So whos stoked about playing this tomorrow I can't wait to start my green orb fiending ass jumping around.
 
I can't wait to get this tommorow. Just got a call from the Doc and I will likely be off for the rest of the week. So plenty of time to play.
 
oh why do i have to own a SHAQ-FUing JP 360??? I want to play this at launch so bad!

Also, anyone know why they changed the name to "Riot Act" for the JP version??

I think its riot act everywhere except the US. I also think riot act was the origonal name, plus Crackdown is kind of US english.
 
Been looking all afternoon for retailers near me to drop the ball and sell it to me with no success. Too bad I don't have a compUSA nearby. GS is doing a midnight event, but I gotta get up early. I guess I'll just wait till tomorrow.

wont be buying crackdown/will be playing halo 3 beta. the crackdown demo did nothing for me, but im still sporting a woody about the halo 3 multiplayer beta. cant wait for more details :drool: .

Yeah, becoming an Airframe & Powerplant mechanic is serious bussiness. The FAA is all down our throats about being there for so many hours a day/week. Plus to keep our student aid and stuff, we can't take off time for vacations and stuff. Oh well, I have weekends and some time off in the start of next month. I am mostly just jealous and wish my schooling wasn't so demanding. 5 days a week 8 hours a day. makes school a fulltime job right now.

Crackdown is trademarked by Sega in Japan. Some early 90's game called "Crack Down"

Well, Meijer practically gave me the system (Premium + Burnout Revenge for $283 out the door, + $50 for GoW). I was waiting for a price drop to think it over, and that was a 2 day price drop, so I bit.

Thanks for the heads up on the Halo beta. I assumed as much, but just wanted to be sure. And I'll need Gold to even participate I assume?

Any Microsoft loyalists want to sponsor a Nintendo guy to really see the full beauty of Xbox Live? ;)

I paid $400 for one for my sister, and with the play time I've had I haven't regretted the purchase yet.

If MS would just drop the price of that damn WiFi adapter we could play online =(
 
Just got a call from GS but the stupid fucking recording program just yaps through the voicemail message instead of being able to wait for the beep, so I have no idea what it was about. Are all stores doing a midnight release?

All 3 GS stores I spoke with told me I needed a preorder to pick up @ midnight. sucky.
 
The wifi adapter is all about the convenience. I have the logitech and hate it because its sticking up out of my "entertainment center" I cant hide it because It only gets reception out in the open.

I bought a brand new (official) Wireless adapter for $65 shipped from ebay... :)
 
any news on what the halo 3 beta will be like? I'm assuming 1 level with maybe a deathamtch and a team CTF. Will there be the option to a player room? Or will it be just a quick match option?

From the recent interview with a Bungie employee, it was be more than just one level. He said the beta will be very robust and deep and will have a lot of features to look forward to. It will for sure have a party matchmaking system, but they haven't said anything about custom player matches.

That's not true for my Linksys adapter. I have it hidden away, under my desk and it works fantastic going through different rooms and upstairs/downstairs.

I got my when the 360 Launched last year. K-Mart had a glitch in there system and they were ringing up 49.99. :)

And since there's no time limit; 50 car explosions w/ 25 mines using level 4 explosives=entirely possible :D :D :D
 
So will the beta only be included in the first batch of this game? I've heard mixed reports, some saying that it will be included in all copies of the games for the first month or so, but some say that it's only good for the first shipments of the game. What's the deal?
 
I remember really liking the demo but not touching it again after one try. I tried it again last night and made the decision to be at CC when it opens tomorrow morning. It's just so damn fun.

Anybody feel free to hit me up for some co-op tomorrow, it should be a blast.
 
I'm down for co-op whenever myself as well. Tried my local GS, wasn't open, or atleast as late as I was trying to show up. Gonna play the demo for a bit and sleep up.

Most Def. I really like the new agents better then the orignal. Agents 2,3,4 in the new pack are hott fire. I disliked most of the originals because of the stupid face paint. Ski Masks FTW!
