Discuss E3!

thanks. forgot about g4 again.. i tink i got gs to play continuous.. looks like garbage for some reason but hopefully it`ll clear up and at the minimum it`s at least listenable

why is James Cameron explaining so much about Avatar..

Is it me or does his font look similar to the ATLA font. alright do I even need to see the movie at this point he`s explained pretty much everything

He's making sure we're not confused about his movie the Avatar and not Avatar: The Last Airbender
Has anything happened in this Ubi conference yet? Cause James Cameron is putting me to sleep
And yet he is still yapping on about his first movie in over a decade.
He's making sure we're not confused about his movie the Avatar and not Avatar: The Last Airbender
i understand why he would not let them use Avatar in the movie name. i do not like it but i can understand. this speech.. this speech almost takes away my intrigue for his movie.

No wonder Ubi's conference was scheduled to run for an hour and a half. That extra 30 minutes must be for James Cameron's yapping.

Wow, he's been talking for a while but I'm kind of glad he has. At first this sounded stupid as hell but now I'm kind of excited about the idea of a movie and game that exist in the same world but are totally different and the idea of a movie and game being developed side by side.
someone on G4 ``This guy was 30 when he started this speech``
This is why Titanic was 3 1/2 hours long.

Ah good, the comedian's back. At least this one's sober, so that gives him an edge over the last comedian-host. (Dun dun dun, Jamie Kennedy...)
Why does he keep trying to make jokes?
And it's not like they are bad...just little things to keep it light...but no one is throwing him a bone and laughing.

I agree, some of them aren't his fault. It is a tough audience.

True. The crowd is very dead. I've been unimpressed with them all night. I haven't heard a really good crowd reaction save a little bit of Star Wars geekdom. Which really just hurts gamer image even more.

I wonder if it because everyone is live blogging and twittering?
Is this our first major glitch of the night?
One of the guys during MS didnt have a working mic, but no one seemed to notice and he kept going.

Ahhh, that's right. I forgot. That was during Epic's game which then didn't have any context. I didn't think Cliffy would let the silence lapse that long.
Is the MC the guy on that Talk Soup show on E!?
yeah

don't watch E but that's who they said he was
