Downloadable classic games = Big ripoff
True, but microwaves are all quantity over quality.

Sure you're warming crap up, but it's poorly warmed.
I was going to make a remark like this, but I didn't want to derail the thread anymore.

but you're right on-- pizza warmed up in an oven toaster is 3000x better than microwave pizza. The microwave brings out all that excess moisture in food and makes things like the crust all soggy.
Toasters are such a ripoff when you compare them with the value of toaster ovens. Anyone who knows anything knows this.
Depends on when the toaster oven came out. I know we have a toaster that came from like the 30-50's and it's still kicking. This toaster is one of those models with the round plug. In fact one time the plug crapped out and had to be replaced but the toaster itself is no biggie. Nowadays they don't make consumer products to last worth a shit that's why I advise if you're setting up a kitchen get ALL commercial products for the electric stuff. In fact, if I ever get married I will be asking for a bunch of that shit, including a fridge, a separate freezer, a dehydrator, Blender and Food Processor.
Back to the Wii bit and VCS, any word on NEC's VCS pricing for the TG16 games and any talk about Duo games coming?

600 points ($6) on the TG-16 games. Haven't heard about Duo games at all.

Ok it's not as bad as the Sega games which makes me happy but maybe I'll buy a TG16 and Bonk would be cheaper or does it cost more on eBay? Bonk by itself I mean.

I'm surprised how un-plentiful this game is on eBay.

This all leads me to a point that actually addresses the OP (whoa!), not every VC game is going to be a gem. Not everyone is going to want to rush out and blow $8 on ANOTHER copy of Sonic the Hedgehog. But the VC will be worth it for the games that A) are never seen in collections and B) sell for way more for their original cart on eBay. I'd rather spend $6 to play Bonk than to buy one of these aging carts (not to mention the hardware). I'd rather spend $8 on Gunstar Heroes rather than $15 on a smell cart-only copy from eBay.

Compared to collections filled with games you want to play and own, yes, they're expensive. But for those special ala carte games that you can't find elsewhere, it'll be a goldmine.

the only game on the list of all VC games I really like and feel is TOTALLY worth the money, no ifs ands or buts, is Gunstar Heroes, since the game is still a blast to play.

There are a few I would definitely buy for the Snes (FF3, Yoshi's Island) but I guess I'm just burnt out on some classic games after I went into a rage of old school gaming when I first discovered emulators 7 years ago.

So my problem with it isn't so much that I can get these games emulated, it's that I already went through the "OMG Virtual console" craze that this featured should've elicited in me and moved on from old school gaming a while ago. It's a minor complaint, but that's my reason for not being psyched about it (or many of the retro XBL releases.)
