Back on topic, yes, argyle, Everything or Nothing was suprisingly good. Its so much better than the latest Syphon Filter game, its not even funny.
 
CheapyD I have much respect for CAG and sorry about coming of like a dick. It's just people need to read all the pages of the thread when trying to partake in a deal instead of asking the same thing over and over again.

i see that soul calibur was on the TRU clearance list...i got it yesterday, but it rang up at 19.99...should've it rang up less than that? If so, would i be able to disute this? thanks...i plan to go back later today, hopefully i'll be able to get moreplease let me know

well i finally broke down and ordered a few games. had to stop after three. here's my take:

Two of the games I ordered after my first order on Sunday have been shipped and those would be Manhunt XBOX and Red Dead Revovler XBOX. The only one is the Mafia XBOX that had the shipping added to it. Hopefully, it will ship out tomorrow.

I know that Gamestop runs a double pack deal with Soul Calibur 2 and Metal Arms for 20 bucks for the Xbox new. They're both great games (SC2 for 10 dollars is amazing). So there is an avenue for you if you're still into the purchase.

I ended up ordering Sudeki, Suffering, and Manhunt. The only one that has shipped so far is Sudeki. But I'm not worried about it - they probably got pounded since Christmas. I can wait.

Ordered mine on Christmas Day too (in the evening), they just showed up as "processing" today. Charges have appeared on my credit card though (yes, they made separate charges for each individual game :roll: ). So we'll see.
 
Gah, I broke down and ordered something. The deals are just too tempting...soooooo cheap...

Here's my personal recommondations for anyone looking for some Xbox games:

Breakdown $7.99 (EVERYONE buy this game NOW, damnit!)
Tenchu: Return from Darkness $9.99 (decent stealth game, though you really have to get into it)
Full Spectrum Warrior $9.99
The Suffering $9.99
James Bond: Everything or Nothing $9.99
Psi Ops $9.99
Chronicles of Riddick $9.99 (though you may want to pick up the PC version instead since it has a few nice extras and retails for only $20 more new)
Thief: Deadly Shadows $12.99

Those are the ones that are pretty high on my list anyway, there's definatly a bunch of other good ones to choose from though. Oh, and does anyone else think they make it WAY too damn easy to buy games once you're signed in? I mean seriously, there should be a law against being able to buy things with 2 button clicks total...it just makes things so tempting...

Edit: and to the person who brought up that none of the high-profile games/most ordered games have been taken off the site, I just noticed they DID remove Otogi 2 from their used game listing, so it definatly looks like they're removing games when they run out of them. It just seems that they had a whole crapload of the high-profile ones, which is probably whey they're so cheap (I mean really...$40 for Crash Twinsanity? They must've bought one copy of that game)

But, holy mother of f@rk, MY GAMES HAVE NOT SHIPPED!!! I ordered them Saturday around Noon, they're still "Buy-It Processing".. Outlaw Golf 2, Manhunt, Red Dead Revolver, 007EoN, Rallisport Challenge 2 and Full Spectrum Warrior.. why have they not shipped?! This is starting to annoy me that people who ordered Sunday have had their ship..

I'd recommend Breakdown, though The Suffering isn't bad either. If you want a cinematic and immersive first-person game, get Breakdown, if you want an action/horror game (although I didn't find it scary at all), get The Suffering.

They might be backqued from that day actually, which could mean that it'll take em a few dasys to get it together. I ordered mine Sunday Night and both shipped today, a day to process, and a day to ship.

USPS I believe. Which allows for PO boxes, unlike Fedex.
 
How long will it take to get my games?

Games ship from Los Angeles, CA. Shipping time averages 2-4 days anywhere in the US, but it can vary from customer to customer as well as from shipment to shipment, depending on your postal route, delivery location, local post office, the volume of mail, the weather, holidays, etc. We are continually working with the Post Office in an effort to improve shipping times.

So, I'm guessing it's USPS. Also, they say your game will be there within 5 business days.

Same here, just went to processing. I'd bet anything that they are short staffed over the next week due to the holidays.
 
Had a thought... are these shipping faster for members? Could be that subscribers to the service will get first dibs and anything left over will go to those who purchased as non-subscribers.
 
At least your show up as processing. Mine still show up as 'Order Placed.' Card was charged pretty quickly though.

And I have the Gamefly subscription for 6 months...my systems (I own all 3 systems) are loving it so far.

And shipping for me usually takes 1 day, since they ship near my city.

I'm a subscriber who purchased on Christmas morning and I have not had anything ship, so I doubt this is the case.

Well, it says they base their pricing based on their inventory...so I'm guessing this sale is going to run them pretty dry, resulting in more prices. However, it seems like they do offer game pretty damn cheap there. Definitely going to be ordering from there in the future. The free shipping lasts through the 9th of January, I think I read.

Also very nice to see that they refunded me for the shipping they charged me. I didn't even have to notify them about getting charged -- they did it automatically! =)

order 6 games on xmas day...still processing..havent shipped yet...just added 3 more games yesterday: Sudeki, Red Dead Revolver, and Breakdown...these gamefly deals along with the TRU deals, i shouldnt buy anymore games for a long time...but its hard to pass up a good deal

The free shipping offer ends on January 6th, so perhaps the hot prices end then too.
 
Actually I think these prices will continue for a while. Gamefly has always had decent deals on quite a few games, it just wasn't really discovered until now. I had actually completely forgotten they sold used games until I saw this thread.

I received my game today. It was purchased on the 25 and I live roughly 30-40 min away from their distribution center. The case and manual were in great shape. The game itself was resurfaced. I popped in the disk for a few seconds and it runs well.
