So I was told at my best buy that even though it was stated on the mag that you can get it free with a prototype 2 pre-order that I had to choose between getting said mag or the poster. Told her the issue about about how the mag would not ring up free with the poster and she still would not budge.
 
My worst buy wouldn't stack the 10% off used games (gamers unlocked) with the $10 off 29.99 or higher used game. Can't wait until they go belly up.

Mine didn't either. Because they scanned things in the wrong order. The manager up front wouldn't price adjust, either.

Here's where our experiences differ:

I decided to take a route other than complaining about it at this point - I called up the RZ hotline.

The CSR was very nice, told me to go to my home store and to have them call RZ if there was any issue whatsoever about giving me a price adjustment. She also game me 500RZ points ($10) for my trouble.

The next day, I went into my BBY and got my $8 back.

...and that's how I got Halo Anniversary for $10.

Bought them a couple weeks ago with the coupon...

Sound quality was okay... not on par with TB x32's. The earcups on the Primer are extremely small, and sit on your ears vs over them. This caused discomfort fairly soon into a session.

I returned them and bought the x32's, which are a ton more reliable than the x31's. The new wireless tech they included have reduced all of the cutting out/popping that plagued the older models.

I've had this magazine since like the third issue and have yet to use a single coupon out of it.....they even gave me a free extra year for being an "early subscriber". I paid $15 for my subscription initially so it was nice to have gotten that extra year but I still want to use a coupon....I feel I've overlooked some great deals in the past though.

I'm was gonna get Homefront for 360....since it would let me have it for $1.29 BUT can't use online and I'm not driving across town.


Why won't they let you use these coupons online? I know my local BB has a terrible in-store used game selection.

Really? I've used TONS of the coupons. I guess it just depends on what you feel is a good enough deal and the type of game(s) you play regularly.

For me though, I've used the Rage, Bulletstorm, Mass Effect 2, Rocketfish headset, Batman: Arkham City and many, many other coupons and many of them MULTIPLE times.

You have definately missed some great deals then, especially Arkam City for $10. However, you can switch your subscription to digital though and they will email you the coupons and you can use those online.

In my packet came a coupon for a B2G1 on new games for console or PC. The coupon states that it can be up to a $39.99 value, so does that mean my free game can only $39.99 and under?

Interesting, I've never seen anyone put a limit on the free game of a B2G1, only seen the whole equal or lesser value thing. Guess I'll have to pick up an HD collection or something since I don't have a Vita or 3DS. Anyone happen to know if the coupon stacks with sale prices? I'm guessing not.

The coupon worked for me on Black Friday on Rage, Need For Speed: The Run and Assassin's Creed Revelations. All of which were on sale that day for $29.99 to $34.99, down from MSRP, which is what they were at just before BF.

I remember that coupon but at that point I already had the game. It was purchased for me so I wasn't bummed about the pricing.

I signed up late Jan or early Feb and just got my welcome package too. They expire July 7th. It comes with four coupons 1. B2G1 up to 39.99 value 2. B2G1 on pre-owned games 3. Save 10% on a digital gaming purchase up to 14.99 4. 50% off any Strategy Guide. You also get two small stickers that have your Unlocked/Reward Zone barcode to stick anywhere you want.

I thought the demo was bug ridden (crashed on me twice, a lot of audio issues), but it will give you a feel for the combat. I am about 80 hrs in and think it is pretty good. The best part is the art, combat, and crafting/salvaging aspect. The story is not good. I find myself skipping all dialogue.

It's top notch, gameplay, storytelling, and even the side quests are fun. I'm sucking every juicy bit of fun out of it, taking my time as I go.

Yes they take care of their Silver members. If and when you lose that you're returned to crap general population level. Trust me, everytime I asked silver anything they gave me reward certs, now I'm lucky to get a response.
 
The ad for 4/29 doesnt have a darkness 2 deal to stack the coupon with. The only reason why i havent thrown out my darkness 2 coupon yet is because im preying for an unadvertised deal to show up :(

Wow where have you been there's been tons of deals even before the coupons stacked. Were you following the @gamer threads the whole time? NFS shift/NFS Hot pursuit both were $20, DA2 $15, Batman AA GOTY $15...all these were when these games were $30-$40 not longer after release. The 50% off used game coupon last April/May netted tons of deals/flips(YMMV on in-store selection) but many many CAG's used this issue to stack credit for the 5 for $100 deal 2-3 over. For as long as you've been subscribed you should've made $ easily...what are the last 10 games you've bought in general maybe it's just your gaming taste?

Worse case scenario they deny the poster but you could always come back & say you didn't get it. But it would be much tougher to get the mag free after purchase.

Yes! Bestbuy is the reason I started trading in games - couldn't resist the 60% bumps. Also getting Mass Effect 3 for $20 (PM and GC) was awesome.
 
For those who have picked up Resistence 3, does this have a online pass code? So does this mean if it does and the code is either not there or used, I will not be able to play online?

Yes it requires a online pass. Bestbuy's used games rarely include one. You'd have a better chance waiting for Gamefly to have a deal because they 99% of the time give you the online pass.
