Do all the decent girls always have bfs?
What type of characteristics?
a large gut, crows feet, bags under your eyes, heed forhead lines, excessive body hair, receeding hairline. All those little things that start to pop up in your mid 20s, especially if you smoke.

Those problems shouldn't pop up that early if you eat healthy and exercise. Excessive body hair and receding hairlines are genetic though. I've seen guys as young as 18 losing hair. Luckily I don't have either of those problems.

Plenty of people don't eat healthy and exercise add on a number of smokers and drinkersr and yes excessive body hari and receding hairlines are genetic but you normally start to see significant changes around 23-26. I really wouldn't worry to much but I have had a few older friends who found it difficult to hook up and most of them looked older than everyone else.

It's a combination of genetics, lifestyle, diet, and exercise. I agree though that for most people the bad stuff they do to their bodies catches up with them mid 20's. For some people it's much earlier. I've seen people as young as 18 and 19 already aging badly. I've also seen people around 30 who look older than my parents who are in their 50's.

The hair thing is not as big a deal as it used to be. I started having noticeable hair loss after high school (my mothers brothers are all balding or bald) so I just shaved my head and I liked it. It's better to shave it than spend ridiculous amounts of money on avacor or hair transplants.

*shrug* I don't have a bf.

sux to be me too~ the bio clock is starting to rumble when I see babies...>.>

*shudder*

I'm okay with it for now, being single that is. too much to experience still to be too lonely. Not saying I'm trying to go get myself with child either, I'd much rather "measure twice, cut once" as the saying goes with the marriage/long term rel thing.

besides, being single is fun.

edit: mostly.

you're lucky, not every guy can get away with that. lol, i just saw this comedian who was talking about that and how black guys look all cool with shaved heads but with white guys it's like, "let me guess...luekimia?"

LOL, it is more common place for us black guys to wear it like that. Girls used to love my hair when I had it though. It was curly (my dad is half german so my hair isn't really kinked up like a typical black person's hair). I could even grow it out to a ponytail if I wanted. I like my smooth dome now though, lol.
I may be as old as 25 when I go back to school. But I look much younger than my actual age. Most people seem to think I'm 17. Including people around that age.
Child of the wilderness
Born into emptiness
Learn to be lonely
Learn to find your way in darkness
Who will be there for you
Comfort and care for you
Learn to be lonely
Learn to be your one companion
Never dreamed out in the world
There are arms to hold you?
You've always known
Your heart was on its own
So laugh in your loneliness
Child of the wilderness
Learn to be lonely
Learn how to love life that is lived alone
Learn to be lonely
life can be lived
life can be loved
Alone.

It's from the Phantom of the Opera... but it seems germane.
I haven't posted too much on CAG and certainly not to talk about personal stuff before but I thought I would today to vent.

I have a question for fellow CAGers. Do all the decent girls have bfs? There are very and I mean very few girls I'm interested in and every single one of them seems to have a bf. Wtf is up with that?! Are the decent girls never single or something? Am I the only one in this situation?
It's because the decent girls can never be single. And when they are it's for a very short window. You know those girls that always have to have to be with someone can never be single and have 3 more lined up behind them. Not so decent now are they? No ones decent in life big guy the sooner you realize that the sooner you will just bang em like they deserve to be.
Ugh, Ashton.

People like him are the reason I never watch TV or movies anymore.
Guess what you aren't the only one to feel that way! Ashton graduated from my high school, and he is about as worthless as people come. Most people from my school refuse to watch any of his movies he has that bad of a reputation.

I'm 23. I said I might not be back in school until 25. I also don't drink so I'm not buying alcohol for anyone.

But college girls are stupid and easy when you just mention beer.
I'm not lowering my standards. I'd rather have no one than settle. Obviously girls don't think this way.
You might actually be surprised at just how special some of the girls are that you so readily overlook. Once you get to know and care about such people, what you once saw as minor physical or character flaws may prove to be irrelevant or even attractive to you if you gave these women half a chance.

Of course, it's always nice to put yourself above everyone else and know that you deserve better. Unfortunately, many younger women are interested in "bad boys," so if you're clean and proper, you might not be the first guy on their hit lists regardless of how high caliber you may be. On the positive side, men's odds increase with age (as males tend to die younger and leave more and more women for less and less men).

I'm not balding but I was thinking of shaving my head for fun. I have a ton of hair and it's been driving me nuts lately. How close do you shave it? Razor close or just trimmer close?

Use scissors to get it short. Use electric clippers to get it really low and then a razor to finish it off.

What he said but for the last part, finish off in a shower so it'll easily rinse off the hair as you cut. Make sure your drain filter is a very fine mesh net since you don't want any big/long hairs to clog up the drain and it's easy to clean afterwards. You could alternatively use shaving gel but I always get a better and smoother cut when shaving in the shower.

Hmm. Does this story end with something like Mr. Anderson's story about writing "Penis" on his "girlfriend"'s neck?

I have a bad habit of having no point to my stories...if I continue posting on this board you will soon find this out...
But no...just smiley faces with big girly lips

you know, there really are no smiley faces with girly lips, the closest you could get would be like this:

Ok, I read the entire thread and now it's point-making time. Hopefully this will be, at most, just a rewordeding of someone else's point ;) And yes, I know that the thread has gotten somewhat off topic =P I've just been lurking around before I started posting ;)

I've noticed people all around saying "I'm not in to girls like that" or "I'm more apt to sit at home and read a book than go to a party." Well, saying things like that are fine...if you want to turn girls away and/or not find any.

I whined to a friend about how I wasn't meeting any girls. He asked me what I was usually doing each day. I said I'd go on a walk each day, go to Safeway to get food, etc etc. Occasionally stop in at the Electronics Boutique downtown (in Spokane, WA). He said "Well fine, then when you see a girl that looks interesting, strike up a conversation. In EB? Ask her if she's heard anything good about the game she's looking at." I said "Yeah...but usually I have my headphones on and I'm listening to music." He then proceeded to yell at me.

There's nothing wrong with listening to music while walking around, obviously. I enjoy listening to music and going on walks; it's very soothing and a great way to get excercise. But if I never take off my headphones, I am broadcasting to all potentially interested girls that I have no desire to talk. Not only can I not talk to girls but have you ever seen anyone try to strike up a conversation with someone who is on the phone, listening to music, etc?

I think it's admirable to have convictions and stick by your beliefs, whatever they may be. But if you reduce a girl to "She's a slut" or "She would be incompatible" then there's no way of knowing. Maybe you can convert her to vegitarianism. Or Buddhism. Or whatever. But if you don't get out there, actually talk to people and get to know them then there's no real way of knowing.

Obviously for some of us gamers that isn't an easy thing to do ;) But it comes down to being out of your comfort level temporarily or not finding friends/potential bf or gfs.

Now if only I could take some of my own advice ;) And get myself an avatar/sig...

Oh, and :dunce:

Haha, yes exactly. Riverfront Square. I go to Gonzaga so it's about a 20 minute walk for me. The EB is the closest game store (other than CompUSA...but they generally suck).

Especially that Comp, it's a mother fucking crap fest in there, still I find the EBs at the other malls to have slightly lower prices for some reason. Can you say no competition makes that EB a fat lazy overpriced store.:D

Yeah, the GameStop and Software ETC in Northtown mall are ok. But they're both owned by the same company so they don't really have competition either.

I don't go to the Valley Mall much because I lack a car.

Ok, totally hijacking this thread =X

Any thread I'm ever is is hijacked and I've mainly given up on all the local stores, their online counterparts seem to have a better selection and don't require me to move.:D
