Special thanks to Kurina and bitter1961 for digging up all these images from D2D.

So tomorrow's game will be Trine? That's new... although I think someone (Steam, probably?) just had a deal for it for $10, which I assume D2D will simply match.

Weird, an hour ago the ornament was Rise of Flight. Trine is tempting for $10.

Yeah looks like they snuck a Trine deal in on us for tomorrow. It wasn't in the original collection of ornaments and banner ads.

Steam had the game for $10 during the 5-Day 1-Day, but I skipped because I wanted it for an even cheaper price. (I'm quite the CAG, I know.)

If D2D just matches the $10 price, then I'm going to pass.

You saw that too, eh? I've had my D2D page saved in a Firefox tab so that everytime I open it up, I remember to check the ornament. I always reload the page before I submit my thing... I saw the Rise of Flight ornament and was about to send it in when all of a sudden I refreshed again and saw this new one. I'm wondering if it was a mistake on their part to have that other ornament up there... who knows. Either way, it was Rise of Flight 5 minutes before I submitted it, then Trine.

EDIT: That issue from Page 5 probably isn't the cause of this latest ornament-swapping problem. Chances are, D2D's staff are shuffling games around, even after the ornament images have been posted. I feel bad for those that actually guessed the game before the change.

I really do hope Trine is 75% off, that's be an instant purchase. Sadly, that'd be an amazing deal, which this 24 Days promotion doesn't seem to be about. (I'm a caustic CAGer too, I know.)

With the way these deals are going, we'll be lucky for 25% off...

SF4 is the first SF game I've tried to play seriously and it's just so much fun. When I was a kid I would just mash buttons on SF2 at the arcades.
Im saddened... $25 for Resident Evil 5! I was hoping it would be less.
I think I'm noticing a theme here...

It would be pretty incredible if they made one of the those fake deals real, even for a very brief period. But realistically, that's not going to happen.

The only deal I was really looking forward to was Machinarium for $10, but now I've purchased Machinarium and Samorost 2 from the developer for $10. So there goes that.

Machinarium is excellent so far, by the way--clever and inventive and beautiful. Highly, highly recommended.
Can't wait to get Trine tomorrow if it's $15 or less.
It is currently $10 at gamersgate.

Torchlight is awesome and easily worth full-price ($20), so whatever the sale price is (assuming it's part of the sale as the ornaments imply it will be), it should be a total no-brainer for anyone that hasn't grabbed it yet. :D

I'm really excited for the upcoming torchlight deal. I missed it when it's been this price previously (assuming it ends up being $10).

Really hoping to see Batman: Arkham Asylum as one of the deals. I really want the game, but I am waiting for a better deal.

Risen got bumped off its day, I went ahead and paid 40 since that was cheapest anywhere.. May pick up a second torchlight license if the price is right..

Do these direct2drive games generally come with manuals? I picked up Crysis Maximum Edition when it was on sale over Thanksgiving and it didn't seem to have any manuals. Just wondering before I buy more stuff.

So, Dragon Age it is... I think I spent as much time deciding the race/gender/class as I have most the PSN/LIVe games I have downloaded recently (too much time). Sucks that it turns out that my decision makes me hated by everyone except my own kind... Fun!

I think they're only downloadables.

While it isn't positive about the game, RE5 is not worth your money. Go back and buy an older one. You will get zero scares out of RE5.

Would sure like to get Majestic out of that list, though.

Love dragon age origins (playing it now) still have to pick up the witcher and majesty 2 (first one was ok) so winning all of them would be great!

I think the 5 year anniversary promotion on Direct2Drive was much better. These are some decent games so far though. I'd like to see some more RPGs up there. Dragon Age is awesome!
