Subject: Webform: Club Nintendo > Product Registration > Coins

Hello, A while back I e-mailed you guys when I first bought fire emblem: shadow dragon and registered it only to received 40 coins instead of 50!

The response from you guys for me was to wait 4 weeks for the post play survey which suppose to give me my last 10 coins, it has been more than 4 weeks now and no survey or coins.

I just bought and registered pokemon platinum today and received 50 coins instantly.

When will I get my last 10 coins for fire emblem?
Why did pokemon platinum get 50 coins right away?

The break down is a ds game is 30 coins
Intent to buy is 10 coins
Register a Nintendo game and complete a quick survey within 4 weeks of its launch and earn an additional 10 Coins!

Hello y'all, I don't have a Wii or a DS, but I do have a couple of PIN codes I don't need, They are from Mario Party DS and Elite Beat Agents. I want to give them away for free, but in exchange, all I'm asking is for you to bump my tradelist here http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=159517 when it disappears from the first page. If you can do that, PM me! (One code per person, first to PM gets first choice!) ;)

GONE! :D

Hey Guys! MiNuN Here!

I just want to clarify on how to get maximum coins out of your games! So everyone should know this and how much they should be getting!

First of all this is by NINTENDO Themselves

  • Wii games = 50 Coins
  • Nintendo DS games = 30 Coins
  • Wii Shop Channel games and Wii Channels = 10 Coins (By post play)

  • Registration Survey*
    Wii Games = 10 Coins
    DS Games = 10 Coins
    DSiWare = Not Eligible
Wii Shop Channel game and Wii Channels = Not Eligible

    * Earn 10 bonus Coins by registering the game and taking the survey within 4 weeks of the game's release.

  • Post Play Survey
    Wii Games = 10 Coins
    DS Games = 10 Coins
    DSiWare = 10 Coins
Wii Shop Channel game and Wii Channels = 10 Coins
Intend to Buy Survey (Click here for more information on Intend to Buy.)
Wii Games = 10 Coins
DS Games = 10 Coins
DSiWare = Not Eligible
Wii Shop Channel game and Wii Channels = Not Eligible

Alright let's clarify!

As you know all know Wii and DS games comes with a code and when you register that code you should get

Wii - 50 coins
DS - 30 coins
DSi console - 160 coins

You will get these coins after registration survey and in addition to this
You should get

10 coins for registering within 4 weeks of its launch (no survey)

10 coins after registering it with Intent to buy (by completing a intent to buy survey beforehand)
10 coins for post-play survey that comes 4-6 weeks after you register the game

Please note: DSiware and Wiiware will only qualify for post-play surveys
THERE IS NO PENALTY FOR DOING INTENT-TO-BUY FOR GAMES SO JUST DO THEM AND LET THEM EXPIRE, you might get a code from someone else who has the game and there you go 10 extra coins, no harm in doing intent people JUST DO IT!

So if you did intent to buy, register the game within 4 weeks of it's launch and you should expect a post-play survey within 4-6 weeks of registering

MAXIMUM per ds game should be = 30+10+10+10 = 60
MAXIMUM per wii game should be = 50+10+10+10 = 80
MAXIMUM dsiware/wiiware = 10 coins

wii fit is 80 coins.

IF YOU DID EVERYTHING I MENTIONED ABOVE FOR MAXIMUM COINS AND YOU DID NOT REACH THE MAXIMUM COINS STATED I SUGGEST YOU E-MAIL NINTENDO RIGHT AWAY AND I AM SURE THEY WILL FIX IT!
Anybody know a cheap way to get 10 coins so I can get gold status
Did you get all your post play surveys for games reg'd?

Just a tip for registering multiple codes of the same game:
You can create "child" accounts in Club Nintendo. Each child account lets you register a title that you've already registered on your main account, but it "pools" all the points so you can use them together.

  1. To create a child account, log in to your account, then click the My Account Settings
  2. It's been a while, but I think there's an option to make your account a Family Account
  3. Once you've done that, you can add another person to the family. Click Add, then click Create New Account.
  4. Now, when you get to the birthday option, simply set the birthday to ensure the child is less than 13 years old. You won't be required to input any other information - you simply only need to select a username and password.
  5. Once the child account is created, you can log in to the child account and register more games, including ones you've registered on your own account.
  6. You can create multiple child accounts, so you could potentially register 2,3,4 or more of the same title.
  7. You can also do the post play surveys and intend to buy for each child account, too.

yeah already done all of those.

Well I never got the surveys for the 2 wii shop games i bought. But that was like 6 months ago, so I don't think they are coming.

E-mail them if you think your suppose to get coins from them, Nintendo has excellent customer service, if you don't get a E-mail back for a long time, E-mail them again, they'll get back to you and sort things out.

Yay, I reached over a little more than 800 coins, I wonder what I should get? Hanafuda cards or Game&Watch collection for DS?

Again, I have a
Pokemon Pearl
Animal Crossing DS
code have trades.

NOW 6 unredeemed codes for Pokemon Diamond - x_X; Well, I can do $1.50 paypal each. =P Or trade for any DS code...!

SOLD!

It seems they added the post-play surveys to a bunch of older Wii/DS games. Or they allowed people who registered them in the past to take the surveys. Now I see them for
Brain Age 1 and 2
Wario Smooth moves
Metriod Prime 3
Big Brain Academy
Hotel Dusk
Tetris DS
Elektroplankton
Mario Kart DS
Wii Play

these were always post play games. Dont take them till after the status reset if you are platinum already. Save ye pointz to get a head start on teh new year. :D

I got a bunch of codes via eBay but they're only Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum codes. I'm willing to exchange them for anything that's not Pokemon. I still need 180 coins for Platinum status.

It's especially frustrating that we've received absolutely no word on what the "Elite Member" prizes are, if any. Japan's Club Nintendo year ends on 30 September and their prizes have already been announced.
