Many of these games have been listed in the other thread that was started but I'll put up this thread with the entire list. Thanks to maccabee72 for starting that thread. Some are new additions, some are markdowns on previous games. These should qualify for the 25% off sale that starts 7/8 so buy now and keep those receipts for pricematching. Same as last month, if there are new additions throughout the month I'll be adding them.

Nope - I bought a Legendia tonight and it was $16.96. Maybe that was a store stuck on manual adjustments?

By the way, I went to a CC today that I don't go to often and they had several DDRU and DOAX2 as well as Meet The Robinsons and a few of the other Wii and 360 clearance games. I was very surprised to see all those there. Oh, they also had several Rocket Slime and Chocobo Tales. Rocket Slime was on clearance a while back, wasn't it? I don't think I've seen that at the 3 other CC's I visit in a long time.

And don't expect the tags to ever update, either. The computer, however, will ring it up at the right price.

I go to CC, grab games I know are on clearance along with others that I hope are marked down, and ask them to price check the lot. The clerks always have fun with me, seeing what has been reduced in price, and what still is full price.

if you can find one CC staff to do price check. normally none. you have to go over at check-out or cust serv.

but i notice my CC has managed to just re-price the items with a pen rather than a sticker. i could barely read the '1' that looked like '7.' ugghhh terrible handwriting.
 
Hmm, think I'm gonna pick up a 3-month Live starter kit as well as some points cards. Apparently the thing comes with a 20 dollars off coupon for any 360 game, so that seems to be a pretty good value all things considered.
 
Went to CC today and picked up Rise of the Kasai for $4.95 and GTA Trilogy for $14.95. :cool:

On an unrelated note, I finall found Super Mario Bros. 3 the cartoon show. It was $19.99 :cool:
 
Dropped by the Circuit City in Pomona today to grab Meet the Robinsons for the EB/Gamestop trade in deal and found the game still stickered for $49.99, took the display case to a female worker and she was reluctant to price check it and said that the price is whatever it says on the sticker. Not taking what she said to heart I took it to customer service where it came out to be $16.96. I bought it and it ended up being the last copy they had left.

They still have many of the other games listed on the first post. I think they aren't going off the shelves because they all retain their original sticker prices, but if you take them to customer service they should end up at the clearance price.

I was just passing by that store, don't live too close to it, so if anyone needs any games you may need to go yourself or ask someone who lives near there to do so.

Anyone know for sure if CC is still taking an additional 25% off their Clearance games?
 
Hello All, I don't know if it was on clearance or not, I doubt it. Anyway , I went to circuit city today and saw two copies of Enchanted Arms PS3 in the glass case, and told the employee I was curious about a price because they did not have a sticker on them. Anyway it rang up $19.99 and he did a double take at the register. I bought one and he said he was buying the other. :D
 
It's $20 everywhere.

I was checking amazon and ebay, seems the GTA Xbox trilogy is rare now or something 'cause it's going for $65 new minimum.:cool:

An inconvenience compared to other retail establishments. But I'm not so impatient that I can't wait four minutes to find out if a game is cheap enough to buy or not.

It's not clearance, I think it's new retail price, even Amazon has it on $20 regular sold by Target.

I'm not really sure what the deal is with Enchanted Arms. It was $19.99 at GameCrazy, but now it's back up to $49.99. Wonder if it's possible that there was a temporary universal price drop?!?

The PS2 version is still $29.99. I just had them do a price check yesterday.

Yeah, it is weird. At like almost every major retailer, it's still $19.99. Scorch did mention that GC recently raised its price from 19.99/14.99 to 49.99/39.99. I wonder if it's because a bunch of people were buying it with GC credit (to flip somewhere else) and that changed its value. My guess is GC is the only one changing prices and the others are keeping the universal price drop.
 
SCORE! Walked in today and found 2 copies of Metal Gear Acid 1 marked at 39.99. Since you can't find it new anywhere anymore, I decided to pick it up. Low and behold, when it was scanned it came up was 16.xx. I quickly decided to pick up both. Sure, you can find it used, but try to find it new.

You got a great price. Now, just wait and see if CC has a 25%-off clearance games sale again within the next 30 days. Your deal will be even sweeter. ;)

Is there going to be an August clearance? I hope so since my CC has a couple of good GC, PS2, and PSP games I've been wanting that have been around for a long time.

Also, saw Taiko Drum Master. I assume this is a clearance item, but haven't seen it in any lists. Anybody know for sure?

It was a special in their weekly ad a couple weeks back. One week only. So no. No more 25% off.

some titles have dropped from $16.96 to $4.96 like

do stores get new shipments of hella old games? i recently found a warioware mega party game$ for gc new sealed and a few other 1st party gc games. or maybe they were just in the back? got lucky and scored a 3$ space channel 5

I don't know about old GC games, but I was debating picking up SC 5 for $3 as there were 2 copies at one of my CCs, but they disappeared during the 25% off sale. Guess that 75 cents pushed buyers over the edge on that one. Those copies had been in the bin for quite awhile. Sometimes nobody grabs a cheap game and it rots there for awhile.

I'd go back and have it price checked...you might not find an answer from us. If it was a clearance game it was from several months ago.

here in Chicago, I cannot find a Virtua Tennis 3 for the hell of me. I found out that it was lowered to 12 bucks though

By chance, does anyone have the website ad for the game? Maybe I can go to a different retailer? Thanks
