Diamond; Pearl; Platinum 1-A (Friend Codes; Online Discussion; Trades, Battles, etc.)

To you guys battling online - what levels are your teams like? I haven't finished the game yet, slowly progressing, and I've decided that my online team is going to range from level 50 to 60. Is that about on par with what you guys are doing?
 
I need help. Everytime I try to connect to GTS it says "You were disconnected from the GTS". I tested the conection and it works fine. Connecting to battle in the PC work also. This only happens when I try to connect with the GTS. Anyone know the reason why it doesn't work?

EDIT: It seems that GTS is down atm, so it won't work for anyone.

Hmm, when battling online it doesn't really matter unless you choose to do free battle. But if you choose to use the 50 or 100 cap, all pokemon convert to that level. So all you have to worry about is the EV training and the movesets, but once you get those, there's really no need to level up pokemon for online battle.

EDIT: If I have time tonight, I'll be willing to handout some pokemon. Rhippo I could get you an Infernape or whatever fire starter you like

Hey, anyone ran into any shiny pokemon in Pearl/Diamond? Just had my first encounter with one: shiny Azelf. Had to use my Master Ball though to get it :(

Yeah. I was trying to catch it before, but no matter how little many pokeballs i used, it wouldnt go in. So I had to reset (pokemon all fainted), and i happened to get a shiny Azelf. Too bad it doesnt have better stats (it just looks nice)

Also, would anyone happen to have a pokemon with a serious nature? I want to get the Poketch app, but I can't find a single serious-natured pokemon!
 
I said this a million pages ago and I'll say it again, I've yet to encounter a shiny pokemon in the wild starting from gold and silver (red and blue don't count).

Or to those patient enough to look for one for hours on end, with no guarantee you'll even see a shiny BIDOOF. My best advice is to get every good-luck charm known to man.
 
i can get people charmanders, first 10 to pm will get one sometime this weekend. state if you want a hatched one or in an egg. just trade me some crap pokemon.
 
I too have Charmanders and need to clean out my PC for more Pokemon. Anyone, please feel free to PM for them. I have others too. I have the starters from Red/Blue and Diamond/Pearl.
 
does anyone have a charmander(possibly modest), chimchar(adamant), or a turtwig(relaxed)??

Im having trouble evolving a Feebas into Milotic. Any one have Apicot or Wiki berries they could share?

Also, im looking for a Lickitung, Tangela, Snorunt, Piloswine and possibly Electabuzz and Magmar with the right items to evolve them. I have all 12 starters and a lot other Pokemon that I could breed for trading.
 
So I've never played a Pokemon game before, but am having a great time so far. I have absolutely no idea what half the Pokemon are that are being mentioned are, which makes me wonder if I'm playing right. Should I just buy the guide???? :D

Anything you can get in a guide is available online, but if you want something to take with you, a guide is well worth it.

most of the one mention are from older version or pokemon you get later on, so you should be fine.

Man I haven't visited this thread in a while :)

105+ Hours of Pokemon Diamond, and I'm finally running the Elite Four multiple times to powerlevel my team, now that I have maxed out their EVs.
