Just got my copy of Odin Sphere today. They had two left when I left at the Tri-county store in Cincinnati. You might want to call in advance though.
If you can't find it, look in the bargain bin, that's where I got mine from. I didn't see any other games that were worth picking up. They didn't have any next-gen games on sale.

I just quit working at that store. I am gonna have to make special trips for my cheap games now.
 
I know if CC advertises a lower price in the 30 days after you purchase something, they'll refund you the difference...this'll work for the 33% off clearance, right?

might not work if it's a clearance...it works on sales, but not sure on clearances
 
None of the CCs in Vegas have Odin Sphere. I went directly after hearing word of the game going on clearance, and none of them had it in stock. I did manage to get Cabela's African Safari for 360 for $16.96. I don't think that one has been mentioned yet. I haven't seen any good deal on that game since it came out.

Others have posted that they have gone and received the difference when a game's price drops (this was during the last, mostly unadvertised, sale on clearance games). YMMV?

Just got Odin Sphere, so I will see.
 
I don't think stores had many copies of Odin Sphere to begin with, so finding one now will be pretty hard. I had to go to three stores before I found one copy. Didn't find a single Dawn of Mana which I also wanted. I did find an MLB Power Pros (PS2) for $12.96, lower than the first post states.

A lot of those new DS and GC clearance markdowns are for games that haven't been in most CCs for months as well, so many CAGs likely won't find them either, but good luck.

On a side note, one CC I went to had a new sign up where they removed the "Circuit" and were just called "The City". Jay Leno made a joke about them changing their name a few days ago, but this was the first time I've seen a store with the name physically changed.

...Lame.
 
I must be a mind reader. When I was at CC last week trying to get Pheonix Wright for $11 (which the DS aisle was in disaray so I just got a rain check), I noticed a pair of Odins. Got them price checked, they rang $40. And even thought they are sorta rare, I told myself "You know what? I'll bet they'll clearance out in April." And they did indeed clearance! Wooo! Thanks Neo, langdon, and mitch!

And maybe I might even pick up Power Pros...... unless Play Asia dried my funds.

I have come across very rare exceptions: If a CC store was just built in the last six months and has the really really new computer system, they might not have their computers ring up the clearance properly. The brand new CC that was built back in Dec. wouldn't even ring up their advertised sale prices properly!

CCs with the two older computer systems should always ring up properly though.

I think I've been in best buy once in the last year and a half...0 trips to wally's world and circuit city in that time span. I think after my tests are over next week, I will be hitting these places up scouring for deals. Who needs alcohol to celebrate a 21st birthday...I've got geekier things to do XD.

I agree about the alcohol, but if I got to turn 21 again I wouldn't be spending it hanging out at big-box retailers. You've got the rest of your life for that (indeed, you'll probably be forced to do it). I had to study for a final on my 21st, though, so what do I know...
 
Hm, I have a friend thats been borrowing my copy of Odin Sphere for months, but at that price I might pick one up and let him keep my old one.

Lord, I'd never go to Circuit City if it wasn't for these damn clearances and the occasional good deal. Scratch that, I'd probably never go if it wasn't for CAG.
 
Great deal for Odin Sphere, but I already have a copy from when it first came out (signed by Sakimoto :D).

Definitely pressing my friends to get the game now though.

Waste $17 just because its very rare now? Bleh, I will think about it if my CC has it. Thought it was a massive disappointment. Huge framerate drops, boring & repetitive combat/characters...honestly the only thing it had going was its artstyle & that got old fast when the framerate drops so much it makes the game unplayable. Don't know what the fuck Vanillaware was thinking or doing at that time.

I saw Dawn of Mana and MLB Power Pros, then I log in this morning and see they're also on clearance, AND there's another 1/3 off clearance games next week?

Thanks to langdon_alger, I was able to pick up an Odin Sphere last night at the Haywood CC in Greenville, SC. I did not see another copy. It was still marked 39.99. I'm a 2D fan and I've been wanting to try this game out forever, but only at

Scored the last one in Hamburg Pavillion. Lextown locations have reallly been pulling through lately. I was getting ready to leave and saw the last one. It wasn't in the clearance bin. Instead; it was on the shelf with the new games. I will head over to the other location tonight so I can hopefully score another. I might snag a copy of snake eater for 10 bucks while I'm there just to collect it. Thanks OP! CAG rules!
 
Scored Odin Sphere at the CC in Overland Park, KS at 119th & Metcalf. They had two and I bought one, so there's one left, they were in with the horribly organized new games.
 
After looking through the shelves of CC, I managed to find 1 copy of Dawn of Mana and went ahead and bought it since it was so cheap ($16.96). No Odin Sphere, unfortunately. This CC is located in New York, Queens (Rego Park).
 
Forgot to say that neither CC in Overland Park had any copies of Dawn of Mana, and the CC by Oak Park Mall didn't have any Odin Sphere.

It's not rare, near every GS has it in stock. yeah, the game is pretty bad, only thing going for it is the art style.

How much does GS have it for though? I just got a ps2 (yea very late) and I'm getting games for cheap not spending more then $16 mostly on used some new. I saw Odin Sphere and I'd like to get it for $15 or less.
