Thanks for posting, but please for the love of all that is terrible, fix that title.

I laugh at Days Gone being $20 already. Sales must've been horrendous..
Days Gone is surprisingly selling really well from the numbers that have come out.

Considering that the other games are 1st party, I bet the Playstation Hits games on sale will be stuff like Uncharted 4 and Ratchet & Clank.  So wouldn't be surprised if Persona 5 or Yakuza 0 are not on sale.

This is retarded, no idea what any game prices actually are. Why bother posting a press release.
I look at this as a heads up to certain things going on sale soon and to wait for the sale if something you want is mentioned. It’s a bit ambiguous, but still specific enough to glean some useful info from.

I would totally buy Spiderman for $20 digital and I already own a physical copy. Also hoping for Days Gone for $40, with GCU lowers it to $32.

Was REALLLLLLLLLY hoping to see the VR Gun get discounted.
That thing seems to sell out repeatedly. Probably not much incentive to discount it. Also I can't imagine the profit margin is very wide. I've seen the bundle with Firewall or Farpoint get down to like $50 a couple times. But not often.

Hey guys!  If Sony's PS4 SEA market promo is any indication, the select titles on sale and their pricing might go like this:

(after some currency rate exchange magic doodah)

Days Gone                      $49.99

God of War                      $19.99

Marvel's Spider-man       $19.99

Last of Us Remastered      $9.99

Uncharted 4                       $9.99

Uncharted: Lost Legacy   $19.99

12-month PS+ sub (digital via PS store)  30% off

3-month PS+ sub (digital via PS store) 30% off

12-month PS+ sub with BONUS 3-month FREE  (available at participating retailers)

That sums it up for now... and odds that at least one of those price points will ring true.  Cheers!

I figure Spider-Man will get a Complete Edition at some point this year, so I'm okay to wait on that one.

God of War, on the other hand, I may go ahead and grab if this isn't digital-only.  I wonder if it would hit $10-$15 by the end of the year...?

CAG on Facebook seems like the best way to keep up with deals that are presented in a comprehensible way. this forum is kinda dead now. :( Y'all ain't posting here enough

Most likely will around Black Friday. Last year I think I bought a copy at Gamestop for $17 for a gift, God of War that is.

I really hope Days Gone isn't $49.99, pretty sure it's about that price at Wal-Mart currently.

am sure it will, it worth asking price to me but if you want save money i will be cheaper this year.

Should I cop the pro or the Days of play console?
If you already have a ps4, I would just hold off for the ps5 at this point. I would consider getting a pro if it were discounted to $250, which is barely less than what I paid for my One X, but at this point in the console cycle, it's ridiculous for the prices to be this high. I haven't touched my ps4 in months anyways, since getting the One X and switch. At some point I'll go through my back log (yeah right).

I'm debating Spider-Man for this reason... $20 is my sweet spot but I can't help but feel a complete edition is coming.

Same feeling, but I feel fine having waited for $30. That HZD dlc has been on sale makes me more comfortable we'll see a Spidey dlc sale.

I will say I just finished Days Gone. While it starts a bit slow and generic, by third camp the story picks up and gets really good after that. Maybe first 10 hours are slow story wise to establish the gameplay loop, then it picks up a lot

I’d say probably took me 50-70 hours to beat the main story. Really good game with technical and QOL flaws but nothing game breaking. Loved every minute of it and easily worth $60 imo

Hmm wondering if it will be 15 months for 30% off or just 12? $42 for a year ain’t bad

Oof 39.99 is borderline- but it is a new release that sold really well so can’t blame them. Everything I’ve heard says this is far better than review averages

I am in for $39.99 but if you don't mind waiting a bit longer I am sure it will be $20 by Black Friday.

It sounds to me like on PSN 12-month and 3-month subscriptions will be 30% off. Buying PS+ at participating retailers has no discount, but the 12-month subscription will come with an extra three months.

Hold off on Days Gone - that game was a critical flop and sales will only continue to lessen. $20 before Black Friday, easily.

Flop? It outsold God of war in Japan, was top in sales for 4 weeks.
In that CAG's defense, the verbiage was critical flop. And that metacritic score ain't no lie.

But I will buy at $40 on PSN and - if Tetris is on sale - I'll get that, too. :)

I'm not a fanboy, I love great games regardless of who makes them and own every console worth owning. Days Gone is a fantastic game! Anyone who says otherwise likely hasn't played it. Some of the vistas in this game have been nothing short of breathtaking, and it has a great gameplay loop. True that it is pretty unoriginal, but it's like a mashup of Dead Rising 3, with some Uncharted and a sprinkle of State of Decay. I only paid $40 as I pre-ordered as part of the Target deal months back. $40 is a fantastic price for this masterpiece! Its a true must-play and I am glad I didn't listen to the negative press.

Days Gone will surely hit $30 range at some point this summer. Might be too late for me though. A lot of stuff is coming out this fall I want to play.

That's my thoughts. My backlog is already absurd, but right now I'll actually play Days Gone so I am stoked to pick it up for $40 now.

It is selling very well and is getting far better reviews by actual players. I can attest, paid $60 and got a really good 50+ hour experience out of it

It will be $20 on BF but that has nothing to do with sales or reviews, most Sony first party games, even huge hits, go to $40 then $20 in the 3-6 months mark for e3 and Black Friday

Probably better off saving your money for when it comes to PS+ soon at the end of this year
Days Gone on plus? Yeah no way

There is no trend of Sony games hitting + within first year for several years. Has God of War done it? Spider man?

Hold off on DG if you want a BF sale but folks, there’s no realistic chance it hits plus this year. Maybe late 2020 after PS5.

It’s selling very well. There’s no reason to give it away so soon

The critics can stick it, the game is great...even with the poop framerate.
Haven't noticed any problems on Pro. Some of the critics had some weird political slant to their review or bias. Though, I could care less what failed journalist non gamers think of videogames.

I have Days Gone up for trade if anyone has the games I'm looking for.  Here's the link to my post in the CAG's trade forum.  PM me if you're interested.

Sorry, I didn't color the text yellow. I was being sarcastic just like the person I was responding too. Could be plus down the line, but definitely not this year

Per slickdeals target ad-

MLB $40. GoW and Spider-Man $20.
Ugh. Was trying to wait for Spider-Man to be released with a complete edition, but I might break down and buy it at $20. The DLC will probably be on sale for < $20 before I'm done with it. Just worry about running out of hard drive space (2TB is already over halfway full...)

Wish I was more interested in GoW - it seems to be an amazing game, but for some reason I really can't get interested in it. I guess I should be glad for 1 less game to backlog.

The season pass was included with my spidey pro. I loved the game, but found the dlc very underwhelming.

IMO $20 is a great price for spiderman vanilla, but $20 is too expensive for its sub par dlc (unless you really love side activity filler)

Since you're almost full, go buy another 3TB for $30. I just bought 2x 3TB Seagate EXT HDD last week for my PS4 and X1.
