Club Nintendo 2012 (Club Year Ends 6/30/12)

So I'm sure, the surveys that I've got locked in right now that say they don't expire for...years, those aren't going anywhere, right? Since they changed the policy that after you register a game the survey has to be done within seven days?

Because (as crunchewy says) the surveys, despite how quick I can go through them, get old fast. I'd rather rgeister a few games, get to platinum, and then finish out surveys for the new years starting tomorrow.

Can I do that?
 
I didn't manage to reach Gold but who cares cause it probably will be another shitty calendar. I had Gold last year and didn't even bother to get the calendar. Anyways, I went ahead and spen my 700 coins on the Zelda and Mario posters.

I hope so. This is exactly what I'm planning to do with a couple codes I entered and won't fill out till tomorrow.

Anyone who is short points, please check the trade thread. I need to get rid of a couple of codes.
 
I'm 13 surveys away from gold on my primary account. Then I need to make sure my secondary gets up there.

Then woohoo, party times.
 
Do we know yet which game will be the next 3D Classic? Any guesses? They seem to be pushing Zelda pretty hard right now, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the original Zelda or II in 3D next.
 
I had expiring points so I ordered the red microfiber pouch. It came in today- looks great!

In fact, it matched up with my Famicom GBMicro so well that I had to take a picture of it. I intended to use this pouch to store some camera accessories but I like it so much I might have to find a video-game related use instead...

Well, we still have yet to receive Xevious, so that may be up next.

If it looks like this one, I'll be even more glad I snagged Metroid: Other M and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor earlier this evening to get me to up platinum. Technically, Other M is a birthday gift, but I was able to weasel to Club Nintendo card out of it early.:lol::lol::lol:
 
Not quite what I expected but still pretty cool, just kinda wish it wasn't something Mario related this year but oh well! Now to enter the codes I've been saving so I can have platinum for next year already :p
 
Ugh. This was my first year doing the Club Nintendo thing... and that's what I was excited for?

I'd rather have the statue from last year.
 
Not very impressed with these year's reward. I liked last years - wish they did something that you could display nicely like the little statue.

At least I'm up to Platinum for next year now - I just gotta get the DSi hooked up to the internet and the 160 coins will leave me all set for next year.
 
Someone doesn't want their reward and wants to sell it for a reasonable price, feel free to let me know.

Nothing has beat the Mario hat. Ah well.

I probably (99% probability) will sell mine, I have enough pins sitting around I'll never use (I'd never wear'em so why even have them) and would rather have cash for a new game instead of something I'll look at once and will get put into a box, never to be seen again.

Now to redeem coins for next year's platinum....
 
huh, I appear to have a survey available for registering Ocarina of Time 3D. The reason I find this strange is, I have not purchased or registered this game.

Pins? I saved up 600 points for some fucking pins? You've got to be kidding me. I would have rather had a calendar and kept the 300 if I had known it was this.

I'm a first time platinum member. How do I request the Gold reward instead? I like the calendar better.

While I like the pins, I loved the statue last year. I liked the first year when we got to pick our platinum prize. Just having 1 option is weak.

I have a Platinum and a Gold account this year (last year I had 2 Platinums and 1 Gold, I still have a sealed statue!!)... so I will be able to get the Pins and Calendar. Yahoo! I love Nintendo swag!
 
As always, I wish you got the gold reward too, but at least the pins look kind of neat. I like this swag, but I don't actually do anything with it :lol:

Guess I can start registering games again, although thanks to the dumb new rules I can't register stuff until I've already played it.

What do you mean??? I just thought when you register something, you have to do the Survey within a week, and you cannot save it anymore (though I have like 60 saved still).
 
I can't believe I've had Platinum status all three years so far! :lol: This while I feel like I don't connect with Nintendo as much anymore (although more now that they seem to be focusing on games again).

Right, that's what I mean. I can't register stuff now until after I've actually played it, instead of being able to register when I buy stuff.

Just earned my first points this year...did the survey for Other M :)

I guess it's a matter of wanting to have actual input on a game in the post-play survey.
 
I'm with you, Admiral.

I'm glad they announced the item quickly, and it's pretty decent. But I would have preferred the same set. Ours does have better packaging though.

Also, I would have loved to have a choice like Japan did. The Mario Handkerchief set is just lovely. Would have picked up multiple sets and used one daily.
 
calendars comes and go but the pins are collectible. At least you can sell it to strell for $1000.

I just put in some more codes for 2012. halfway to platinum! I really want to get rid of these kirkby and SSBB codes so if anyone wants to trade, pm me!
 
Cool platinum reward. I was hoping for something Zelda related for the 25th anniversary but I guess they like to stick with Mario since he's more universally loved.

Finally registered my 3DS and did all the surveys I've been saving. 230pts into platinum 2012.
