Battlefield 3 VS MW3 is on the cover: coupons live from 8/28-10-/1

$5 single issue, $15 year sub of 10 issues not 12(2 months coupons overlaps)
Here's the link to the @gamer mag site if you need assistance on tracking your subs email them & if there's an error on their end they'll credit you on the back end with more issues. Their also on Twitter & facebook.

Previous 2 months coupons for those who may not think the $15 sub is worth it [1,2]

Link provided for those who still have issues getting stores to allow the coupons to stack, BB Corp response
Link for any issues that take place month to month

****The coupons stack w/SALES PRICES****
****Price Matching DOES NOT STACK w/@gamer coupons****
****Even my VERY VERY generous local BB's will say no 1 or the other****

So when a $30 game like Brink goes on sale for $20 stacking the coupon makes the final price $10.. I'll update the OP as sales change & the title will reflect the lowest price AFTER COUPON has been taken off.

per walmarts coupon policy they will only take a competiors coupon if it states the price on the coupon. if the coupon said hunted for 10.00 they would accept the coupon. if it states 20 off they should refuse it according to their published coipon policy. in this case it is a dollers off coupon so they will not accept

i gots my mag in today and I was able to scan it in a pdf, so i can i print a second copy for my gf to take with me so i can getz the brink and demon forge yo! Cant wait, tomorrow will be a good day. As long as it isnt storming its azz off.

This.

Got my mag today as well. Tomorrow is going to be a good day. I hope Best Buy keeps up with the coupons. Even if there is 1 coupon a month that makes us CAGS happy I will keep subscribing.
^You mean the way Borders' sales are getting raped by retards? :p
Now now. Not everybody is a CAG that waits for 90% off and even scoffs at that.

Hopefully there will be SOMETHING halfway decent left(like some fixtures for $5-10 each on the last day), but if not then oh well.

Anyway, I wonder if I can convince the people working at my local BB(where I signed up for the magazine subscription last month) to let me grab this month's issue while I wait for my issues to start being mailed to my house. If not, then that means I'll have to buy a frickin' copy for $5 if I wanna get Hunted for $10 this coming week.

I have never understood why these subscriptions take 4-10 weeks in most cases to start being mailed to you if the sign ups are done electronically and wired to the publisher.

Didnt get my mag today.

Gotta hope there will be some brink and demon forge left Monday after i get mag

Sh!t like this pisses me off

My store had two copies of hunted. So I went ahead and grabbed it and will get it price adjusted next week ( they assured me it will be done). Maybe that will help me get both games with one coupon.

There's 24 hour best buys?!!!?

I did the same thing a couple months ago when they had the 1/2 off used game sale.

We have a 24 hour Bestbuy in NYC but it closes at 10pm on Saturdays and 8pm Sundays. The rest of the week it is open all day.

I had a problem with the last issue coming in late and I wanted my coupons, so I went into the store and talked to one of the guys that normally knows what's going on. I explained the situation to him, and he said that I really needed to resolve it with the @gamer company, but he would give me one this time :) He took it to the register, cleared out the price, and I was on my way.

I would like to see the subcription somehow linked where you can get your copy at the store instead of having to wait until they feel like sending it. When I emailed about the last one, they told me it could take up to 1 month. My response was, if you advertise coupons, what good is the magazine to me if I can't use what I don't have???

Hopefully someone can post their experience trying to use the coupon on both games. And I'm not talking arguing with the cashier, I'm talking just taking both games up with one coupon, and seeing how the register handles it.

I heard Brink wasn't that good, but for $10 I guess you can't go wrong. Hunted might be worth it as well even though it got less than stellar reviews...

Just got back from Best Buy and purchased both Hunted and Brink. The coupon in Best Buy's system DID NOT stack, which I kinda didn't think would. So I was able to get my copy of Brink for $10 with one coupon and I had to purchase another magazine to get another coupon to get Hunted for $10. So all in all, $25 was spent for those two games. $20 would have been nice, but I'm happy with what I got them for.

Are you saying they couldn't be used on both games? Or they did not stack on sales prices and override was needed?

One coupon couldn't be used on both games. I had them try to ring it up with both games at the same time with one coupon and it only took $20 off one of the games. The games are still listed at $29.99, so I was able to get both on two separate transactions for $10 each (add the extra $5 for having to purchase a second coupon on one of those transactions). But the whole thing had to be done in two separate transactions.

I think he meant that brink and hunted are on the same coupon. Which they are, ymmv on getting both in one try. I only want hunted so it doesn't matter to me

If they don't allow you to use the coupon on both games purchase a second mag sell a coupon from the 2nd mag to recoup the $5.

yeah, that's what i figured but his wording was confusing and I didn't want to drive to BB just to get denied on hunted.

That sucks.

I'm debating whether I should try to get them to scan both on one coupon at the register (maybe try 2 separate transactions?), or just try to get them to just scan the coupon right out of the magazine without tearing it (so I could at least go back a separate trip). The two times previously that I used @GAMER coupons, I actually didn't bother tearing them out, just flipped the page of the magazine and they scanned it without question. I did that because I was buying both magazine and game in same transaction. Of course now that I actually NEED the coupon a 2nd time I'm sure with my luck they'll insist on ripping out the coupon page. I figure if I try to get both on one coupon, if they say no that is likely to prompt them to rip out my coupon as well to kill the possibility of my 2nd idea (keeping the coupon in the magazine intact).

I hate that this is a "either/or" coupon. Combine with the fact that people that subscribed aren't even getting their magazines yet, and I'm glad I didn't bother signing up (yet). I still might in the future if they get their act together.

You Need Cool cashier when you using one coupon for 2 separate transactions. I hope I get one. Save me 5 dollars from Buying a new magazine
i need help choosing either brink or hunted
Why? Assuming you're going for PS3, just get Brink from TRU

hope I can get a copy of hunted later today. was interested in it but not at $60.
Why? Assuming you're going for PS3, just get Brink from TRU
Ditto!!

If you wanna get both games from BB cuz you wanna burn RZ cert/ GC, just purchase Brink w/ the coupon and do a PM for Hunted...jeez, was that so hard?

My cashier happened to be the guy that usually runs the returns counter, the one who knows how everything works - so I needed 2 mags.

Does anyone know if Hunted is going to have DLC? I'm planning on selling it after I 1k it.
You Need Cool cashier when you using one coupon for 2 separate transactions. I hope I get one. Save me 5 dollars from Buying a new magazine
Well I think in this situation it could take a coupon-nazi type cashier to not at least do 2 separate transactions for you. Usually I wouldnt' say that because the coupon does technically say Brink "OR" Hunted, but it seems ridiculous to buy 2 separate magazines if you want to buy both games using a coupon. I hope this isn't a trend for the future of @GAMER magaazine. Hopefully at least the majority of cashiers will think that way as well (i.e. I'm sure at least 25-50% will probably be coupon nazies and get in the way, but I would hope the odds would at least be in our favor).

Fortunately i had a cashier that did 2 separate transactions no problem on Hunted (360, to trade in) and Brink (PS3, to play). It probably helped I asked right up front to do 2 transactions rather than wait or the system to probably give some error message. But she did take my coupon away from me rather than scan it right out of the magazine. Kind of a bummer because i wanted the PS3 version of Hunted as well, I only bought the 360 version because I locked in a $30 trade-in. I didn't want to push my luck asking to get a 3rd game on one coupon (was hoping I'd just get to walk out with the coupon still in the magazine, and go back in for my PS3 copy later). Oh well, can't really complain, basically got Brink free and should make $5 off the total deal, and thats before trading in Brink when I'm done with it. :applause:
I just paid $21.63 for brink and hunted, even if they are mediocre games that is still a good deal.
so you were able to use the same coupon twice?
so you were able to use the same coupon twice?
You can only use it twice if the cashier does 2 separate transactions. You can't use the same coupon on one transaction. So it seems it would be 50/50 depending on the cashier you get. I don't think it's alot to ask to do 2 separate transactions for 2 different games, but there will always be YMMV factor when dealing with that sort of thing.
so you were able to use the same coupon twice?
I handed the cashier my coupon and she looked at it for a second and said she didn't think it she could use just one coupon but then she split it into two transactions and scanned it twice.

I think as long as you are polite and don't run into someone super strict to the rules you should be fine.

Bought the sub to get the mag. Convinced the cashier to use one coupon twice on a single transaction. $37 for both games and the year sub. AND i never tookthe coupon out of the mag.

Same here: One coupon, both games and Mag Sub = $37

So the system lets you scan the coupon twice in one transaction?

Good to know...

Where do I go to see what address they are shipping my @Gamer magazine subscription to? I signed up in store but I'm afraid they may have used an old address. Do they use the address on your Reward Zone card?
