Do you have to have all the different ID numbers in your party or is it just in general?

One other question. Will two dittos breed and make a ditto egg? What about a Ditto and a Manaphy? What egg would they make?

I'm still unsure about breeding mechanics when it comes to genderless.
 
So Ditto can't breed at all? If that's true then I guess any genderless with a Ditto would make the Pokemon that isn't Ditto, although it seems odd that Ditto cannot breed. I suppose it makes Phione eggs easier though.

Ah, eff it. Is there anyone who is willing to let me add their lake Legendaries and then trade them back? I don't feel ready to catch them and I want to start breeding with Dittos.

EDIT: Or if I can get a Ditto I can start breeding. I've got the three DP starters, three Johto starters, Riolu/Lucario, etc. and I'd be willing to give all those away.

Sorry guys, but my internet is going really, really slow right now, and I'm afraid it might cut off during trades so I'm going to have to push off my trading until tomorrow night. I'm really sorry, this is frustrating to me too :(
 
I have 2 Quagsire eggs, 4 Ponyta eggs, 4 Shinx eggs and 2 Omanyte lvl 1(male and female[would like to keep these together to breed more]). I will be on tomorrow after 3:30ish PM till around half past four PM. I would like starters from the games, sans Charmander. Let me know.

i'm a noob to this and just started the game. I beat the first gym leader just 10 minutes ago. if someone's feeling generous and wants to give me some pearl exclusive pokemon, It would make my day.
 
I'm going to need some friends later, I'll finally be going home and that means having the long awaited wi-fi access! I plan on being pretty competitive, hope theres some others here like that too.
 
Holy crap! O_O I just got a lvl. 47 SHINY Palkia via GTS for a lvl. 60-something Lucario! It *looks* legit, but who knows I guess. :p Neat nevertheless and my very first shiny ever! *is excited*

I'll post my list of free Pokemon i'm giving away later tonight. =) I have so many I don't need, so hopefully I have some stuff you guys might want.

Nice on the shiny. I'm hoping for my first one this generation through breeding.

I have one extra Ditto. I would like to get something cool for my efforts of getting this breeding whore, not looking for a legendary, just a good starter or something fun. Let me know.

EDIT: I am breeding Chimchar for eggs. I will trade these for other starter eggs.
 
Kendal, on the way to getting Dialga now - but if you're on after I get a decent natured one I can breed you up the Johto starters and the other two D/P starters if you still need em. Don't really need the Ditto if you want to save it, I'd just end up handing it off to a friend so he could start breeding. =)

After you beat the game, you can catch him.

I believe it requires FireRed pak insertion. I'd help you, but apparantly you need the national dex for pak insertion to work, and I don't have that.

Any idea if pak insertion works with the old GBA flash carts? I've got one collecting dust somehwere, would be nice to catch some of the old stuff without having to buy more stuff I wouldn't play. ;)

edit:: heh, TWO dusk balls to catch Dialga. Calm nature tho. =\

If by Johto starters you mean Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, could I possibly get a set from you? ^_^;; I have any of the other starters (except bulbasaur) I could offer in return. Or perhaps a Porygon or a Ninetails? Flareon or Jolteon? Anything you need/want? ^-^;;

Squirtle and Charmander, right? Would you prefer eggs or already hatched? I can go breed up 2 eggs if you'd rather have that. =) I have a couple ninetails all ready too. But no rush or anything, I'll be up for another 4-5 hours at least (playing pokemon >_>) so whenever you get the chance. Or tomorrow or something would be fine too. =) I really appriciate it though! *happy!*

I'm looking for a set of Red/Blue Starters. I've just started the game and I'm a disenchanted with the new pokemon and just wish I had my charmander, squirtle, and bulbasaur. Can anyone help me out? I'd be glad to talk trading some of my meager pokemon! Please send a PM! Thanks so much

Doesn't really matter, but when catching him, try to get his health as low as possible and at least put him to sleep or paralyze him to increase your chances. Someone said his catch rate was 3/100 so 1/20 chance of catching him with an ultra ball. Just make sure you save right before engaging him so incase you run out of ultra balls, you can just reset and try again.

What I used before was a beefed up pachirisu with super fang and some sort of paralysis. It took me like a reset or two of 30 ultra balls, but on the third time only took like 6 balls. Dusk balls are also supposedly better since you're in a cave, however I think Ultras look cooler.
