[Dead] Zelda: Four Swords Adventures $19.98 CDN - Price Raised to $50 CDN

No, they're in Quebec, and most of Quebec consider themselves seperatists. However, they are French and as such "French pussies" is a redundant statement. I guess it cancels itself out. .....or something.
 
They actually shipped it... I can't believe it... I had all but given up on this deal and was about to get online and start the process of getting a refund, but low and behold. This just made my day a lil bit brighter ;)
 
weeks later i called and they stated that as soon as they get more shipments they should be shipping out, unfortunetely, that could take months they said....blame canada....

Will do. As I said, it indicates it has shipped but I have no way of being sure that I'm going to get it until it's actually in my hands. For the other people that did get a message indicating it shipped, what sort of shipping did u select? Just curious so we can guesstimate how long it should be before people start recieving copies (assuming they did actually ship).
 
Wow, mine's still pending. I'm gonna wait it out a bit longer, since I've already been charged anyway. I can always cancel and have my credit refunded. I'm glad some of yours shipped! Gives the rest of us a bit of hope! :)

I upgraded to first class since it was coming from another country, I figured that might give me a lil extra insurance.... plus the price was already so low that I didn't think a few bucks would matter. I know... I should be banished for such thinking but hey... I still get the game sooner (in theory).

Same here, they are clearly not shipping in the order received.
 
I ordered Four Swords, another PS2 game and 2 DBZ DVDs. I received an email that one of the DBZ DVDs shipped and the rest is "on order" and can take 4-6 weeks. Meanwhile, they charged my credit card. This Company is a joke. I requested the remaining part of my order be cancelled and the balance returned to my credit card. I've bought items from Canadian companies many times in the past and have never had a problem. I would not recommend conducting business with thiis Company. I'm happy for those of you who actually received their order, but I feel the rest of us are now screwed.
 
Does anyone have a link to a site where you can rate online retailers? I'm going to have a field day with this one.

Looks like it's multilingual and the "nouveau" is not a sticker. It's apart of the cover artwork.

Not so good for collectors. I could care less at $16.

Instructions are dual language. First half english second half french. Game is english through and through.

I chose the free shipping. I'm a CAG afterall. :wink:

Nope... the free link cable comes in a snazzy box... which actually makes me want to buy the game again. Too cheap to do it though.

I actually think it's kinda cool that the game comes in a foreign game case. Just be glad it didn't have any ghetto photocopy cover going on.
 
You could potentially wait it out....but I don't know. I think we got pretty lucky on getting our orders filled. It's up to you, but don't be surprised if it takes a few more months.
 
ya know, i am a patient guy. I dont think this game will go GH until summer 05 or christmas 05 or even later. So for now i will wait it out for a few months. also, i am considering the fact that they already charged me and said if i ask for a refund, that would take 3 weeks, and if i ask for a refund, i will definitely not get the item at the low price if I cancel the order.

Tried to warn you.

For those that got screwed, do a chargeback on your credit card. Not only will you get the money back faster than if you request credit, but it will also cost DVDsoon money since they will get hit with a chargeback fee.

I should have listened to you, i just got this email from them:

I may try a chargeback with my cred card om a couple of weeks. Heck, they just gave me the standard line "we apologize for the inconvenience" and that is canadian for "HA HA we stole your money and now you cant do shit, eh!"
 
I've got mine too, unfortunately I'm kind of a collector and don't like the box.. If anyone wants to buy it off of me, send a PM.
 
I'm thinking of waiting one more week, then I will just cancel. No use having $20 bucks on hold for a game that may never come.
