Anyway, I saw Donkey Konga (the first one) today for $11.36 after discount. I don't know when that game finally went on clearance, but it seems like it took forever.

If you paid debit/credit or gave them your phone number/name when you bought it then you are "in the system" and they could look it up for you at the store.

Went to Atlantic Center in Brooklyn earlier today... Gonna try and check Union Square tommorow (well today I guess since its 2AM)...

Atlantic Center was closing when I arrived so I didn't have much time to browse but didn't see anything worthwhile in the PS2 section. Since the DMC is kinda hard to miss I doubt there were any at this location...

I can tell you that the prices for these CE's will be unaffected by the clearance, as none of them are in the clearance schedule. So they should all be about $29.99 (Madden may be a little more.)

Well, I picked up these:

Meet the Robinsons Xbox 360 $11.36
Happy Feet Wii $11.36
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 $11.36

These were the last copies that I saw of each in the store which is funny because a couple of weeks ago they had at least 5 Happy Feet & Meet the Robinsons. The only reason I was able to get DOAX2 because at my local store they put most of the 360 games in a glass case and I was barely able to see it in there behind six copies of Dirt. Out of the group it was the only one that never had a price tag to show a price drop.

im not sure if this has been asked already but will the 33% on clearance with in conjunction with the buy1 get1 50% on handhelds ? (assuming you were buying two handheld games that are clearanced)

Personally I think it'll work in the system,but the employees are usually oblivious to the term "on clearance" and may give you a hard time.

Wondering the same. We won't know for sure untill its time but I can see it going both ways.
 
If I recall correctly, the clearance prices with the 33% off are reflected in the system... so in that case, yes, it would stack with the new deal. Only reason I could see it being a problem were if the 33% was a separate promo.
 
If both promos stack, you can get 2, $16.96 games for $16.98 so it's almost like B1G1 free.

I am hoping for some kind of glitch that takes 50% off both games (since CC has been known to have glitches with past similar offers)

Knowing CC, they'll forget to program their computers and everyone will be arguing with the cashier. Be awesome if they really fuck up and it's 50% off everything bc if that happens, you can bet their inventories would be cleaned out. lol.

I really only bought the two :ds: games to see if the B1G1 50% off stacked on top of the 33% off. The computer didn't apply and when I asked he called his manager and said it only applied to the games in the ad. :roll: I plan on going back later in the week to get my money back off those two and the two Lumines GH I got last week.

Had problems with the 50% off, 33% off, and Gamers card at two CCs already. The 33% off code seems to override the other two and the cashier's screen pops up a message that says something like 'Coupon invalid. Best Discount Automatically Applied'' and it shows a list of all three discounts with the 33% off coupon code at the top highlighted and the other two codes under it in orange saying it did not apply them.

Manager did an override at both stores so I did get the discounts, but expect to have the same problems when you buy stuff this week.

Games that are on clearance (prices ending in .96) are 33% off until 09/15/07.

Though I've found games in the clearance bin that aren't really on clearance, and games that aren't in the clearance bin that are on clearance.
