Gycott seems cool to me. In 7 posts he's helped us all more than most of the people on this board, so let him say what he wants. Don't be so ungrateful.
 
guessed has the right idea, a front page deal would have meant that I could have done more than move a dozen titles that were already on the verge of OOS and in doing so I could have actually repayed Cheapass Deals for some of the cheapness that it brought my way. Oh well, ill just have to keep my eyes peeled for another deal

I have to admit that I'm shocked that Overstock is actually shipping these.

I missed out, but glad that those of you who were in the right place at the right time are getting what you ordered.

Props to Gycot for finding this. I think the title was hilarious.

How am I being ungrateful? As I said, I saw the deal before the post was posted. It kind of goes to show that no deal stays hidden for long, with all the CAGers on the prowl.

I agree with everyone that this was one of the biggest deals of the year (or, at least, I'll think that once my order is in my hands). I also agree that gycott seems like a cool guy. I just want him to stay like that.

Did you even read my post? Nothing I said insinuates that I don't appreciate the deal. Hell, I'm the one who posted that people who missed out shouldn't be wishing ill on those who were able to take advantage it.

If Gycott meant that he would've liked to see the deal posted on CAG's front page when he said he was hoping for a "shoutout from Cheapy D," then I misunderstood and I apologize.

EDITED: Yeah this flaming is pretty stupid, just share deals when you get them instead of ripping on others is all I was saying
 
One of my orders, Arc the Lad and Wild Arms 3, has shipped. My second order of DVDs hasn't shipped yet, but I have high hopes.

I did read your post, and I guess I could have put a few more words in mine, it was meant to be read as
"everyone but ViolentLee appreciates [Gycot posting] this deal". Since you already knew about the deal, and were, in fact, sitting on it in an attempt to keep people from finding out about it until your friend could order, it stands to reason that you did not appreciate him posting it.

all my orders shipped as well, 3 were shipped USPS and the other order was shipped "DHL"

i wonder what that is..............

oh well at least we all got out orders shipped
 
I'm truly amazed that this all managed to ship. :shock:

I was expecting Overstock to stiff people who made orders and I'm glad I was wrong.

Job well done who ended up on top of this deal and picked up something from it.
 
Mine shipped yesterday too :D

I did notice in my email I had a message from Overstock from earlier that day, it was something about a huge clearance sale where they clearanced off alot of their own inventory...

The games were probably just a part of that sale... glad to have got the go ahead nonetheless :wink:
 
Man, if this hadn't occured during Monday Night Football I would have been in.

I see they have a lot of those titles back in stock for $20-$30. I'm just hoping they clearance them out again.
