first receipt, then ran in the back for the manager again. Then she came back out and said "Ok, I can give you 25% back on the games that end in 96 cents" I asked if the 5th game was on clearance (because I had heard here it had since dropped to clearance) but she said it wasn't, which is fine.

So she adjusted the 4 games that were on clearance and I was done. It took a little while, and was definetly not smooth, but the girl was polite and friendly and probably a new employee.

So overall I'm very happy to get 4 Xbox 360 games for only $12.XX each.

I asked about the price adjustment back when I purchased my clearance games. She said that you can just bring in the receipt and the system can automatically adjust the price. Then, just as I was about to turn to leave, she said that since I paid with a credit card, that I wouldn't even need the receipt and they could look it up using that. So I'm guessing you should be good if you used a credit card.

Managed to get the price of two games adjusted. It took about ten minutes. the cashier was adamant that the prices of the games were 16.96 and that the games were not reduced an additional 25%. She called the manager over who held her opinion. I finally told him to scan one of the 16.96 games. He agreed and the cashier entered the UPC of one of my purchased at which time she told the manager that I was right when it came up at 12.72. The manager was apologetic (he really did act like an ass about it) but gave me an extra dollar off each game for the hassle. He apologized again when he saw me browsing on the sales floor.

I FINALLY stopped at one of my CC. They had all the clearance games in two big bins. Didn't find anything worthwhile.

For the 360, they had Madden 06, GUN (tempted to get it, but passed), The Outfit, Eragon, Bioncle, and X-Men Official Game. Nothing that I really wanted....

I really want CHOOPS 2K7 for Ps3....oh well.

Havn't seen this mentioned nor is it on the list on the first page. When I went to get my previously purchased games adjusted I checked out what they had available and they had 4 copies of Bomberman Act Zero marked 16.96 in the clearance bins for 360. I know its gotten terrible reviews but I figured I would at least mention it.

One of the games I went back to adjust was The Outfit (I paid $19.99 a few weeks ago) and the girl said that title was not on sale/clearance. It would still be $19.99 (if they had any).

I mean it's only an $8.00 difference, but I'm not sure why it's a clearance game in some stores and not others.

I can confirm that Bust-a-move will ring up at 9.99 priced checked it today.

Thanks kojubat and MC Hampster. I had given up getting the price adjusted for those 2 games. Tried tonight and I can confirm that you DO NOT need your receipt to adjust the price. All you need is your credit card and a relative idea of when you purchased the games.

If anyone sees a copy of Just Cause and could pick me it up I'd be happy to pay for it + shipping and would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone sees a copy of Just Cause and could pick me it up I'd be happy to pay for it + shipping and would be greatly appreciated.
For which system?

Pricematching my copies of DOAX2 and Condemned was easy as pie ($25.44 for both is an awesome deal). Glad I waited until after they fixed the 25% debacle.

Has anyone seen any extra copies of Condemned and Virtua Tennis 3 for the 360? My CC is completely sold out of those two and I really want to get these. PM me and we can work something out! Thanks in advance!

After getting the price adjustments on the Meet the Robinsons & Avatar doubles and trading them in at Gamestop, I only paid about $25 each for Super Paper Mario and Wario Ware for Wii. Pretty sweet.

I read the last few pages but didn't see an answer for this, is the 25% off now coming off on games you purchase now and are not taking back to be price adjusted? The website is still showing all xx.x6 games without the 25% discount so I couldn't tell if it was only price adjustments that were being corrected now

You can get the price adjustment on any clearance game that you've purchased in the last 30 days. They will probably have to manually input the difference and it may take a calculator and taking off shoes but it wasn't that big of a problem.

The computers are fixed now so there won't be any need for manually adjustments. Games I purchased a few days ago for $16.96 now ring up at the appropriate $12.72 so there won't be any headache for the cashier.

can you do a price adjustment on games you bought online? as you dont have a receipt, if so, how does that work? cause i bought some games off their site on the 28th of June and am curious if I can price adjust those.

Here's hoping they never switch back

I'm not familiar with circuit city's return policy (and didn't see it on the site), do you have to return stuff to the same circuit city or can you return to any store?
